Another Bait and Switch Harte Infiniti Scam
by myreview on 06/28/2010I wanted to purchase and ordered a certain EX35 with the Premium Package option which the dealer wrote up as Need to locate. When the vehicle came in we were escorted to the finance department a to sign our lease agreement and then met… with the sales rep to go through the vehicle. That is when the salesman realized there was a problem but said he needed more time to orientate himself to the vehicle and would schedule a second orientation. Guess what...no calls, no return calls, no response to emails...NOTHING. I checked the owners manual and contacted Nissan/Infiniti just like the owners manual said. Gues what Nissan said. We cannot do anything except pass it on to the dealer and when they called the dealer they did not get reurn phone calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER AS THEY WILL BAIT AND SWITCH YOU AND THEN NOT RESOLVE OR RESPOND. And Nissan/Infiniti is useless and a sorry story for a customer focused business.Stay Away!!!
by steve340 on 05/03/2008Total rip-off. Harte Auto Group was in the news for ripping off customers using a free oil change scam so I should have known better. I purchased a G35 Coupe. After waiting several months it came in with the wrong options! They screwed it… up but I had to take the car because my old one was unreliable. I had them order another one and when it came it they wanted me to give them $10,000! Even though the one they screwed up was only 3 months old, had only 3,000 miles on it and was trading for sticker price on eBay. Their attitude: if you don't want to pay us we'll just sell it to someone else. I should have known better because two years earlier Harte Nissan tried to pull a bait and switch on me on a new Maxima. I have since warned at least a dozen people to stay away from Harte Auto GroupHarte Infiniti is committed to total customer satisfaction. From the sounds of your review from 2008, Harte Infiniti made an error in ordering a vehicle with the incorrect items on it. From what I gather, this mistake was disclosed before you took delivery and although it was a mistake, you took delivery of this vehicle under your own volition. I am sure you understand that when you take delivery of a new vehicle there is some degree of depreciation associated with it. I am sorry that your vehicle did not appraise for the amount that you had hoped three months later, but as you are aware I am sure, ebay is not an effective barometer for retail sales. We try to conduct business in an ethical, fair and professional manner. I am sorry if you feel we failed you in that regard. Easy Buying/Leasing Experience
by awd2003 on 03/04/2008I had leased a 2006 M35x from this dealer in 2006. I was looking to replace with same car but after a test ride I liked the G35x. I had a great salesperson. He was willing to listen to me and since I did my homework I was got a good lease… deal. Even the finance guy was good. They were never pushy. They paid off my last payment on my M35x. We went to Harte-Infinity as we had purchased a car years ago and had very good luck then. When… we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Joe F. We explained that we were interested in a M37 AWD and needed a lumbar option on the passenger side. Joe put us in a M37 AWD in the showroom and explained the equipment options and operation. We test drove an AWD M37and were very pleased especially with the lumbar operation. We also tested the Sport model that was located in the showroom and determined that this was the best choice. We closed the deal that day with Joe and the business managers. Joe even arranged to bring our current lease car to a local dealership to conclude the existing lease and the current sale. High marks for Joe and the sales/service team.odellgauntlett

The car is awesome but what got me was how easy this was. This is my first car since a 2006 new Saab that i… traded in. The sales consultant was Joe F., he came out to greet me and was very friendly. It didn't feel like a pressure filled event which i like. I had talked to the BMW dealership and alli got was comparison talk trying to convince me that their car was better. I'm just not a fan of that approach. Joe was very patient, answered questions directly without putting spin on it and he let me make my decisions and form my opinions. Which is probably a great approach because the INfiniti is pretty nice. This is my first one and unlikely to be my last. In any event, the finance person, Roger I think, was pretty helpful and easygoing too. I can't think of a single negative in this experience. I'm a big fan!Red Infiniti G37X

Then I saw a few that I was interrested in at Harte Infiniti. They were the best prices around and the sales people (Jay and Chelsea) were so… nice, no pressure and took care of the financing. Our experience could not have been better from sales, loan preparation, service and the the final delivery with over an hour of instruction. Daniel was a… superb guy who spent hours with us to get the car we wanted and Dondi who made sure the agreement was right and Roger who got me a great rate and signed the papers with me. Anthony had the hardest job which was to teach my wife and I how it all worked. These guys all went above and beyond to make us happy. My wife wanted a Mercedes but after this experience we will probably drive an Infinity from Harte forever. We had some work done on the car after we bought it and they not only did all we asked they painted a full front bumper and side panel as extras. They also fixed a scratch on the steering wheel that my wife called in after the whole deal was done. We arrived three hours early, they moved our luggage from our loaner to our car without even a request and we were on our way. Harte Infiniti is committed to total customer satisfaction. Our management team does their best to maintain high levels of customer service and when we locate a vehicle for a customer, we do our best to ensure that it is the correct vehicle. It sounds as if we made a mistake in regards to steve340 and for that I apoligize. I am sure that upon further review steve340 would understand that once a vehicle is purchased and driven off our facility, that new vehicle has a depreciation factor. If this customer was not happy with the vehicle ordered, I would have urged him not to have taken delivery of it because of this factor. Unfortunately, ebay does not set the pricing for preowned vehicles, the market does. Our management team offered to purchase his vehicle from him at top market value, so that he could purchase the vehicle he desired. I apologize that we could not make this work for him.
