  • Undiagnosed rattle in steering area

    Issue still not totally resolved after two trips to service department and waiting approx. 6 hours total and having to drive approx. 3 hours. round trip each time to get to service dept. Will have to probably make another appointment to get resolved.

  • Oil change

    The oil filter was not completely screwed down. I had a slight leak that did not affect my engine. I was able to tighten it down.

    I brought my 2022 Subaru Limited to Ken Fowler Subaru to have the air filter and Cabin Filter changed. I had an early morning appointment and although the wait time seemed long for what the job involved they had free coffee and the lobby had reading material. The service staff are to be commended for their great customer service

  • Lock up your Stuff!! Trust No one

    I took my subaru in on Friday, 5/22/09, stayed inside dealership while my monthly oil change was being done and also the Brake fluid change they recommended... I was watching as they drove my car out...When I got inside my car I notice my car was rifled thru and my dead father's handicap plate laying on the passenger's side seat...huh, I thought I had put in the glove compartment...but I was in a rush to pick up my son who had just finished up volunteering at the food bank...and called to say hurry up mom I'm done... The court had just granted me administrator of my dad's estate and I was taken care of his business that afternoon. Paying his property taxes, bank and dropping off his two handicap plates to the DMV. After I had paid his property taxes, I leaned over and went to get the other new handicap plate and it was GONE! When I looked again in the glove compartment, my makeup bag was at the bottom, when before I drove into Ken Fowler I had pulled over and put my makeup on and put the makeup bag on top of everything, ever piece of paper had been gone through..there is a space between the compartment when you close it up and that's where I had put both plates! I remembered then...before I had shut the glove compartment up. Trust, I feel so violated, wow, I trusted these guys with my car every month, since I drive 3000 miles a month, I purchased my car from them...I seriously don't know now If the tech actually performed any work on my car that day, but it cost me almost $140.00. I did file a police report with the Ukiah Police Dept on Sunday May 24, after, I came out of SHOCK and was more able to deal with this violation... A thief works among them, He might not steal from you (co-workers), but he is stealing from customers and that, right there, tells me alot about your business. I can no longer patronize your establishment out of Fear and mistrust, because he is watching and waiting for his next victim. He knows where I live, because of my car registration in the glove compartment...Thank God, I have Big Dogs in the house. And, if they can steal from me, no matter how small,what are they going to do to my 2008 subaru impreza next! And, what will it cost me to repair things that don't need it.! With that in mind... Never think you have nothing of value to steal...Your Car Resigtration with your address on it?...while you think your car is being taken care of...he could have his buddies taken care of your house...Scared me, if he is so low to steal a Dead man's handicap plate, he might just tweek your car...so, you need more service done on your car...Being Female is even worst...

  • Great Expierence Purchasing Vehicle!!!

    My spouse and I purchase a new and or used vehicle every two years or there a bouts. We have been doing this for 20+ years,so we are not new to the car sales approach. We usually dread the salesperson knowing all to well we are going to be over talked,persuaded and rushed. This time we went to Ken Fowler Auto Center in Ukiah. They had a wide variety of new and used cars for sale. We were meet by a very funny salesman. This man put both my spouse and I at ease, took the time to listen and hear us and let us talk. We were excited and had a pleasant time buying our vehicle. I would highly recommend going there. Our salesman was Robert Reed and I would say if you want a great experience without the pressure, a great price and a sense of integrity and respect. Go see Robert and go away laughing and feeling good like we did!
