Beyond Disappointing
by Saperebird on 06/06/2025I'll start by saying this, I have never written any kind of review regarding any purchase or experience, positive or negative. After several weeks and an embarrassing amount of hours educating myself on manufactures, models, researching… and then searching for what I wanted I saw a truck at Alm that could possibly work, so I called to clarify posted add because the truck color listed didn't match photos. The truck appeared to be Titanium Rush Metallic, but listed as black. I called and spoke to used car manager and he said he was just next to it and it was in fact black. I asked if he could double check for me because I don't want another black truck and if not black... could he please call me back and he said he would. I never received a call back. The following day I called back and left a message with receptionist and again, I did not receive a call back. I thought, "well maybe you're wrong, it's black & no reason for them to call back". Two weeks later on a different site I saw the truck posted and color was listed again as black & it bothered me because I was darn sure it wasn't black. So I paid $24.95 to get a vehicle report, vin details etc. Sure enough I was correct and the truck is Titanium Rush Metallic. I then called and left a voicemail for sales manager, didn't get a call. Two days later, called and left message with receptionist explaining the situation and I'd appreciate a call back to "try and put a deal together". That was 2 days ago and have not received a call, nor do I expect to. Disappointing that someone can't simply acknowledge an error or an oversight on their part with the motivation of closing a 70k+ sale, how do you Alm would handle any problem or concern with the vehicle after the sale was complete? You might want to give that some thought before you purchase ?!?!? I'll keep searching, another truck will no doubt show up and my guess is that dealer will happily accept a wire transfer and get it off they're lot.
