If you're in the market for a car, Id give it another try. Many of those dealerships are now owned by the same company (Lithia Motors). So big inventory available between dealers
This Hyundai dealer had the sales process down. Simply… refuse to pay the extra fees.
If they want to sell cars, they will remove them with little resistance
Those tactics are coming to an end regardless

0 Stars - Would not recommend -Buyer Beware
by Grossi on 05/08/20230 Stars - Would not recommend -Buyer Beware Neither the salesperson nor the Finance Manager disclosed the excessive fees added to our used car purchase: $1999 Certification fee, $1663.81 Reconditioning fee, $1999 Perma Plate fee, no one… ever advised of the cost; the only fee their website specifies an amount for is the dealer fee of $1199, so we expected that even though no one mentioned that either. Almost $7000 in fees on a car advertised for $17750. No wonder they would not talk to us about the loan term, rate, or the out-the-door price... every time we asked, they only wanted to talk about the monthly payment, and we were even told my other questions were "a different conversation." Really? We relented, assuming it would all be discussed eventually, but it was not. After over 4 hours, we were worn down and we admit, we forgot to ask to see the Truth in Lending disclosures... our responsibility. But was it not THEIR JOB to advise us of fees, and to go over the Truth in Lending disclosures with us? Looking over the contract that night, it appeared to us they had overcharged us for the "cash price" of the car. We went back the next day to discuss, and that was the first time we were told about all these fees, which had been rolled into the "cash price"... only the dealer fee was itemized on the contract. They also insisted we were shown the TIL disclosures and the full list of fees, which we absolutely were not. They were our best friends the day before, but now they they were rude and condescending. We did not go in angry, but we left angry after the GSM told me, "We can stop this conversation right now, you signed a contract, you're not going to hear what you want to." Not that they even asked us what we wanted. So he's right, we signed, and we stupidly trusted them despite their deceptive and high pressure tactics. This is the only car buying experience we've ever had go sour.
