by taino530 on 05/31/2019Where do I begin? I came to the lot late but the entire process was super rushed. I felt like all they wanted was for me to sign papers so they could leave. When they brought me the car I was handed the keys along with a quick handshake.… They did not offer a tour of the car, to setup bluetooth, feature review or anything. Well 3 days later the car died! It would not start. I called dealer and they told me to call Toyota Roadside. I did and that was a disaster. Long story short I paid them $103 for nothing. I ended up calling AAA and having the car taken to another Toyota. It was a bad batter but guess who had to pay, ME! Another $313 now I'm out of pocket $416 in THREE DAYS! Well they offered to reimburse me and it's been 10 days and I had to follow up with them twice just to see where my check is. Now the brakes are making noise so I have another appointment with them because your warranty doesnt kick in for 30 days. Needless to say this has been a complete nightmare. I've bought Toyota's from Ventura Toyota, Keyes Toyota in Van Nuys and Northridge Toyota and I have never experienced the horrific customer service that I received from Toyota of Santa Monica. I'm so disappointed!Excellent

by pgayed89 on 05/09/2018When you advertise a price and refuse to honor your price!what does that mean? Friday, I contacted Toyota Santa Monica about their 2015 Toyota Prius Four "stock#P24177" for the price of $15,117 which was listed on their official website and… all other online advertising. Anthony, a salesman from the dealership called me and we confirmed availability so we set appointment on the next day Saturday at 12:00pm. On Saturday morning I called the dealership to confirm availability again before I drive to the dealership "43 miles away ". Anthony was not available and the price was not available either. Milton, another salesman from the dealership who I spoke with told me "CAR PRICES ARE JUST LIKE GAS PRICES, we can change the price as we want everyday".So I told him thank you I'm not interested in the car for $20,600. Few hours later, Anthony called me to apologize for missing our appointment and said car is not in the lot but you can apply for financing on our website. So I told ok send me links with the price of $15,117 and I will apply. However, he never send anything!not even a single picture of the vehicle.I found the car still on sale on Edmunds for the price of $15,117 so I contacted them again through Edmunds so I can take advantage of the price promise program.On Sunday I visited the dealership and the vehicle still available for the price of $15,117 however, they refuse to sale it for the online price.I couldn't get my price which was emailed to me. Just wasted 3 hours in traffic and more than 4 hours at the dealership searching for the vehicle on their parking lots!like they doesn't know where it's parked! What is your goal is getting me in to the dealership?You just wasted my time and yours AND you didnt make a sale. Please learn to be mindful and respectful of other peoples time and stop playing the FAKE PRICES Game with your customers. Guys!! Go everywhere except this dealership. These guys are possibley [non-permissible content removed]. Please don't trust them at all.They wasted my time. They gave me the price, then they changed the price on the next day, and they asked me to pay the down payment couple days in advance when still don't have the car.Easy and fast

We probably looked /inquired /and was quoted 5-6 different places for the car we wanted and when… we finally decided to go with Mark we were not let down. We got an online quote before we wasted anyone's time and they delivered. The whole process took about 2-2.5 hours, it would have been sooner but that place was packed. Again no regrets here, made a new go to spot, thank you mark and your team for such a great experience, I will definitely come back!Amazing service
