by Jc23 on 08/16/2024I had a deeply disappointing experience at Keyes Honda in Van Nuys. During a recent visit, Rudy, a parts associate, yelled at me, a customer. I immediately reached out to management for assistance, but I received no response or update for… an extended period. Today, Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 10:20 AM, I finally received a call from the parts manager. Unfortunately, the conversation only added to my frustration. The manager's response was dismissive and unprofessional. He essentially told me, "I'm sorry you took it that way," implying that the issue was with my perception rather than addressing the unacceptable behavior of their employee. He stated that their employee denied yelling, and since there was no "evidence," they would not take further action beyond possibly discussing tone with Rudy. The manager's repeated use of phrases like "you may have perceived," "you felt," and "miscommunication" was patronizing and insulting, as if I was not competent to recognize when someone was yelling at me. This approach not only deflected responsibility but also minimized my experience as a customer. I am disappointed by how this situation was handled. There was no accountability, no sincere apology, and no meaningful action taken. It seems clear that Keyes Honda in Van Nuys is more concerned with protecting their employees behaviors than ensuring a respectful and positive experience for their customers. I expected much better from a reputable dealership and am incredibly disappointed with this entire ordeal.
who knew buying a car could be easy

They made the buying process as easy as all my other online buying decisions. SIMPLE ! Lenin Hernandez was ready when I arrived and… the entire process including the paperwork was less than one hour! Ask for Lewis Cook personally, the team he has is professional and easy to work with! Ishel in finance completed my paperwork and made it easy for me to choose the right protection plans for my brand new Civic!TERRIBLE SERVICE I am so unimpressed by the service.

I signed the contracts, filed the paper work, finalized the deposit, they gave me the keys, congratulated me, shook my hand and I left with the car. I live in North Hollywood, Los Angeles and I… work in Los Vegas, Nevada. I drove to work with my new car for the month. I get contacted by Keyes Honda's financing department to be told that my credit wasn't approved since I was new to the States (Canadian) and I needed a co-signer. Since I am alone and do not know anyone who can co-sign with me, they asked me to return the car. When I advised them that I was in Los Vegas at the time, they told me they needed the car back and were gonna send a representative to get the car and leave me stranded without a way back. They were very unprofessional in handling the situation and the communication within the company wasn't organized. My file kept bouncing from one person to another and one department to another. I didn't know who to talk to and who held my file in their hands anymore. They were rude to me when I was simply trying to figure out a solution and inquire about my options. I would definitely not refer Keyes Honda to any of my friends and family and strongly suggest to look elsewhere for a better dealership as well as better sales services.Joanna is awesome!!

Thanks to her I was able to get a super good deal with the car I wanted and I got excellent guest service from Joanna and… Julie (from finance department). Keyes Honda at Van Nuys is now my dealershop because of Joanna's awesome attitude and service. Thanks Joanna!! :)LEWIS IS THE BEST!

Lewis the (General Store Manager) and Larry West helped me sort a situation with a car I recently bought from Keyes / Kia (When they were partnered) and he helped smooth all the rough edges… I had in the situation and cleaned my whole slate. I drove off the lot with a brand new car and in a better financial situation than I started. I'm feeling incrediby blessed, happy and grateful! NOTE: IF YOU'RE IN A STICKY SITUATION WITH A CAR – GO TO LEWIS AND LARRY! THEY ARE THE GURUS OF HELPING OTHERS. PERIOD. THANK YOU AGAIN LEWIS & LARRY!!!!!!!!Wonderful Experience!
