My purchase of a 2025 Toyota Tundra

I was greeted professionally and without pressure by Ryan, the CFS Manager, who asked about my needs and he provided solid advice on a potential truck that would fit and was in their current inventory. He turned me over to Joey who did a great job explaining the vehicle features and took me on a test drive. It was a positive / no pressure interaction with both people. The Tundra they introduced was a perfect fit, I received a fair deal and drove it out the same afternoon. All around great buying experience.

    I will never go to Autonation Toyota again. They charged me for 7 quarts of oil when my truck took 6 they would not even look for a noise without charging me 199.00. Stay away from them. You are warned. That’s my honest opinion. Stay away

    I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your dealership, with the sole exception of the collision center, which provided excellent support. Initially, I worked with a salesperson named Bobby, who was professional and genuinely helpful during the car selection process. I was eager to purchase a 2025 vehicle and was later directed to complete the transaction through your finance department. I was informed by your team that my loan through my bank had been approved, and I left the dealership with the vehicle under that understanding. However, three weeks later, I was contacted and informed that the loan had not been fully approved. I received a call from a phone representative who was unprofessional in tone and insisted that I return to the dealership immediately. After multiple follow-ups, the Director of Finance, Morgan, explained that my loan had not gone through and that a new system might be attempted. Despite the confusion, he advised me to continue driving the car while they sorted out financing. Roughly a week and a half later, I was contacted by another finance manager, Michael, who insisted that I now make a down payment in order to finalize the purchase. I explained that I did not have the available funds, and that my previous purchase through your dealership required no such down payment. Due to the miscommunication and ongoing uncertainty, I ultimately chose to cancel the deal. Throughout this process, I experienced a complete lack of clear communication, professionalism, and customer advocacy. Matters were further complicated when I requested the return of my trade-in vehicle and was told it would not be released until I returned the new vehicle—which, at that time, was in your service department. The service manager initially offered to release my trade-in vehicle, but this was overruled by dealership leadership. I later spoke with another finance manager, Kai, who assured me that everything was in order and that there were no issues since the car was in service. However, when I followed up with Morgan, he once again refused to release my trade-in. When I asked about transportation to get to work, I was told there were no rental options available and that I would have to pay out of pocket. This entire experience has been frustrating, confusing, and disappointing. What should have been a smooth car-buying process turned into a prolonged ordeal with poor communication and lack of accountability across multiple departments. Regrettably, this experience has resulted in the loss of my business, and I will not be recommending your dealership to others. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the quality of customer service for future clients. Sincerely, Tyler Goss

  • Oil & filter change

    I had an oil change and filter. Also rotated tires. Also overall safety inspection. Work is good, it took about 1 and a half hour. The cost was almost $200.00 which I think is getting to be to high and overpriced. I will be looking for a less expensive alternative.

    Was there for over 3.5 hrs for 15K mile service which basically was an inspection. I did have an appointment Did find both front tires had nails in them. At this point I’m not sure I trust that they actually did. But I have road hazard insurance so there was no out of pocket for me and the tires were replaced. I had to listen to Chantal the service rep explaining that half their shop was shut down, blah, blah. Went I left and finally found my car, the low tire pressure light was on. I walk back in and Chantal tells me I have to drive around a bit and it will go off. I’ve NEVER had to do that but I went back out and drove 4 miles and got up to 50 mph. Still on. So I go back in, Chantal holds out her hand for my keys and gets in and starts the car. I asked her if she didn’t believe me that the light was on. She said no I’m taking it back in. She drove off before I could get my purse and house keys and left me standing in the service area. After about 15 minutes she came to the waiting room and handed me the keys. I got in the car and the light was off but the dashboard had settings on it I had never seen. Took another 15 minutes for me to get my guide out and get it reset. I was very frustrated with the whole experience and will probably go to the Punta Gorda, FL Toyota dealership next time. And just one other weird thing. All the other service writers came to the waiting room to discuss with customers. Not Chantal. She just kept calling me on my cell phone

    I was attended to pretty quick and was showed to the waiting room. The attendant explained that all my car needed was tire rotation which would take about an hour. I asked if someone could help get rid of the annoying message on my dash boards reenactment prompting me to register for Toyota navigation program. The attendant told me someone from sale would help me after my car is ready. The person who tried to help me with it afterwards was not able to solve the problem and explained that that subscription cost approximately $160/month which is outrageous. He didn’t know how to remove this distracting prompts and suggesting calling Toyota, but didn’t have a phone number where I should call. So, I still have it taking over my screen way too often what makes me VERY UNHAPPY! I don’t want to subscribe to this program. Another annoying problem is that after tire rotation the little screen above the steering wheel changed and shows my settings instead of what I was used to, like the mode, and after stopping how much miles I was making per gallon. I don’t know how to change it back, do have to go back to Toyota dealership.

    The time had dome for us to do a vehicle upgrade. We decided on getting a low-mile pre-pandemic RAV4 because of the issues that multiple manufacturers have had with new vehicles. I am very particular about what I want in a car (color, features, trim, etc.), and I found a very close match at AutoNation Toyota. Even though we live almost 600 miles away, it was worth the journey there. Our salesperson, Roberta Billing, worked with me on most of the details even before I made the trip to ensure that everything would be easy once I arrived. She even picked me up at the RSW airport and gave me a ride in. She is quite knowledgeable of Toyota's products and was able to answer my questions, even the more detailed ones. She also was able to arrange financing on surprisingly good terms. She had no problem with me wanting to have a pre-purchase inspection done by a local garage and the RAV4 I wanted was exactly as advertised. Completing the final paperwork was a straightforward process, and I had any questions addressed to my satisfaction. I was done in 4 hours (2 of them were just waiting on and getting the inspection), and I was on my way home. A long drive will reveal any car's quirks, but the RAV4 I purchased was a very pleasant ride home. I am looking forward to many years of reliable service from it! Thank you, Roberta, for making my buying experience a very pleasant one and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a Toyota. Likes: Car was found exactly as advertised. Dealership had no issues with me getting an independent pre-purchase inspection. Very competitive price. Dislikes: Dealer prep fee was fairly high. The prep work however was excellent.
