  • Bait and Switch - DO NOT TRUST

    DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER! They mislead with false advertisements of Certified Pre-Owned posted on the car's window, license plate and internet websites and then have no intention of honoring the used car warranty. This is classic Bait and Switch leading to believe you were going to receive a 2 year/24k warranty only be told at the last minute that the car was not eligible for the warranty. Yet they still had web sites showing Certified Pre-Owned as well as labels on the car. DO NOT TRUST this dealer, Bait and Switch for used car warranties. Then as a final insult, they offered to Sell Me a warranty instead of honoring their advertisements and providing the warranty as part of the cost. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER!

  • Great experience with buying CPO car

    I had a good experience with buying a CPO Jetta from this dealership. I got a good value on my trade and they were able to give me a good deal on my Jetta. I had some issues with checking the loan check to them which they were accommodating. When I took the car home, I noticed that one of the under panels on the inside of the car was loose and making a rattling noise and JP the GM and the service manager took care of it with a quick fix when I came back to the dealership to give them the check. Thanks for everything and will definitely look to do more business with these guys when I am in the market for an Atlas in a couple years!

  • Nightmare New Car Experience - Go Elsewhere!

    As a personal code of ethics, I like to try to give the business an opportunity to right their wrong before leaving a public review. Unfortunately, we gave Nalley VW a week’s worth of opportunities to do right by us and left today after a half hour meeting with the GM with nothing more than an apology. The new car experience and excitement was taken away from us and on top of that, we now have a repaired vehicle rather than the new vehicle we purchased. If you’re thinking of giving this dealership your business, then buckle your seat belt (hopefully it’s not a VW seatbelt) and listen to the tale of the hellacious first week of owning a new car from Nalley VW. I bought a top of the line Atlas on 1/21. I test drove and purchased the car at night and didn’t notice the scratch all the way across the mirror. I should’ve never driven the car home. Upon arriving home with said new car, the odometer stated that the car had almost 100 more miles than the paperwork stated (the GM would later offer me 20 cents per mile reimbursement stating that as industry standard. Better check with the IRS on that one). I returned 2 days later for installation of upgraded wheels I had purchased and was told this would be a 45 min appt. 6 hours later, I’m leaving the dealership. But wait! The remote start button doesn’t work. Back to service it goes. As I pull off the lot, I notice a gash in the leather steering wheel and immediately return to show them that they’ve damaged the car. As I wait, I hear them arguing over which department’s budget will cover the cost of this damage. No one will call the GM as I’m told he leaves at 5 pm every day and I’m sent home in tears with a damaged steering wheel on my “brand new” car. I sent the GM an email that night and receive a response in the morning full of apologies and remedies so it won’t happen to others. On Friday (after purchasing the car on Tuesday, bringing it in for wheels and paint repair and a fix for the remote start on Thursday), the tire pressure light comes on. Saturday the check engine light comes on. I contact the GM and they offer us a loaner until they can fix my “new” car. Today, exactly a week after purchasing a new car, my husband and I went in to discuss what our options are with the GM. My car buying experience was ruined, my new car is no longer new, and it has depreciated significantly because of the damage and having more miles on it than their paperwork stated. John Prattes asked what would make me feel whole as a customer. I felt that a reasonable ask here was for them to replace my vehicle with a new one just like it or look up the value of my car today and refund the amount that vehicle has depreciated in a week’s time. John responded in a harsh and condescending manner about how I “felt entitled to thousands of dollars” and how he absolutely could not do either of those options for me. He then proceeds to tell me a story about his daughter’s VW stranding her and her children at night in a small town (maybe not the best story to tell customers who already are concerned about the reliability of the car they just purchased) and how even then, his daughter didn’t feel entitled to what I was asking for. Apparently, I have a lot of audacity to pay for a new vehicle and want a new vehicle or want to want a refund making what I pay equivalent to what I own (purchased a new vehicle and was returned a repaired vehicle) . John has equal audacity to offer us a gift card to dinner for our trouble. Nalley VW mission statement is plastered on every wall and I didn’t see a glimpse of what their executives state they’d like for customers to experience. Buying this vehicle has become my biggest regret and I’m not sure how this dealership has stayed in business with the unethical operation they run and the poor experience they give. At the end of the day, they’ve repaired the damage they’ve done and the mechanical issues which are warrantied but have done nothing but offer me an apology for my time invested and their unethical business practices.
    • Updating this review to 4 stars: after significant pursuit of a satisfactory resolution, the corporation responded and made this purchase and experience altogether better. I can now say with confidence, that despite some initial poor handling at the dealership level, Asbury Automotive Group stands behind their vehicles and more importantly, behind their mission statement and made me feel like a valued customer. I sincerely appreciate their efforts in coming to this resolution!

