  • Deceptive Terrible Sales C63

    I had a truly frustrating experience at AutoNation Mercedes-Benz of Coconut Creek that I feel others should be warned about. Salesperson David Gardner was very pushy, insisting I submit a credit application to hold a car--even though I clearly said I wouldn't unless the hold was guaranteed 100%. He assured me this was the only way and that manager Locksley Thorpe approved it. After I submitted the application (which triggered a hard credit inquiry), I was even sent a final invoice, making me believe the vehicle was secured. Yet, despite these assurances, the car was sold to someone else. When I followed up multiple times, David promised a manager would contact me, but I never received any response. Only after reaching out to another salesperson did I get a call back hours later with the news the car was gone. The lack of communication, broken promises, and complete disregard for the damage to my credit report is unacceptable. This experience felt deceptive and completely unprofessional -- especially from a luxury brand dealership. I strongly caution anyone thinking of doing business here to think twice before trusting their commitments. This was by far the worst car-buying experience I've ever had.

    I am extremely disappointed at this “luxury dealership”. I’m a client for over 15 years and I just trade in my old lease with them, at the sales point it was all flowers and then the nightmare began. The same day the airbag light turned on, and I had to leave my brand new car at the dealer for another 4 days so they could fix it, then they took a payment that they were not supposed to from my account and I have been trying for a month to have my money back and they refused to refund me. The manager Locksley were VERY rude to me, cutting me off and not letting me explain, then he hang up on me. Now they are blaming on the miles t of tie old car when they accepted the deal as is. Unacceptable I feel robbed and disrespected!

    This was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had with a dealership. My sales manager, Angel, was professional, knowledgeable, and helped me negotiate a great deal. He even followed up, with me after I drove off the lot. I love my new Mercedes! Kudos to Angel, Rene, and the rest of the team at Mercedes-Benz Coconut Creek!

  • Mercedes car quality not so great

    I am disappointed. First time purchasing a brand new Mercedes car, and it's quality was very unsatisfactory. First, two door covers were not properly fitted into the door where was a gap between the door and the plastic frame. (fixed) There were also multiple scratches on the exterior of the car (fixed). On the driver side the handle leather was peeling. The brakes keep on making a thumping noise and the sales mangers told us that all of the new Mercedes GLES brakes make this sound. I don't feel very good with this really loud noise. I also finally got my second key today after waiting a week. I am not sure if this is a big deal but it seems like the dealership took another cars key and reprogrammed it to my car (they didn't dispose of the original tag Which says GLE 350 GREEN) my car is red. Now we are waiting on scheduling an appointment for leather works and brakes check but it taking forever. They don't answer our calls and we always have to come physically to the dealership to get any kind of update. Todays update was wait for the call. I don't have time to be going to the dealership every day to ask for an appointment to get my new car fixed. Overall, I am very sad that my dream car came out like this, I have always believed that Mercedes had the best quality in luxury vehicles, but now I really don't think so anymore.

    Had to add the vehicle to my auto policy before I left the lot which took extra time. Tried to pay for the car with two checks from two accounts and the F &I person said their system wouldn’t allow it. Had to visit two Chase branches to have funds consolidated for one check. The G.M. later apologized profusely indicating they could have accepted one check with the balance paid by credit card. As we were leaving, the salesman gave us the manuals and a key chain missing the second key fab. I found out several days later, to replace the key fab costs $400. Had I known this at the dealership; I would have asked for $400 off the sales price. The salesman sent me an email several days later asking, how the car was running and if I had any questions. I responded if they could replace the missing key fab. The salesmen said he would look into it. After exchanging emails, a month has passed and the salesmen has not responded. Also, the CD player does not work, so much for their 100 point inspection.

  • 3rd Bad experience after leasing a car, with Mercedes Benz

    No, I leased a vehicle on 7/4 and on 7/9 it malfunctioned at 9:50 pm. They did not pick up the vehicle until 7/10 at 08: 00am, and I was told by MB to stay with the vehicle until 7:00 am when it would be picked up,and taken to the dealership. The car was picked up at 08:00 am on 7/10 that morning. The was the worse experience I have ever had, compared to the previous 2 bad experiences, with MB.

  • LOANER PURCHASE

    The process was the usual back and forth but overall not to bad/ they wanted to move a car and we wanted to buy so we got to a number that worked. What did not work is the lack of attention to detail when the car was delivered. They did not show us the imperfections on the as is sale and when we walked around the car they were less than impressed that we found paint chipped and dings not smoothed out. not enough to void the sale but very annoying
