It ended up being a great experience - no pressure and we are loving our brand new Explorer! Andy Maleszka was great to work with. by halfdragon on 07/21/2016The worst car buying experience we have ever had! Sarasota Ford has a flashy website that looks good and promises a lot, but their behavior was so stereotypical shady car dealer that I didn’t think existed any more. We started the day at… another dealership that offered a fair price but the vehicle was not exactly the colors we wanted, which Sarasota Ford claimed to have on the lot at a good price. After multiple discussions with different people there, we took the long drive down to purchase our new vehicle, financing in-hand and having already completed a test drive elsewhere. READY TO BUY. Everyone at Sarasota Ford was nice and pleasant until you ask for a purchase sheet. Then you find out that Sarasota Ford’s promises are as good as a drunk high school prom date. Sarasota Ford’s online “Promise Price” is only a promise until you tell them you’re coming in, then they will raise the price on their website and act like they’re doing you a favor by honoring the original price when you arrive, and only because you have the old price in writing from them. Sarasota Ford’s “Promise Price” (that they will tell you on the phone/email is their “PROMISE PRICE” that everyone gets with no rebates to qualify for, and there may even be more rebates you can get,) only is promised until you arrive and you no longer quality for a REBATE that is 1/3 of their “Promise Price”. Sarasota Ford’s sales people will promise you when you ask about additional charges that the only others fees to get an out-the-door price on their “Promise Price” is tax, tag, dealer doc, but will then add an $800 “appearance package” to the total, for “window tint” and “door edging” that isn’t on the vehicle. Sarasota Ford’s sales people will tell you to “look at the website” when you ask what vehicles are on the lot in that model (no need to provide customer service anymore thanks to the Internet!) then when you arrive, will tell you that half of the vehicles on the website are not at the dealership, because the website “takes a few days to update”. Sarasota Ford promises they’ll beat any other dealer’s written offer by $1000 or pay you $1000 but will then claim to not be able to come close or will use a color difference or $120 option difference to not honor their guarantee. Sarasota Ford will promise you a $100 gift card to make the long drive down to see them, but that email gift card will never materialize. Sarasota Ford “promises to make your car buying experience hassle-free every step of the way” but the only thing that Sarasota Ford can promise you is a waste of time and a bad morning-after hangover. After taking five hours out of our afternoon, we went back to the original dealer and bought the other vehicle. Lesson learned.Great service

We were on a timeline and when we first visited another volume dealer we were horribly disrespected. So, after discussing on the phone… with Sarasota Ford we decided to make the hour and a half drive down there to take a look at their inventory. We were met by Al B and to say he is the best salesman I have ever worked with would be an understatement. He worked with us diligently to find the perfect F150! I can honestly say if it wasn't for him, we would not have been able to get into the exact truck that we wanted. I will recommend Al B at Sarasota Ford to every single person I know. Car buying is stressful, but with Al, it was a breeze.Happy customer

I had met Noah when I became intrigued with the new 2015 F150's coming out and though he knew I couldn't trade in my '13 F150, he still took the time and we learned a great deal… from each other. When it came time to buy another car for my significant other, we walked into Sarasota Ford and requested Noah and was happy to see he still worked there. Though this was our last stop (unplanned) after a rough day of shopping, we soon found out we should have stopped here first. Once Noah found out what we were looking for, draft check ready, it didn't take long for his natural genuine care to find the perfect car for us. This car had just come in, was still in the back lot but once we saw it, we were sold. Noah's knowledge of not only Ford cars, but each individual car package & features is incredible. He explained every feature of the car and made note of all of my concerns (paint, broken parts, tires, brakes) and offered to make everything to our satisfaction including new tires & brakes along with a paint touch-up in their detail center. We were sold instantly. Noah was easy to contact (even will text you back) both before, during and after the sale. Not to mention the fantastic team at Sarasota Ford and the cafe, movie room (which is incredible), FOUR Uastro2 Massaging chairs (look them up), a wonderful Saltwater tank made by an old local business SeaScape Aquariums...this dealership should be a shining icon of dealerships to be. If you're in the area looking for a car, stop by Sarasota Ford and just walk into the showroom and ask for Noah. While he finds your perfect car, explore and have a good time. We will be back again. I was trading in my car to update to a new 2015 model and had spent a day and a half just test driving and going over… options with Noah. Noah not only ran around in the hot summer days looking for the perfect vehicle for me MUSTANG GT, but also assisted me in finding the best appraisal for my trade in and best payment plan. I am so glad that i ran into Noah when i walked in, He is the type of sales associate who will come in on his day off so that he could help me get my car mats and paper work finished even though he had already finished his part of the job. Which he stated to me "I will be here for you throughout the life of your vehicle" to help you and perhaps get ready so that i can get into that Rouch R1 or GT 5.0 in the next couple of years. I was very determined in getting a Mustang but have decided to get THe Focus ST which never would have been a vehicle id pick out but after i drove it i was in love and the price was right for me at the time. Anyway if you want an honest salesman, friend, or just guidance in purchasing a new vehicle look for NOAH SCHNEPPER at Sarasota Ford. He will not only trully dedicate his time to you and your purchase, but he will commit to finding you the right vehicle at the price you want. I dont usually like to be so open with sales associates but i would have to tell you his title for me after spending an hour with him is now Friend and mine LOYAL CLient. ITs a new place with a movie theater, massage chairs and a custom vehicle department 707 Performance who will customize your new vehicle to power up the HP or make it look real sweet. I am very pleased with my experience, i have purchased many pre owned vehicles at other dealers and trully was not as satisfied as purchasing my first new car with only 10 miles on it. By the way the day i was test driving one of the mustangs Brian Johnson showed up with his Richard Petty Stang to get it serviced before he was headed out to Jersey for a concert, who would of thought you would meet the LEAD SINGER of AC/DC while at Sarasota Ford.
