  • Worst experience I have ever had

    Was told the price for the total amount shouldn’t be more than $2000. When I showed up to pick up my car I was greeted with a $2600 bill. When I asked for clarification I was told the person must have told me the price only included parts and didn’t include labor. When I asked are all of you employees this misleading they had nothing to say. Needless to say I will never step foot in a Hyundai dealership for even an oil filter.

  • Long wait

    Initially scheduled an oil change and to check my airbag light that comes on periodically when a passenger sits in the front seat. Was informed there is a two week wait for diagnostic tests and would have to leave my vehicle. I don’t have any other transportation so I elected for the oil change only. There was a three hour wait because of short staff.

    My service was prompt and the provider was friendly. I have been having a problem with my AC since my appointment, which is frustrating, as I know they had looked into components of it just to evaluate filter life etc. I need to come back to have them address that, but have been out of town so wasn't able to put in a prompt quibble. Hoping it's just a fluke, as otherwise the service was friendly and fast.

  • First Service Experience

    I had a terrible experience and it is very unfortunate. It started with address being incorrect and continued with not being picked up to return to get my car after the service taking hours longer than promised. Hyundai offers Lyft as a courteousy shuttle which I needed. I ended up having to order my own Lyft after waiting 30 minutes for the Lyft Hyundai had ordered. I called the dealership after 20 min of not hearing from Lyft and no one answered. Then to top it off, I had asked for my car to be washed and was assured it would be. It was not, and in fact it was in worst shape then when I dropped it off. Mind you this is my brand new car that I have been taking excellent care of. I am completely disappointed and will not return to this dealer. I hope I have a better experience elsewhere.

  • incomplete service.

    I took my 2013 sonata to the dealer in response to a recall for the fuel line. The part affected is on the top of the engine. I picked up my car and was assured the repair was done. Later, I took my car to my mechanic for an oil change, my mechanic informed me the top cover of the engine was missing. The technician neglected to replace the cover after completing the recall repair. It concerns me that there is evidently no quality control to ensure repairs are cone competently. I attempted to call the service consultant Matt, who handled my original appt. No response.

  • Basic Service

    Feel I was upsold on services I didn’t really need. Service Rep tried to charge $100.00 over estimate. Then blamed it on the new software. After waiting for him to adjust the total he then said he fixed it but only lowered price by $20.00. I asked for an explanation and he said it taxes. I asked to see what I was being taxed for and he said “wait a minute I can get it down to where it should be”. When finished he said $479. He said it’s higher than the estimate because the estimate doesn’t include tax. After paying I examined the invoice at home. Taxes were only $13.11. I feel he is very dishonest and I’ve basically been swindled.

    Came in for oil change had other services performed due to mileage brought to my attention by service advisor was promised vehicle at certain time and he messaged me that it was ready.

    Sucked. Took almost 3 months and I couldn’t get a rental the first 3 weeks. Missing the antenna now! Let’s see if they will fix?

  • Service always takes twice as long as promised

    They always excessively underestimate how much time it will take. I had an 8:30 appt., they didn't talk to me until 8:45, and my car wasn't taken back until after 9:00. I had to stand and wait for a long time when I came up to question where my car was after the initial time frame was up. The service personnel couldn't be less interested. in assisting people

  • Poor service

    We brought our lease vehicle in for an oil change on 5/3/23. This is a free service. I waited a long time for the oil change, but that wasn’t that big of a deal. I drove 5 hours to visit family and while it was parked I noticed it was leaking a lot of oil. We took it to the local Hyundai dealer and they charged us $60 replace a defective oil filter. Defective parts happen, that’s not a big deal , either. The Hyundai service department in Merced told us to get in touch with Hyundai Valencia and they would reimburse us for the $60. We’ve called and left messages with the service manager, general manager and others, they will not answer the phone and they will not call back. Now I’m angry. The level of service is just awful. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

    We came in for a quick appointment to replace a windshield wiper arm and blade. I had discussed it with the service team member, Ian, one month prior during a regular routine/maintenance appointment, and even asked for a quote. He let me know I could call it in when I was ready to get the work done, and he would place the order for the service part, and it would take a couple business days to come in. He let me know that installing the part wouldn't take long at all, and he even installed itself while my husband and I were waiting. I know that this may not always be the case, as we were fortunate to get this done at the start of the day, before the service department got busy. Ian communicates effectively and honestly, and we appreciate his business.
