DONT GO HERE!!!
by Deion M on 07/10/2021DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. DON’T DO IT. Please if you are looking for a vehicle, just don’t even bother going to this dealership. READ MY FULL EXPERIENCE……. I purchased a vehicle from them over a month ago, at first the process seemed easy… and laid back. Not too much pressure but the average car dealership run around. Fine, that’s to be expected from most dealerships. Slick talkers, normal salesman BS. Whatever, I can deal with that. HOWEVER, over a month since my purchase and they still have NOT paid off my trade resulting in past due balances and daily phone calls from my old loan provider. I’m keeping an eye out to see if it hits my credit. Sure, I can fight it obviously but to have to deal with this run around after purchasing a vehicle is RIDICULOUS. Once this was brought to my attention I called the dealership. You would think that they would want to really help out their customer and take the situation seriously…. Didn’t happen. I could barely reach anyone, took days to get a call back. FINALLY, I spoke to someone in finance who laughed the situation off and said my “trade was paid off buddy” and not to worry. A couple more days went by and I received more phone calls from my old loan provider. No payoff. Past due balances on a vehicle I don’t even have anymore. So I called the dealership back again. No answers, I left messages. Finally I got a call back from the GSM Anthony Maccia. The dude is [non-permissible content removed] and I’ll prove it to you…. He talks disrespectfully and uses the excuse of “being pretty black and white” to justify how he talks to customers in a disrespectful manner. Once Anthony got involved he assured me all would be taken care of. He said he would send me a copy of the check to prove the vehicle was paid off and he assured that my old loan provider was wrong… A couple hours later I got the PDF of the check along with a message from Anthony Maccia. Anthony acted as if I was absolutely wrong and they did in fact pay off the vehicle, his “black and white” tone came across as a very disrespectful “told you so”. HOWEVER, here’s the best part…. They sent the payoff (just about $15,000) to the WRONG FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. Yes, you read that right…. They sent a check to the completely wrong place and didn’t even know it…. Probably not a dealership you’d want to work with if they can’t even get a trade payoff right. Once I realized this, I of course called back to bring this to their attention…. NO ANSWER. Finally, I decided obviously this won’t be resolved by phone calls. So I had to drive over an hour to the dealership in order to meet Anthony Maccia in person. Of course, once I showed up he was surprised and asked if I saw his email. His tone of course changed drastically once I was standing in front of him. I brought their error to his attention and he seemed utterly confused and of course said that couldn’t be right until he actually paid attention and realized their error. I’ll give it to him, he did sit there for about 45 mins while we talked to my old loan provider and the institution they sent the money to by mistake. He put gas in my vehicle for the hassle of me having to drive all that way, which I appreciated the nice gesture without me even asking for it. (Although I shouldn’t have even had to go out there to begin with…) Finally after a runaround, it seemed like everyone was on the same page, sort of. Either the wrong institution would send the money to the correct loan provider or the dealership would cut another check and then recoup their money afterwards since it’s THEIR error… Obviously option #2 is the only right thing to do given it’s been 30+ days of no payoff. He assured me it would be handled one way or another and I left the dealership. When something like this happens, I’d expect a call the next day at least to just follow up on how it’s been handled. It’s the least they could do right? After a day of no update, I called and of course got a voicemail. Never received a call back. Anthony Maccia said it was because he was at the auction, which I understand. Fine. But I shouldn’t be tracking down an update to begin with. Mind you having to even go through this with a dealership after purchasing a vehicle from them. Finally almost 3 days after going to the dealership in person, I called and called for an update. Finally, I called and asked for the GM Haitham. Once I did that, I of course received a prompt call from Anthony Maccia after being told he was “working deals” by another salesman earlier. Coincidence?… He of course talked to me with an attitude, telling me he said he was handling it and I should have “good faith”…. Ridiculous. Good faith was obviously lost a while ago on my part, and rightfully so. I continued to ask him how exactly is it being handled? He wouldn’t give me a straight answer other than getting angry and giving more of an attitude. He then finally said the GM Haitham authorized them to send another check electronically to my actual loan provider. He said this as if he was doing me a favor…. Which is outrageous considering all of this was caused in THEIR error. When I continued to remind him of that he would become more of a wise guy and literally ask me “are you perfect or have you ever did anything wrong?”…. First of all, what are you talking about? And secondly, how do they actually let this guy deal with customers? With all this being said, I still couldn’t get a straight answer out of him. My loan provider still hasn’t received any payoff from the dealership and it’s been 3 days since they “electronically sent a new check” to the correct place…. The institution that they sent the payoff to in error stated that they have cancelled the check and are sending the money back to Gary Yeomans Honda…. Seems to me that they are now waiting to payoff my trade until they recoup their funds that they sent in error…. Putting my credit in further jeopardy and making me jump through more hoops later. But again, that’s my opinion and I can’t confirm that since I haven’t received any proof that they actually sent a new check electronically. Which is also crazy. All in all, this situation has been a nightmare. After doing research I’ve seen that I’m not the only one that they have done this too. