Scam
by Bktnazaruk13 on 01/26/2017Scam alert. This place subscribes to dishonest advertising. The scratch off mailers are borderline sick, preying on the average person's hopes and excitement. How can you honestly feel that you'll make a sale to someone by luring them in… with false promises. Once you have to reveal your scam, you REALLY think their next thought is "Oh, you duped me. Guess I'll just buy a car since I'm already here.". Who is the genius running your marketing department? All you earn yourselves is a place on my family and friends' black list. We will never buy from you, will never recommend you and will avoid you at all costs. We would literally drive 2 states away to avoid your dishonest dealership. Hope you choose to partake in honest sales someday. Until then, you deserve NO ONE'S business. ✌[non-permissible content removed]
by PasToutLa on 07/28/2016[non-permissible content removed]! Unfortunately, I bought a vehicle here. The song and dance was well presented. Above and beyond what you see on the sticker, there is this sneaky little thing they call Dealer Add-ons that they charge… handsomely for. I asked what was included, and was given the list of items included (some of which would be considered physical accessories to be added onto the vehicle). When the deal was completed, I paid for the Dealer Add-ons, and I paid quite a bit for them. The catch was, we do not have anyone here today that can install them, so you will need to call back tomorrow and schedule a time to have them installed. I called back the next day, and was told I was not getting the Add-ons that they were removed from the deal. What? I paid for them, yet now I am told I am not getting them because they were removed from the deal? Unfortunately, I did not get the complete and detailed itemized list of what was to be included with my new vehicle; I messed up by believing and trusting the lying salesmen - which included the Sales Manager. Without having it in writing, it seems I dont have a legitimate complaint. Sure, I complained all the way up to the brand (Nissan Corp) customer service. It did no good. The sales staff (including the Sales Manager) are [non-permissible content removed]! I do not know how they look themselves in the mirror. I will never never never do business with them again! Anytime anyone asks me about my new vehicle, I tell them my story and I strongly suggest they take their business to another dealership. Just google nissan of st augustine reviews and see for yourself. Lots of low ratings. Lots of unhappy customers. I wish I had looked at the reviews before they suckered me out of my hard earned money.[violative content deleted] and Unscrupulous Beings...
by consumermoe on 05/29/2010Seems as the theme at Nissan of St. Augustine is to lie even when the truth would serve them just as well or better. Jesus (Mexican not English pronunciation), "PROMISES" you everything you want to hear and delivers much much less. Gave… me the feeling that I was in a third world country being scammed by street hoodlums. Tried to sell me a demo in lieu of a new car. Would a reasonable consumer consider a "new" car to have 400 miles on it? I guess I should feel fortunate that I didn't get stuck with a wrecked vehicle like the other reviewer. Do you see a pattern here? It took me a few contacts with them to determine whether they were stupid, ignorant or arrogant. During my final contact, I became convinced that they were all three mixed with a bit of [violative content deleted]. They try to lure you in with their bogus "Lifetime Warranty", in which a victim (consumer) would pay dearly thru mandatory service fees to comply. IMHO, Jesus and his band of [violative content deleted] should be tarred and feathered and run out on a rail. You've been warned! My experience with Nissan of St. Augustine
by superme83 on 09/03/2009My experience with Nissan of St. Augustine was HORRIBLE....! I went in to Nissan to take advantage of the Clunker deal...I decided on the 2009 Nissan Altima. While looking at the car I was planning to purchase, the salesman kept opening… the trunk, I didn't think anything of it. After signing all the contracts and paperwork, they handed me the keys and said "Congratulations and oh by the way we JUST noticed the trunk has some damage, BUT we already ordered the new trunk and we'll fix it ASAP..." I was upset at first, but at least they ordered it already...I brought the car home and noticed the bumper had damage also...I brought the car back the next day for the repairs and to tell them the bumper needs to be changed as well, everyone's attitudes changed, the man whom sold me the car was very very nasty. I had just brought the car back and told them about the bumper and to get me out of their hair they said oh yeah we ordered that as well. I spoke to a manager and told him what was going on and he was like "oh I know what car you're talking about, it came off the truck like that, everyone knows it was like that"...I asked if they can give me another car with no damages, but they said because it was a clunker, they could not do that..Fine...3 days later I called to find out the status of the car, they told me they would call the body shop and then call me back, never got that call back, I called the next day, everyone was busy, I left messages and still no returning phone call...I finally got in touch with the owner Todd Sheppard and he