Radiator Defect.. Mercedes and Dealer wont recognize the problem
by anndolly on 07/29/2024"I recently leased a brand-new Mercedes Benz GLE350W4, less than 9 months ago, and experienced a significant Coolant leak a month ago. Instead of addressing the issue promptly and professionally, the customer service at Mercedes Benz of… Fort Lauderdale was nothing short of appalling. Their lack of empathy, incompetence, and disregard for their customer's satisfaction is unacceptable. They told me that the radiator (coolant) leak was not covered under warranty. They believe the leak could have been caused by a rock or something to that nature hitting the radiator and making a small hole to cause a coolant leak to happen. I cannot believe a premium car could have such issues. The quality of the parts they are using is short of a premium brand and the fact that the design of the Radiator could cause damage to happen that easily is beyond me. We drive on the road every day and every day you will encounter road debris on the road. No way of avoiding that. When they assessed the problem and the cause they came back to tell me that I would be responsible for the repair as Mercedes Benz does not cover this damage under warranty. They provided an estimate of over $3000.00 to fix this problem. I tried to address the issue at a local level with the Sales Manager Daryl Jones and he was not helpful at all. In our conversation he went on to dismiss the fact that when the car was being serviced the technicians went on to make the problem worse than what it came in with. Costing over $4000.00 now to fix. I asked to speak to the General Manager and Daryl went on to tell me I needed to speak to his manager. I had never heard back from her, and when I called wanting to speak to the General Manager, they would not connect me as I must follow the chain of command. It has been well over a month, and I have not received any communication back. I made 2 calls to corporate headquarters and was advised that there was nothing that could be done as the dealer is independently owned but, in the meantime, they opened a case to document my concern. Supposedly Corporate has made calls to the dealership to have someone call me and no one has. Upon online investigation I found that this is a known issue with Mercedes Benz as many users have complained about a similar issue. To not address the issue and expect customers to cover the expense is ridiculous. I carefully chose Mercedes Benz. As a proud owner of a luxury vehicle, I expected a higher standard of service. Unfortunately, my experience was far from it. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their choice of dealership and Brand based on my extremely negative encounter.Hello Anndolly, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Purchase of a Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes A220
by CPeterM42 on 01/12/2024My wife and I found a beautiful used 2022 Mercedes A220 for sale at Mercedes Benz of Ft. Lauderdale. After connecting with Todd, a completely professional and courteous sales representative, we found the car, test drove it, and decided to… purchase it (with absolutely NO pressure from Todd). The car was immaculate, with very low mileage. After sitting with Todd to start the paperwork, he returned with even better news...the car was a Certified Pre-Owned car, meaning the car had additional points of inspection, and we automatically received another year of warranty coverage. This made the car irresistible, and we were taken smoothly through the purchasing process (which usually is a long, tedious ordeal). But the staff at MB Ft. Lauderdale did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Throughout the entire afternoon, my wife and I were made to feel like family, and this is amazing, considering we bought a USED car from them, not even new. But their professionalism and warmth made this the best car purchase we have ever made (and we have bought A LOT of cars in our lifetime). We even told our kids that if they are able someday to buy a Mercedes Benz (new or used), to go to MB Ft. Lauderdale for the best experience ever. Battery regulator and front by seat

My special order two tone Maybach had only 1185 miles but must go in for maintenance even though it needed nothing. $1113.00 bill for oil change and washer fluid. Special order 2 tone Maybach Waited 1 1/2 yrs all ruined

After 5 S class cars 2 were AMG and 2 Maybach under no circumstances will I ever buy another and will tell anyone who… will listen about this . Yes even strangers in the elevator. Good chance I will sell this car even though it is perfection and I DID love it. I gave my buddy the GTS yesterday goodbye. Not wanting anything . by MartinFraire on 11/15/2023It is amazing, after many issues when bought to my wife a AMG GLE 63 biturbo V8 high profile vehicule, nobody was able to instruct how to use the equipment of the vehicle. After coming for a service regarding some fuse faileing and small… issues we asked about the toll payment, if there is a service inside the Mercedez features, like I have in another Audi or BMW cars I have... and amazing! NOBODY in the dealer could answer us!!! Even I saw in the internet the feature is available in MB, nodbody could tell us is our NEW vehicle has it or not!!!, OK, could happen, so they told us "Will check deeper and call you back"... NOBODY call back ever... Very bad service... AGAIN, and AGAIN. Amazed by the lack of professionalism of such a big dealer.Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback.