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I also have to add that I talked to the neighboring dealerships and I’ve literally been told to avoid Anthony Maccia at all costs. One person who worked at another dealership under the same Gary Yeoman name told me “good luck” after I told them I was dealing with Anthony Maccia. He also agreed with me that he is in fact, [non-permissible content removed]. At least THAT, is confirmed. Unlike the payoff on my trade. Also - side note, just to add to the story…. I found out that they already sold my trade in almost 28 days ago. Hopefully they’ll be able to provide a title for it within 30 days considering they haven’t actually paid for it yet and the title doesn’t even belong to them. Not my problem, that’s theirs…. But it goes to show how they operate. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Of course they waited until they sold the trade before they paid it off. What a bogus way to run business and deal with a customer. It was REALLY easy to take my down payment and sell me my new vehicle…. But of course when it’s time for them to pay money they struggle to do so in a timely and professional manner.Refreshing experience
by avanson on 07/26/2018I generally dont look forward to the experience of car buying, however after our recent purchase from Gary Yeomans Honda I feel quite differently. My wife and I had already been to a few other dealerships to try and get an idea of what… sort of vehicle we needed for our growing family and were burned out with the games and deceit. After such a great experience with Gary Yeomans, I wish we would have skipped all the others. Everyone we dealt with, especially our salesman Kyle, was absolute pleasure. We ended up finding the perfect vehicle and were very refreshed after dealing with such a great group of professionals. When the news arises in the future its not even a question as to where we will go and we are very happy to know we dont have to dread the car buying experience again.Purchase of a 2018 Honda CR-V
by misterw on 07/23/2018In this day and age I have found that the overall level and quality of customer service has eroded significantly from what I can recall in the past. However, I suppose my recent experience with the people at Gary Yeomans Honda in Daytona… Beach , Florida was the happy exception that proves the rule. I do not normally submit or respond to surveys, but I feel compelled to acknowledge and give credit to fine people I dealt with at Yeomans Honda. Although, I would like to single out one young man who made the purchase and delivery process of my 2018 Honda CRV Touring SUV one of the best experiences of its kind I can remember. The person I am referring to is Mr Johnathan Ramos of Sales and Leasing at Gary Yeomans Honda in Daytona Beach, FL. John is very professional and exhibited the qualities of a high achiever. He also knows how to earn customer confidence and respect. Sincerely, L. TaylorDo not go!
by laurentaylor7 on 04/23/2018Lets see where do I begin.. first of all Jason was phenomenal. That guy deserves a raise. He worked his ass off. The finance team not so much. Came in looking for something specific and Jason went to extremes to help us. When we went back… to finance 4.5 hours later everything changed. George swore he was giving us a deal while lying about how much a tag is (which his manager tony unprofessionally called him out on in front of us). (***by the way be sure to check your internet rate because they admitted to being upping it by 2% and it being legal. He mentioned that too.) Then when we said no were good on the deal he brought Tony in which kept slamming his fingers down and telling us it was for us, cause they werent making money on the car they could sell it someone else and make more on it. (Which should never be said to a customer) then when we said our 500th no to Tony they finally gave up. And we just wanted to leave. You ready for the best part. It gets REAAAL good. We gave them $2000 CASH deposit (4-50s and 90-20s to be exact) when the deal wasnt what was discussed they said well we cant give you your cash back until Monday. No thats not going to work, we still have to car shop and we work on Monday!? Tf. So I sure did tell them to get our money now. But they dropped it in the safe. And apparently cant open it. They kept saying Monday is when the safe can be opened. Finally a different guy comes out and disrespects my boyfriend by ignoring him completely and kept telling him to stop. While he kept touching my shoulder, which was annoying he finally said theyll come out tomorrow at 1030 to write s check for $2,000, thats not an option we need cash. He came out talking to us like were children and made it seem like they were doing us a favor by having their safe control team come out Sunday at 1030 to open to give us cash. Its not a favor when you were charging 2x kbb price for a car so we didnt want it. And you held our cash. Finally we had to drive 30 minutes back this morning to get our cash. Seems like this finance department sucks from the other reviews I read. So yes, maybe we shouldnt have raised our voice but in their positions they shouldnt have either. Definitely not stopping my complaint here. Just wait. I will never bring my car there for servicing either. These people will never get kind words or referrals about their business from me. My favorite part and Gary might want to know that Tony made sure to assure me that our $2,000 was nothing to them since they make so much daily. (Great job Tony, thats what customers like to hear that their money is nothing to you!)Sales Review
by Scott24 on 04/16/2018Yeomans Honda gave me a great price for my car! The staff were all very supportive. They show that they care, which is rare for the auto industry. My salesman Bob Murphy went above beyond his expected duties to accommodate me! I had a… 5 star experience with everyone there!Purchased a new car
