by AFortner on 07/14/2016My experience with Andy was exceptional. No pressure sales, just a simple email to ask me to come see him about a car I was interested in already. He was extremely friendly and welcoming, and then bent over backwards to get me everything… that I wanted and needed out of the deal. The transition from one car to the other was seamless, and now I have the exact car I wanted!! I LOVE my Vitamin-C Veloster and my salesman Andy!! Will definitely be back to see him when it's time to trade this one in for my next car! Suggestion for the Veloster: Green Velosters would look awesome! Lol.Best car buying experience

by sola_41 on 12/14/2015I thought I was doing good with this place it turned out they sold me a lemon I took the car in twice within a weeks time they couldn't find anything wrong with it,it turn out to be the housing under the motor not releasing the water to the… motor so the only way to get anther car was to put more money down and with this one again there is something wrong with it. On the finance part they were to take the payment in two payments on the first car which they did and the same on the second car now comes they took additional money out of my account without my permission and saying I still owed them money to me that is 1) completely wrong it's been paid. 2) you don't take money without contacting the person first. 3) don't take what's not right it's like stealing not only in money but in selling lemons..Excellent Service at Phil Long Hyundai

by drk2015 on 07/11/2015We bought a Sonata Limited Hybrid - through the process of negotiating a price that was quoted through True Car - the sales manage chose to be rude and yell at me as "Hey Lady, I'm not giving you another dime!" This was because he tried to… reneg on oil changes (!!). The mgr. decided to give us a free detail due to his sales manager's issues (which he attributed to personal.) Okay - I get everyone has a bad day, but he never apologized. I was the one who went to him and held my hand out. I don't know if the GM's story was true. Fast forward We just bought a Santa Fe certified pre-owned. We paid asking price. We dealt directly with Mark and the GM Steve Krohn. It did not come with floor mats and I stated I thought they were in the back as Larry H. Miller provides car mats for Certified Pre-Owned cars. The sales guy, Mark F. agreed to get me floor mats, but I didn't hear anything for over two weeks, so I called back. He stated he was waiting for a used car to come in and he backpedaled on whether he would get these or not. I don't know what it is about this dealership, but Mark F. was just as rude and unprofessional as Scott - Sales Mgr. was on previous occasion. My husband talked to him and he was on speaker phone. The other people in the room were incredulous that a sales "professional" would speak that way to a customer (and mocked me to my husband). Note: not a good business or ethical practice. This dealership has treated me more obnoxiously and unprofessionally than I have ever been treated in my life. Bits from my phone call with Steve Krohn, General Manager: Steve K: Oh now you want to bring up what happened a year ago? You know what? I don't care about what Larry Miller does, you bought the car without floor mats! And now you want to say that the problem is from the top down? (My comment was that he didn't hold rude staff accountable. His excuse - everyone has a bad day, you don't have a bad day?) Now, you're insulting me. You know what? No! I DON'T want to resolve this - I don't need your business. In fact, I don't need your money and I don't need you to come to my dealership. I don't need you to ever come here again - I don't need your business!" I have had a few weeks to think about this and after talking to a few friends in the car business - I agree that someone in a general manager position should never be this rude or unprofessional. I personally believe that I was treated with an additional level of disrespect because I am a woman. While my husband was also treated rudely, it was more personalized with me - laughing at me, Hey lady, etc. I would never recommend this dealership unless there was a change of leadership and staff were held accountable for their behavior. As for the floor mats - I guess I will buy my own. Will I buy a Hyundai again. I don't think so. These two awful experiences have soured me on Hyundai.Pride of Dealership!

The staff are very friendly. This place holds high integrity and work… in an ethical and moral manner, which is very hard to find these days in the car sales industry. Dealer honored all commitments and went out of their way to find us the car with all requested options. Thank you for holding such high standards and treating me with the utmost respect. I really do appreciate it. I'd highly recommend this car dealership to anyone.Would Highly Recommend Phil Long

We asked for some information on the Elantra and said we had a few more places to look. We were back in less then 10 minutes and… David gave us his utmost attention. He immediately returned phone calls to provide information. What makes Clint stand out is that he will come to you if you… have questions about the car. I had my Sonata for more then 9 years and was time to check out the 2015s and maybe step up to the Genesis. I did a lot of internet legwork checking out reviews… and customers comments and vehicle pricing before I decided to step foot at the dealers. Motor City Hyundai salesmen were very knowledgeable and worked very hard to get the color and options I wanted and very happy with the final cost. They were able to get me many discounts and ended up saving $8000+ of MSRP.Vehicle Needed

The sales department was completely amazing and wanted nothing more than for my husband and I to be satisfied and the service department has gone above and beyond to help get our car… fixed and ready to travel from Colorado to California. We have never had anything that could not be fixed. When we purchased our car there was a situation that needed remedied and we talk with Steve the General Manager and it was remedied right away. If you have an open heart and mind and don't go into the dealership thinking that they are going to do you wrong you will find that they are there to help you not hurt you in anyway. Looking forward to having our car serviced at Phil Long for years to come.
