For the last week I've been in contact with Heather at Wallingford and she has been incredibly helpful and polite. I don't live in… Connecticut but I made an appointment for the following Saturday and took a little road trip over. My sales associate with Dan Roberts. He was polite during the test drive but the actual car buying process was full of dealer tricks and stress. I've purchased plenty of cars in the past and I've never had a dealership constantly pull so many "by the book" dealer tricks. Please do your research before coming here, there are tons of really helpful car buying guides to avoid these. Let me start off by saying that they didn't even own the title, no one explained this to me before driving over a hundred miles into their spider web. They started by printing a low-ball KBB pricing for my trade in. I had the KBB website in front of me and the fake KBB paper they printed was over a thousand dollars lower. Just because there's the KBB logo on it, doesn't mean it's the actual pricing of your trade in. Please be warned and check this yourself! I talked the price up and they were doing me a huge favor, it was still at least 500 under the KBB fair trade in value. The purchase order was also a mess. They threw in "optional" items such as a VIN number etching service for $180. The VIN etching kit can be purchased for 20$ and installed by any garage if you really want it. It's not necessary, they feed you a line such as "Your insurance will go down if you have this on your windows". I called my insurance, Liberty Mutual, and they said that they don't provide such discounts. Even if your insurance does, please don't let them tag on all these optional prices. I know this is common knowledge but read the contract carefully, they don't tell you when they put all these on there. Financing was non-existent. I work full time in my career but I carry quite a bit of college debt as well as some credit cards I used for school books and emergencies. It was a bit hard for me to find myself financing. For weeks I've called multiple lenders and sources to see if I can find a loan. During this time, I called and emailed Wellingford, asking for assistance on this matter. I explained to them that I would really appreciate some assistance finding a loan. I was told "You should start making phone calls to your bank" and then no responses for days. I never got an email back and every time I called the direct line, I was ignored. The only time I had someone answer was when I called the main office and waiting on hold. I've never actually had to ask to help buy a car. Finally, I got a hold of Ron Jackson, the manager. I explained to them that I was incredibly frustrated and no one was helping me with any loan assistance. That I can't find a loan on my own and because of this, I would like my deposit back. He immediately responded with that he'll send me my deposit back in a check and then hung up. He didn't know my name or ask for my mailing address. So I called back immediately and talked to the women at the front desk. I wasn't in their computer nor was she even aware that I requested my deposit back. What makes it worst is that I called that following Monday and was transferred back to Dan. He then said he wasn't aware that I was getting the deposit back and that he'll send it out as soon as he can. How many times would I need to request my own deposit back for them to actually send it back to me? A better question is, how many times do you need to constantly badger someone for help and be ignored? I've received my deposit. I honestly thought they were going to say it was lost in the mail while never actually sending it to me. Please be warned. This is my experience and I know I will never recommend anyone to come here. My family will be purchasing their cars far away from this place in the future. I hope all these positive reviews aren't all purchased from websites. Thank you for listeninggreat job

We did not have much time and we knew about the car so it was only a matter of getting a fair deal for a car that was not just out of the… factory door. It took us 2 days and 2 on-line inquires to get the things moving into the right direction; but once we reached an agreement and went to the dealership we had a great buying experience. The salesman-Dan was very professional and efficient. He was very knowledgeable of the car and answered all our questions.Extremely satisfied

After some bad car buying experiences in the past I am hesitant to visit dealerships before doing my research. This dealership and all of its… employees care about the customer and really go above an beyond. Plus they give lifetime free oil changes, batteries, car washes, and I even get to come in on Mondays for free manicures! Now I now why they call themselves WOW-TOYOTA! We just bought again 2 new Camrys SE cars from him and had no problems what so ever. The price of the car and the deal we were able to make was just what we wanted. We told him how much were were willing to pay and he got us well within that amount no problem. Once he went over the paper work with us he handed us over to two great finance people. One was Sohail B. and the other was Paul S. They were also great. The entire team didn't make us feel like we were just a number to them. They made us feel like we were the only ones that mattered at that moment. They took as much time as we needed to make sure we understood everything from the paperwork to setting up the bluetooth and toyota entune for our new Camrys. Our experience there was fantastic and we will send family and friends there anytime they want a new/used vehicle without any hesitation.
