Exceptional Customer Service
Customer Service
by esquire222 on 10/06/2016Two simple words. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Saturday I take my vehicle in to be serviced for my tire. I receive a loaner vehicle, while I wait for completion of service. I receive a call to let me know that a tire has to be ordered and my vehicle… will be ready on Monday. Ok, that's fine. Come Monday, "Ma'am the mechanic quoted the wrong receivable date for the tire. We will receive the tire late today and your car will be ready on Tuesday." Ok, that's fine. Tuesday passes. I receive a call on now Wednesday that my vehicle is ready to be picked up....after four days. Ok, whatever, that's fine. On my way to pick up my vehicle, I am rear ended on 285 in 5 o'clock traffic. Great, perfect end to a work day right. The officer takes our information and fills out the report. Now, if you didn't know this let me inform you, they no longer give you the report with the driver's information you have to wait 2 days for the report to be posted online. But, the officer lets me know that it is not my fault and her information will be posted in that time. Ok, whatever, that's fine. The kicker is, I get to BMW and tell them what occurs on my way there. They let me know that essentially "ma'am we don't care. You signed this agreement that you would return this car in the shape you received it. We will not wait on the report that shows you were not at fault. Even though, you were REAR ENDED. You will have to file a claim and pay the $500 deductible. We guess maybe that your insurance will reimburse you. We will not extend the courtesy and wait to Monday for the report on a LOANER VEHICLE. Never mind, that we have 500 other vehicles on the lot. Never mind, this is not only loaner vehicle we have. Never mind, that we're taking it to our own collision center anyway. And certainly, never mind that you just paid $300 for service to your own vehicle after holding it for 4 days. NONE of that matters. We want your $800 please." Oh, and that's not the kicker. So, once I return home after that fun adventure I realize that I left my garage opener in the loaner vehicle so I could not get in my house. I call back to say as much and I'm coming right back to the dealership to pick it up...what was the first thing the customer service desk attendant states to me you ask "Ma'am, we're closing in 10 minutes, I'll have to speak with the manager." As if to state, "You are [non-permissible content removed] out of luck." RIDICULOUS! Why would you need to speak to anyone about waiting 10 more minutes for me to come back to get my garage opener? Anyone? I will never ever come back to this dealership again. If anything, I want to turn in my car and pay whatever fees I need to pay to go with a competitor. All it takes is good customer service and that did not happen here.BMW service

by MGHarley1 on 09/14/2016I had visited multiple dealers looking for my next car. I found that Global Imports had a good inventory, people that cared and were interested in my business. The purchasing experience was excellent.BMW X4
by sssales007 on 09/13/2016I brought the call in for a recall, but also needed some body work done. Global Imports had the body work done perfectly and it was significantly cheaper than the BMW authorized collision center I originally brought the car to for an… estimate.Awesome experience - Ask for Spencer Rogers
by LocStar912 on 09/10/2016Let me start this review off by saying... I am very apprehensive about visiting dealerships. I always feel like I will be pushed into a deal. I normally car shop for months before making a final decision. I have literally been looking… for over a year. I could not decide what I wanted. I thought about a BMW and remembered that I met Spencer Rogers a few years back and decided to give him a call. The first time I visited this dealership was back in April. I was very impressed with the setup, lay out, the cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. I didn't test drive because I didn't want to be tempted to commit. I took a look at what I liked and briefly chatted with Spencer and browsed the inventory in the showroom. I went home and put it on the back burner because I just wasn't pressed to purchase. In the meantime, I was texting Spencer to ask questions about the car that I was looking for. I literally asked him probably 100 questions. LOL! I am sure I worked his nerves but he never showed that I did. He was patient and understanding the entire time. Fast forward to this weekend, one of my friends peer pressured me to go ahead and stop playing around and test drive the car. Called Spencer. He was ready for me when I pulled up. He explained the differences between the cars that I wanted and the warranty and all the bells and whistles. I asked for honest opinions and he gave them. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the BMW brand. This is a huge plus for me. You have to love your brand if you expect me to buy in. Spencer presented me with numbers and I wanted to think about it overnight. He didn't pressure me at all. He did let me know that the car may not be there tomorrow. I am in the car business so I knew this to be true. Emailed him first thing the next morning and he replied promptly. I was impressed. He kept me informed every step of the way... even if there was a delay. I am a stickler for time so I appreciated him doing this. He knew I was at work and anticipating his call. I felt like my time was respected. Spencer made this process painless and removed all my doubts about salespeople. Everyone in the dealership was nice. They spoke and smiled even when I didn't walk out with a car the first day. I drove THIRTY SEVEN miles to this dealership. There are at least 2 dealerships closer to my home. But I only wanted to work with Spencer. I also want to give recognition to Renee in Finance and Travis the BMW genius. If you are looking for a great dealership with a friendly atmosphere and wonderful salespeople.... VISIT GLOBAL IMPORTS BMW!!!!!FOB for BMW
by August121 on 08/31/2016I had to buy a FOB from BMW for my 2012 328i for some $312 which is a that is high but what can I do. The icing on the cake was when I went to get it fine the manual key worked fine the FOB did not. So I asked to program or do what needs to… and was informed that would be $195 and take an hour. I left never to return and programed off the internet to get working.Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is not consistent with the quality of service we pride ourselves on at Global Imports BMW. We would like to talk to you directly regarding your experience at our dealership. Please contact Chris Cull at 770-951-2697. We hope this does not keep you away from our store in the future and we would love an opportunity to earn back your trust.

