Inflexible management at CarMax
by michael_px235 on 05/26/2015The Littleton Store's management inflexibility really soured my overall buying experience. Let me outline the scenario: I am purchasing a vehicle without leather seats. I wanted to install charcoal leather, but the dealer insists on… installing light gray, because the darker leather would "diminish the resale value". So...I would think that having LEATHER installed over cloth would increase the value regardless of the color AND, Charcoal is GRAY and will compliment the interior anyway. PLUS, I am planning to drive the car until the wheels fall off...but, this argument did not sway CarMax Management. There's no additional expense for the difference and the charcoal is readily available...so, I have to assume that it is sheer pig-headedness by the management. VERY disappointed that I have to get this install done ON MY OWN and at a greater cost. Thanks, CarMax for costing me time and money to resolve an issue that could have been EASILY resolved at the dealership.