was absolutely no help at all, he is a [violative content deleted]...at this point I am sooo fed up, I just want out of this deal i had already paid off the car....the following day I got in touch with someone and they gave me the name and phone number of the body shop, I called them myself and they told me they finished the repairs and the car will be at Nissan that afternoon, that evening I went to pick up the car and THANK GOD I had brought my son in law, he looked at the trunk and saw it was the same damaged trunk, it had been repaired with bondo, there were paint chips and sand paper scratches everywhere, and they put the metal Nissan logo and name of that car back on with a hot glue gun and the glue drippings were all over the edges of the lettering..The floor mats had grease all over them and the car smelled like crap...I WAS PISSED...! They seemed to think it was ok...I told the service manager I paid for a new car and I want a new car with new parts....I feel I was robbed of the joys that come with purchasing a new vehicle...I was taken advantage of. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP...EVER...!Very BAd Experience
by lestersunny on 12/23/2012updated 08/02/2025I spoke with N, who is the Internet Sales Representatie and explained what type of Nissan Frontier I wanted. She gave me a price, and I told her that Coggin Nissan of Jacksonville had offered a better price, and she said would get with her… sales manager and get back with me. She contacted me and matched their price, and said that the vechile included extra features along with the tow package. When I arrived, I met her and she passed me off to another sales person named C. He let me test drive the vechile and I noticed that their was not a tow package. C stated that the tow package would cost another $495. I agreed to the price and he turned everything over to the finance manager, B. It took B over 5 hours to get the paperwork ready. This is no lie. We arrived at 1:45 and did not not leave until 6:40. B was very rude and we almost left after 4 hours. But he appoligized and we agreed to stay. When we closed on the document, he gave us papers to sign and we read them. As were signing the documents, he told us that he got us a 4.49% interest rate and it included, 3 years of free oil changes and 60,000 mile extended warranty. But at the end of the signing, B stated that we need to sign the papers through the computer, so he could send them to Nissan. He stated that they were the same things that we had already signed just on the computer. There was no way to read these documents, just a small box for our signature. He printed these documents and placed them in the folder with the other documents. The next day I looked at all of the documents including the documents from the computer. The 3 years of free oil changes and the 60,000 mile extended warranty cost and extra $1,328.00. B put this on the computer contract and never told us about the price. I called B and told him that I wanted to cancel this and get a refund. He stated that I would need to come back in and resign everything again. I remined him that I live 2 1/2 hours away and I did not want to drive back and then wait another five hours for him to get the paper work ready. I told him that I would call Nissan and find out if there was a better way. I called Nissan, and they said that B could just fax the paper work to me and let me sign it and then fax it back. I called B and he faxed it to me and then I faxed back to him. I then called him and asked him did he get the fax, and he said who is, I hd to give him my name again and remind him of the fact that I wanted to cancel the extended warranty. B then said, oh yea, I did get you fax. DO NOT but from these people. This is the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. Buy from anyone but Saint Augustine Nissan. I usually do not put reviews online, but I want everyone to know about this place. I have also contacted Nissan and let them know as well. I would advise everyone to contact Nissan and let them know about the bad experience they have had with this placeMade it Easy
by happybob1 on 04/11/2013updated 08/02/2025After receiving alot of bad information at Beck Nissan in Palatka I went to Nissan of St Augustine. I had already test drove the new Sentra and was pretty sure it was for me, but I needed to know if all that was told me in Palatka was able… to be done. I met Aron H. upon arrival and told him my story. We immediately went out to the lot to see if there was a Sentra for me. I had many things I'd like to see in the car and just as easy as that we found one with all the add-ons I wanted. Now I expected to get the back and forth to the sales manager's office shuffle and boy was I surprised. Aron came out with a deal that discounted the price, and qualified for a rebate and I received 36 month no interest financing. At this point I did see the Sales manager, but just to assure me the dealership was making a name for themselves and I can see why. The next day I returned to make the purchase and Bob V., the Finance Director who walked us through the paperwork couldn't have been more helpful. He gave us all kinds of tips to save money now and in the future. There was no pressure, just presentation and decisions. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the Vehicle, The Price or the service we received at Nissan of St Augustine.