by gsan7605 on 08/30/2016the problem with BMW is after 50000 miles is when the mechanical problems startWaste of valuable time.
by atlbmw05 on 08/23/2016updated 08/29/2016I am one of the unfortunate customers who had the airbag recall. After spending weeks tracking down the temporary replacement part myself (yes, you will have to have two installations to fix the problem permanently), BMW USA sent the part… to Global Imports specifically for me. I took the car in on one of my few free mornings and I was told it would take around 90 minutes. At a bit past two hours, I checked in with the adviser, and he said the car had just finished up. My guess was that it had been done for a while, and I could have been on my way a few minutes earlier. However, the real shock was that the car had been ready since I drop it off, because the part was not found at the dealership. Of course, since it had been sent specifically for me, it turned out it was there, but had been missed. So after nearly three hours at the dealership, I left without the installation completed, knowing I will need to return to this dealer because they have the part. The reason I decided to have this replacement completed was because I informed the dealer I was interested in purchasing the car at the end of my lease. Global seems determined to lose my business and maybe even push me to a different brand. This from a BMW enthusiast who owns 2 BMWs, and in a family that currently owns five BMWs. It is incredible how poor service can sour customer experience and loyalty.owner

by lmfoy_1 on 08/08/2016updated 08/21/2016First time purchasing a BMW, and Global Imports couldn't have been more helpful. Asked the right questions to determine what model and specifications were best suited to my needs. Incredibly informed about the particulars of the different… cars I test drove. Transparent about which costs and services were worth it and which were not. Car is an absolute dream to drive, both in eco mode and in sport. Handles incredibly well, just the right amount of tech without having a too crowded dashboard. A classic BMW. Will definitely return when it comes time to buy my next car, and would definitely recommend both Global Imports and the 2 series.Horrible Service - Read yelp reviews
by Dave12345678 on 08/05/2016I feel it necessary to point out some very concerning issues with your service department. And based off of some of the online reviews I've read this is nothing new. I've been in this business a long time and by far this has been the… worst service experience I've ever had with a business or personal vehicle. 1st - It took me 40 minutes just to check my car in. I had an appointment at 10am, got there at 9:50 and didn't get checked in until 10:30. 2nd - I was in for warranty work and scheduled the shuttle since there were no courtesy cars available. After waiting 40 minutes for the shuttle and hearing comments from others that the shuttle was running WAY behind, but no employee told me that directly, I called and got a ride. 3rd - I had agreed to having an oil change done...after further consideration (price being the factor) I emailed Kyle telling him not to do the oil change. Never heard a response back and emailed again. Never heard a response so called the next day and left a message. Finally got a return call from Kyle. Stated the emails went to his spam folder and when he got the voicemail the oil change had been done already. I told him to get with his manager with the price and he knocked off the labor which was fine. 4th - Kyle called and left a message stating the car was ready for pick up. I picked it up today and found that the door handle sensor had not been replaced, car was dirty and had grease on the one headlight so the car had not been washed. Called Kyle and he stated he thought the car was completed. Then stated that he guessed the technician decided not to hang onto the car until the part came in. Is it not the advisor's job to know what's going on with the cars he's responsible for? Now I'm told I'll have to come back in when the part arrives, go through the check in process again, and wait at least 1 1/2 hours for the part to be put on. Again, I've been to many dealerships and small shops. Mercedes, Ford, GM, etc. and have never had these kind of issues. To let a car leave when all the repairs were not completed in my book is the worst. I have emailed both the Director of Service and the GM with no response. Bringing your car here for service will be a mistake.Hi David, we appreciate that you took the time to leave us this detailed feedback. We strive to provide a stress-free and satisfactory service experience for every guest and sincerely apologize that this is not what you received. We would like to speak with you further to try to restore your faith in our dealership. Please contact our GM Chris Cull directly at 770-951-2697. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