    What a friendly group of people. We had a great experience with Sylvia as our Sales person. The sales manager and finance manager were incredible as well. All in all, I highly recommend the dealership!

    My wife and I bought a new '15 Touareg from Nalley. I thought they had very good follow-up, and the New Car Sales Manager Alek worked with me to make things work out. Over the course of the two days I spent there, I met the GM Mike Smith, and worked with several others in the sales/finance department that made the transaction very smooth and pleasurable. I'd certainly go back again and highly recommend Nalley to anyone in the market for a Volkswagen.

    So we decided to get a new car. We ended up liking a used car. We found the car at Nalley, my wife took our kids to look at the car yesterday and I met them at the dealer after they had been there for an hour. My kids sat there looking at cars etc. While we went through the purchase in every step we knew what was happening. Our sales associate heard the kids say they were hungry. He actually went and got them food. The sales manager really made sure we being treated correctly. I would buy a car from them again, just because of the two gentlemen I dealt with. As we were leaving, I thanked both of them. Both of them said your kids were fantastic through the whole process you should be proud of them. They are a very family committed organization.

    From start to finish, this dealer went out of his way to find us the perfect used car for my daughter. They were not high pressure and gave me a much better price then I could find anywhere else I looked including Carmax. Well done!

    I bought a used 2011 Jetta SEL this past weekend. Ron was my sales rep and Rodney did the financing. Both were friendly and knowledgable. But even more so, both gentlemen were very respectful and wanted to make sure I left with a good car and the right payment plan. I would recommend Nalley VW to anyone looking for a car.

    I think I've found the "Dream Team" over at Nalley Volkswagen which consists of Troy D. (Sales Manager), Mary S. (Financial Consultant) and sales persons, Mario and Maria. Together they worked to get me a great deal on a fully loaded, GL Mercedes SUV at a competitive price. My experience was much better than expected as I don't usually don't like the process of buying a new vehicle, especially being a woman as there are some sales people who will try to take advantage of women. Well, that didn't happen here with the "Dream Team" over at Nalley Volkswagen. I was very pleased with my buying experience and would recommend them to anyone seeking to buy a car. I want to give a very special thank you to Troy D. for making it all happen.

    Just yesterday I drove home in my new 2014 Passat TDI SE. My sales rep. Willbert R. was every helpful and easy to work with. He was very knowledgeable with the the car and was able to answer all my questions right off the bat. I came in with a very tight budget and he did the best he could to help me drive home with a new car while at the same time staying as close to my budget as possible. He was very attentive to me while I was there unlike my last visit to a different dealership where they just sat there playing on their phone while I tried to broke down their price. Willbert instead helped me figure my numbers and was there the whole time. He also gave me a follow up call today to check up on me and to answer any questions I may have after leaving the dealership. This is my first Volkswagen ever but with experienses like this, I can say it won't be my last. The car is too new for me to say how well it will hold up but the service was great!! Keep up the great work Willbert R.

    This past weekend I purchased a new Passat TDI SEL Premium. My entire experience was handled very professionally. Ron Y. was my sales rep. Ron helped me on 3 different visits as I tried to make my decision with input from my adult son and wife. Ron did a great job of reading our body language and verbal clues so he knew when to offer information and when to just let us discuss with my family. When I selected the car and made the decision to move forward, Ron introduced me to his finance manager Paul Mitchell. Paul was a pleasure to work with and handled all of the paperwork with little fanfare. Ron and Paul not only impressed my wife and I as being good at what they do but also as being genuinely good men. If their generation follows in their footsteps the world will be a better place. Thanks again to Ron and Paul for a fantastically refreshing experience.

    With the wonderful help of Mario and Silvia I drove out with a 2014 Jetta TDI! The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating and kept me confident that my first car purchase was a great one. I highly recommend the dealership and especially Mario and Silvia if you're looking for a VW (which you should be!).