by Stefanie_2008 on 04/07/2018Overall my experience at Gary Yeoman's Honda was very pleasnt. Initially I was less than impressed with the salesman and finance manager I dealt with as they both were high pressure, and fast talking. The finance person had an "I don't… care if you buy this car or not" attitude. I had to leave the dealership before being called back. Once I was called back, I did not have to deal with those two anymore - as I expressed my displeasure with how I was treated up to that point. This is when my experience became five-star. I worked with Albert and Haitham and finally, Victor. All three of these men made me feel like a VIP customer. They clearly wanted my business and wanted to see me in my new Honda CR-V. It was because of them that I purchased a car here. I highly recommend that you visit this dealership and ask for Albert. I trust him and felt like he was not just selling me a car, but an experience. I cannot thank Albert and Haitham enough for making me want to purchase my next Honda at Gary Yeomans - and I don't even live in Florida! Further, Jessica, the customer relations manager, called me twice in the days following my purchase and listened to me discuss my entire experience - bad and good. We spoke for thirty minutes and she even gave me her cell phone number. She was very concerned that my initial experience was not ideal but I told her that once I moved on to Albert, everything turned out great and overall I am a very happy customer. On a final note, I do not write reviews - but this experience was so positive, I felt compelled to write this. Best success on your vehicle purchase!Great staff, great price
by RichChonda on 03/28/2018My second new vehicle purchase in as many years from Yeoman's. Great experience and patient staff. Will return again!Darla Corrales - Gary Yeomans

by Ttkittys on 02/10/2018Steve Boxrud offered exceptional knowledge of our Honda CRV! Very pleasant experience.Awful
by uij781g on 01/08/2018Gary Yeoman's Honda is the perfect example of why dealerships are an antiquated form of business. There is no reason more manufacturers should follow Tesla's model and sell directly to the consumer. This cuts out dishonest, greedy salesmen… and makes the car buying experience so much less painful. Why, after a price is agreed upon, do they try to add back their commission through useless warranties and other inflated goods/services? Honda makes some really solid cars, so it's a shame they're sold through such a disappointing establishment. I'm very satisfied with the product but I'd rather drive an hour or two to the next Honda dealership instead of dealing with this one again.[non-permissible content removed]
by Exsteam on 10/28/2017Gave them a one, couldn’t go any lower.Purchased 2017 Civic, got it home, they forgot to put the plates on.Next checked paperwork, got screwed out of $899.50 the manager named Albert said he would take off of vehicle price. He is one of the… biggest [non-permissible content removed] I have ever met in the car business.BEWARE, take your business elsewhere.Great buying expirience.
by James on 10/10/2017I had an excellent buying experience from Gary Yeoman's. Couldn't be happier with my new Civic Mark Apicella did a wonderful job showing off the car, making us feel welcome, and getting us the best deal possible. Thanks to him we got an… excellent lease deal on a fantastic car. The paper work was handled relatively quickly and the employees were polite and helpful. A good day of shopping ending with me going home happy in my first new car.Great car buying experience
by TH3CHAD on 10/04/2017My name is Chad Rainer and I would like to say that buying a vehicle at Gary Yoemans Honda is the best car buying experience I have had to date. Everyone that I interacted with was courteous an polite not only to me but other customers I… had noticed as well. Mr. Hutchinson who is my salesman was great. I looked at several cars and didn't really feel pressured especially when it came down to the numbers game. I told him where I needed to be and he worked to get me there. The service department was also outstanding as far as touch ups on my new car and seemed like they really cared about you leaving happy. Dale in the service department is who I worked with and I was very pleased, it's always good to do business with people that are willing to go the extra mile as he did. As far as that goes I think the whole team at Gary Yoemans are willing to go that extra mile to make customers happy and that's just good business. If my job doesn't take me elsewhere in the future I will definitely make another purchase from Gary Yoemans. Sincerely, Chad.Jeff is an awesome car salesman!
by MicheleL on 10/03/2017Thank you Jeff for such professionalism and knowledgeable advice. You were a great help and I am very happy with my car. See you next time it comes to buying another car.Bought new CR-V 2017 EX-L , an traded RAV4
by KimGlasco on 09/30/2017My wife and myself liked from the start that we were greeted by Anthony a manager who introduced us to Jeff Gilster, V.I.P. vehicle lease/ Exchange Manager. We did not want any games like other dealers, Jeff promised that would not happen.… He was a straight shooter all the way with price for new CR-V and trade in . They matched another dealers price to make sale happen, but what made us choose Gary Yeoman's was the way we were treated . I am a person who has done all the homework on trade, an new vehicle an knew what I wanted. We were handed over to George Case of Finance who was not pushy, easy going and Quick at what he dose. With that said, it was in and out, keys in hand Jeff sat in CR-V with us and explained all the features before we were to leave. Last we met the General Manage who was friendly, not because of the sale, but because it was his nature, how kind. We have been around the block on car sales an this was by far the best. Thank you to the Team of Gary Yeoman's Honda for a nice addition to our family.GARY YEAOMAN NOVA RD DAYTONA TOPS IN VOLUSIA CO AND CENTRAL FL (THE WORLD?)