by JoeSardina on 08/02/2016This is the 3rd BMW my wife and I have purchased from Global Imports. We will return for our next car. We will recommend Global Imports to anyone looking for a vehicle. This is why. There is no pressure to buy. The selection of… cars and SAVs is amazing. The website is maintained with the up to date inventory. The customer Service is better than most other businesses of any kind, and all car dealerships. Here is how we bought our last car. Write down the criteria or features that are most important for the new vehicle to have. Write down the criteria or features that are deal breakers. Research www.atlantabmw.com. Research other regional car sellers on their websites. Find vehicles similar to your criteria. Know what are reasonable prices. Look at www.kbb.com. Now go to Global Imports. We ask for Rick. Share your criteria with your Client Advisor. Let him or her search the inventory for you. Then, look, touch, sit in, and drive the vehicles that most closely match your criteria. Pick the vehicle that satisfies your criteria and preferences. Ask yourself, will I be happy with this vehicle next week, month, and year. If the answer is yes, make a deal. Compare the price to what you saw on other websites. Is it the best deal? It always has been for us. Buy that car. It sounds easy. Global Imports will make it easy, if you let them. Our most recent purchase took less than 4 hours from the time we drove onto the dealership until we drove away with the car. The secrets to car buying success are do your homework and go to Global Imports.Wonderful Experience!
by beachlady4 on 07/28/2016This is my 6th BMW and the last 4 I have purchased from this dealership. The manager is absolutely The Best! My sales person was fabulous! I was absolutely treated like royalty. I felt that everyone there was genuinely interested in… making this a wonderful experience and they did! I would highly recommend Global Imports. They will definitely do you right and take good care of you!Very pleased!
by LGP070911 on 07/24/2016I was pleased with all services provided. I had minor body work done on my car and not only did they treat me with respect but they were very informative and even provided a perk! Professionalism was key to all involved and shown without… hesitation.Great deal from a greater dealership
by Rainbanquo23 on 07/21/2016I ended up coming to this dealer after comparing different makes and models that I found online. But by the time I showed up at the dealership the car I was there for was being sold right in front of me. So I started to talk to one of the… sales representative Will Pinckney and he told me that he had a different make and model which was ironically a car that I was interested in but it was a newly local trade in vehicle and it hasn't gone through the dealers inspection and detailing process yet. The price that the dealership was offering the car for was unbelievabley low so I asked to see it, a 2011 BMW 750LI and fell in love with it at first sight. Will told me that The car still had the remainder of the bumper to bumper extended factor warranty on it for 11 months/ 17,000 miles but I would have to wait for about 5 days to take the car home. The wait was well worth it because the dealership put about $5,000 worth of work into this car and the sale price was still the same, smh. The whole deal wouldn't have happened with out Will Pinckney, he is the true definition of a great sale person or better yet a people person. I have already encourage my coworkers to go see BMW Global for a great deal. P.S. This is a real customer review, I normally don't do reviews but this was such a grate deal that I had to share it.Good Service
by winnieglobal on 07/14/2016I received good, timely service. The service adviser recommended and priced some other service to be done beside what I brought my car in for. I appreciated that greatly.Professional, efficient and easy to deal with!
by Jimj2001 on 07/13/2016Easy experience purchasing a great vehicle, Sam our salesperson was professional, knowledgable and easy to work with. The favorable pricing, no haggling and attractive financing available at the time made the transaction smooth. Really… impressed with the overall operation at Global, huge inventory and great service level.
Your recommendation means so much to us and we're so happy to have earned it. Thank you again for taking the time to let the world know about your positive experience. Have a great day!
