So Much Fun!

I have had multiple "new to me cars" over the years, but had never caved and purchased a brand new car before now. Tyler and Dilyn made my first time buying a brand new car so much fun! From the first encounter on the lot, through the process of searching near and far for the vehicle that checked off my must-have list, to having the vehicle transferred, and finally through signing day, it was an amazing experience. They took the time to answer all of my questions and actually sat with me in the car and walked me through each and every feature, and have followed up with me several times since the purchase. Top-notch customer service!! Highly highly recommend!!

  • Low tire pressure

    Went in cause my alert said that a tire pressure was low. Went into the dealership and asked them to check all the tire pressure. Well they came out and said I picked up a nail in the tire, they gave me 3 different options no pressure and then showed me what they retrieved from the tire. It was a great decision to go in when I did. Tony was the one that took the order and he was professional knowledgeable.

  • Disappointing Purchase

    I recently purchased a used Chevy Colorado pickup from AutoNation Chevrolet. I am pleased with both the truck and the price I paid. However, the truck was delivered with an empty tank of gas. In the past 43 years, every vehicle, new or used, that I purchased from a dealership came with a full tank of gas. I expected better from them. Also, their 125-point Certification Inspection indicated that the upholstery met certification guidelines. General Used Car Certification Guidelines list that the upholstery should not have any tears. I pointed out a small tear on the driver seat and was told the repair was my responsibility to fix, not AutoNation’s. They should either honor repairing the seat to meet their standards or not assert that it meets the certification standards. I received an email saying that the General Manager would like to speak with me to resolve my concerns. I called and left her a voicemail. She never called me back. Very poor way to treat a customer.

    Prior to this current service, I have had good experiences at AutoNation. For this particular services I needed transmission work, new tires, and a full detail. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was soaked from dew and rain, apparently being left outside over night following the detail service. When I posted it out to the Service Department, they immediately cleaned the car and issued a credit for the detail work. They were very responsive and professional.

    Justin Caban was my salesman. He was very informative and kept me updated during the entire process of purchasing my Tahoe. The entire process went very smoothly and I did not have to spend the entire day in a dealership. My total time in and out with a trade-in took approximately 2.5 hours. The manager Josh Rogachesky delivered on his promises. Brian in Finance was great at keeping me within my budget. Everyone here at AutoNation Chevrolet South Clearwater was exceptional and I will never go anywhere else in the future...

    I drove past numerous dealerships so that I could have Gabriel Rodriguez be my salesman. He has sold my family all of their cars in the past, and works hard to not only find the perfect car for his clients but get them the best possible deal. I have never met a salesman more dedicated to his clients than him. Even after the car is purchased he is always willing to help if you have any questions about the vehicle after you drive it off the lot. If you are looking at purchasing a car I would recommend going to Autonation Clearwater and asking for Gabriel.

    I'm very dissatisfied with no attention to detail that the service tech have, I recommend that each car has a bin and anything that comes off that car goes into that bin each and every time. First my valve caps, next I was charged for tire rotation that was never done next would've been my rim key had I not noticed. I mean come on you've got to do better, the excuse from service was oh they are kids. That's unacceptable and very disappointing, they have jobs in an adult setting they need to do better. Next how can I be charged for a service that was never done weeks ago and someone not open their mouth and say anything, had I not noticed my tire was in the same spot and questioned it then no one would've said anything. It's very deceitful and now I have a lack of trust so now I'm questioning everything. Yes, the difference came off my new tire and yes the tires were rotated for free but do you really think that totally satisfied me? My trust is gone and now my guard is up. I shouldn't have to feel that way and it's the principle of everything.

    It's a busy time and a good many people are running around at wits end. Tempers flare and patience is a rare commodity. The Service reps in Clearwater breed a calm sense of professionalism that makes the customers, like me, confident that they are sincerely interested in getting our cars and ourselves back on the road. No high-pressure tactics to get more work done that is not required, just a well thought out schedule of things to look for in the future. It's a nice clean and welcoming dealership and service area.

  • Faulty mirror

    As of today my Silverado 2500 has been back to service three times for the passenger side mirror not retracting properly. Tomorrow I’m dropping it off for the fourth time. Also, the last time the truck was there it was returned with a dent on the driver’s door. I’m hoping that everything will be fixed this time.

  • Unacceptable Service

    I took my car there because my AC wasn't working properly. The first time I took it there, they had it for 5 days and charged me $1300. I drove home and the AC still wasn't fixed. I took it back, they charged me another $1500 and kept my car for 8 days. I drove it home, the AC was still not working. I'm not taking it back to them. They've already gotten $2800 out of me. I don't know what the mechanics are doing back there, but I assume they are just guessing and have no clue. I'd like to be contacted.

  • Nice Employees- Service Took Weeks to Complete

    The people were very nice to work with but my car went almost a month without completing the service. They started and then didn't complete. I began calling other service departments to have my car towed elsewhere at one point. I had to work out two rentals and one loaner car during that time. I had call at least 25 times over the weeks and then in the 4th week I asked for someone higher up before the car was put on the line to get done. I am not sure if it was lack of technicians or poorly run business but it was pretty frustrating.
