awful salesman-awful dealer
by unbelievable on 01/09/2018I went for a test drive with a salesman that was extremely pushy and after driving one half mile I told him I had found out what I wanted to know about the car and turned on my signal light to turn around and go back to the dealership. The… salesman literally came unglued. He grabbed the steering wheel and shouted NO at me and shouted NO you can't turn, you must follow my route (which was several miles) and I could not go back to the dealership until I had completed the route. That I must continue the route. I told him I would not continue and if he wanted to follow his route he would have to drive. I got out of the car at this point and he drove the car several miles around his "route" that he had to follow. He and his dealership was unbalanced in my opinion. I'll never return to this dealer.Patient and Friendly, wonderful service!

I lost my car to mechanical failure the day before Thanksgiving and was forced to spend my meager savings (that I'd accrued since reviving a promotion in… September) on the remaining cost to tow my car that my insurance did not cover and on a rental car to make it to work until the next day I had off - that was not a holiday. So I needed to find a car that I could finance for pretty much nothing down. Not only did they help me with that, I drove away with a car I really love and with some advice to help bringyou loan out of subprime in a year. Great staff, thanks again Todd for all your advice and for being so wonderfully patient with me!!Excellent Car Buying Experience

My salesperson at Coggin Honda was Brandi Moore, a very knowledgeable and friendly person.There was never any pressure to buy something I wouldn't be happy with. She… asked some basic questions for what I was looking for and presented the best deals she had for my price range and requirements. Found a perfect match at the Coggin Acura for me and had it ready to test drive when I arrived. She filled the tank and had it detailed while we were doing the contract and paperwork. No unnecessary delays which created a very friendly, professional and time saving experience. After my first 10 minutes Brandi treated me more like a good friend than a customer. I would recommend Coggin Honda to anyone looking for a good deal with a pleasant experience and especially recommend Brandi. She has earned my business for all my future vehicle purchases. The sales manager and finance manager were also very helpful and didn't try any high pressure tactics, but I can't say enough good things about my sales person. My wife and son were also very impressed with Ms Moore and are planning to purchase more vehicles in the next month or so from her, with all the different brands Coggin offers, I'm sure Ms Moore will find the perfect choices for them also. by T3F on 08/29/2014We were in the market for a fuel efficient SUV or crossover and our research showed that the Honda CR-V would be a good candidate. We test drove the CR-V at Coggin and were pleased with the vehicle but then noticed the Honda… Crosstour. After a test drive with our dealer representative, Linda F, we decided to pursue a deal for the car. Linda was very knowledgeable and personable. There were never any high pressure tactics from Linda or anyone at the dealership. I refuse to buy from a dealer who tries to pressure a customer into a purchase. Coggins offered a very competitive price on the Crosstour even before evaluating our trades (yes we were trading two vehicles) which communicated to me that they were not playing games. After some spirited negotiations (I love to negotiate) on the trade allowances and more research on my part we closed the deal. We were and are very pleased with all aspects of the experience. Coggins Honda has shown me that they wanted to earn my business for life and not pressure me into a one time deal that I might later regret. This is a dealership that will get serious consideration anytime I am in the market for a vehicle. I can't stress enough how friendly and low pressure the buying experience has been. Thank you, Linda, Jim, Bill and Victor. Horrible Experience

It's people like that at Coggin Honda that give the "car salesman" the bad reputation they have. After assuring me they would be in the ball park of… what I was looking to pay, the salesman switched on to smart a$$ mode and asked "did you really think you were going to get the car for that amount"... mind you, the amount I was looking to negotiate was not ridiculous as he made it sound. Looking to buy two basic Accords and looking to pay roughly 700 a month for both with money down. Oh well their loss. Then the old key trick, "we need your keys to check your trade in"... I almost had to call the police because the hoard of salesmen had no idea where my key was when I wanted to leave. I wish I could remember the name of the salesman to wan you. Funny enough I saw him at Sam's club arguing with the clerk at the credit counter about having to pay to renew his membership. My wife and I have a nice nickname for Coggin, I'll let you imagine what it is :) Sincerely, I would not recommend going there.Bad experience
by someonespecial on 02/17/2010I would never recommend Coggin Honda of Fort pierce to anyone. I personally could and would have bought a vehicle from them but they were so rude and unprofessional. I even tried to switch from one sales representative to another they were… all rude not just one of them. I was very disappointed especially with Linda Friedrich who is the Internet Sales Manager... The contract was written up and signed and the check even accepted and just before all the paperwork was done they decided they had made a mistake. The out the door price… was actually plus tax tag and title. They refused to honor their own contract. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.Love My HOnda

Bought a new Honda, basically over the intenet. Transaction was ably handled by Ricardo Scarlett. Pricing was EMailed… to me, I agreed and visited the dealership. A vehicle was located and then Ricardo delivered the car to me at my home the next day. Who could ask for anything more. Joe the Manager and Courtney the salesman along with Lauren, couldn't of made this… easier. This is my 4th CRV and my wife will go back to get her 5th Civic in June. I also helped my dad lease a car and Coggin was very good with him as well. I would absolutely recommend Coggin. Go no futrther!! They are balways willing to help you get the best deal!Good guys, fair deal
by chriskmiles on 02/02/2012updated 08/04/2025I'm surprised to see some of the negative reviews for Coggin's sales department, since I have always received professional, courteous service there. They are salesmen, and they're there to sell cars, so sometimes they may be a… little....well.... "pushy" isn't fair-- "eager" and "confident" would be a better way to describe it. Honda makes an excellent product, and Coggin offers that product at a fair price. If I was selling cars for them, I'd be confident and eager too, since I would know that I was giving that customer a great product. My most recent transaction was a lease, on a 2010 Civic, and I was very pleased with the deal I got. There was a nationally advertised Honda internet campaign that was slightly better than what Coggin was offering at the time. I called to inquire, they told me to print out the deal and come right down. Once at the dealership, the salesman was extremely pleasant to deal with, professional and courteous. I had to do just a little bit of "haggling" over the final figures and terms of the lease, but the Coggin staff conducted themselves very patiently and professionally during that negotiation, and we finished up with smiles and handshakes all around. I've bought many cars from many places, and I can honestly say that Coggin is one of my favorite groups to deal with.Purchase Honda Accord

He is the best I have ever worked with! Max in finance found us a better deal than what we had and saved us… a lot of money! Great team of people....down to the nice young lady at the front desk, who was very friendly and had a wonderful smile....all the time! Decided to try again in 2013 and it was as if there was an entire new staff. The sales man "Todd" was extremely undertsanding… to my needs, patient, professional and courteous.
