Engine light came on and I was in Athens so I took my truck to their facility on Atlanta highway. I am sold on using them in the future. Nice facility, good location, and a staff that was very professional.

Waited over 5 minutes in service lane looking at 4 service advisors sitting in their cubicles without recognition.Finally 1 asked what service I wanted, when told oil change he turned away… obviously not worth his time. A representative did come a few minutes later to write up the order, by that time there was about 6 cars in line all wondering where was the service representative Did get my oil changed at a sale price. This is a good dealership but staff needs better management.Over an Hour and a half

by notenoughtime on 09/15/2016My point is that every time that my wife or I come in for a simple service it takes 75 minutes to 2 hours. I now take my vehicle elsewhere. We only bring my wife's car because it is a lease. There are many other places that we could go and… be done in less than 30 minutes.Fast and Easy

He had prepared a ticket with the charges for my service call without checking to see that… it was still covered. by Ghost1208 on 06/27/2016This is my purchasing experience at Athen Ford, first, I was told at the time there were no United State Arm Services discount for veterans purchasing a new vehicle and that was incorrect. Second, I was ask by Finance person Mr. Shawn… Hetrick that I needed to resign the purchase agreement which I did however, Mr.Hetrick failed to inform me he added 899 dollars for GAP insurance but I was under the impression the price was already included in the purchase price of 51,321.21. To my surprise the purchase price increased to 52,220.21. Mr. Shawn Hetrick failed to inform me of the increase which he had several opportunaty to do so. I feel this practice is dishonest and lack professionalism that I expected as a consumer. Prior to purchasing I was approved for financing by Ford Motor Credit however ford had some information needed to be verified. Mr. Hetrick decided to have my vehicle finance at a higher rate of 7.0 percent instead of Ford Motor Company. Also, let me say this incident doesn't reflex my sales person Reggie which he delivered my vehicle on his scheduled day off. Reggie had to leave the dealership but he arranged for one of his colleagues to have my vehicle cleaned and service. My experience with the parts department was excellent, they were able to order parts I wanted installed on my vehicle. My overall experience was negative but I have to say, if I wasn't an African American I would have this complaint or I wouldn't have the same purchase experience. I truly feel I was taken advantage of by Mr. Shawn Hetrick and I'm planning to share my purchase experience with the owner and Corporate Office. And I would hope this incident would be brought to Mr. Shawn Hetrick attention and hopefully his behavior will change for the betterment of the dealership. [contact info removed]. I was spending the week end with old friends in Athens, and they… recommended Athens Ford. I was very fortunate to fall into the hands of Service Advisor Tiffany Scott. She and your mechanics did a splendid job of patching my old buggy back up for a safe and uneventful return to my St. Simons Island home. Bravo, and many thanks!Very rude service rep!!

The service rep...Tiffany scott... estimated 3 days on the loaner which was about how long I had it. Tiffany left me a msg 2 days after I dropped off my truck and told… me my truck was ready. I called right back and asked her to call me back because I couldn't get in touch with her. Two days went by with no return call. Finally...I get this nasty threatening msg stating I hadn't made one attempt to contact her back and that she had tried numerous times to contact me which was totally untrue. You can't pull that crap in 2016 with smart phones. She proceeded to tell me I couldn't just keep their loaner and ride around in it at my leisure and that I was going to be charged for all that time. She basically ended by saying I needed to immediately contact them or there would be consequences. This lady made me feel like I had stolen the truck and that I was some kind of criminal. I've never received that kind of treatment from a dealer. I had received really great treatment from Athens ford before Tiffany Scott ruined everything they had done. I'm not sure whats happened with customer service in this day and time. I deal with people everyday in my job and I treat each one with the utmost respect...my job depends on it and so does my family!!! Seems a vast majority of the population doesn't think like I do and just plain doesnt care!!!
