    From the beginning to the end of the process, the sales person was amazing. She was very engaged and answered all of my questions. She was very well versed on the differences between the vehicle models and was able to give me solid answers. I highly recommend Subaru Santa Monica!

    I understand dealership service fees are higher than outside mechanics but I feel I was egregiously overcharged! Plus, I had to come back for an alignment which should have been done the first visit. Waited three hours, was told it’s in the house and they apologized it took so long due to rust like it was no big deal. I was not quite a fan of having it framed as though they were doing me the favor. If the service was actually initially performed, then something as serious as rust should have been addressed! Plus, it was only then during the second visit when I was given the alignment report which verified my suspicion that it was not done initially as it should have been. Not happy.

    Went in for a routine oil/filter change service, was really pleased with my service agent Mr Moya. He was prompt and really helpful. A few days later I received a call stating that the air filter needs to be changed for an additional fee. I took the car back in and Mr Moya checked the air filter and said it in fact it had been changed. It is this honesty and integrity that is paramount in any service agreement and this makes me trust my Santa Monica dealership! Kudos to Mr Moya

  • New Subaru Impreza 2023 Lease

    I recently leased a new subaru impreza 2023 from subaru santa monica. It was a friendly and mostly easy experience. I would deduct a star due to the process of having no real fixed price and having to negotiate with the sales person, however this is unfortunately the way the car industry works and I would not want it to reflect on the employees. Due to this same process I was waiting around for about 4 hours with going back and forth on the price when it could have all been done in less than an hour. Otherwise it was a good experience and I have no real complaints. Loving the new car so far.

    My 2016 Outback is 6 years old and I've had it serviced at Santa Monica Subaru since I've owned it. Every experience here has been great even with different service coordinators over the years. Steven took care of me this time and was terrific.

    After researching cars online for over a month, we finally decided to explore a Subaru Outback. We went to Subaru Santa Monica because they were near where we live. We met Everett Armstrong there and told him what car we were interested in examining. His approach from the first moments we met him until we closed a deal was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We wound up with the exact car we were interested in the next day (no attempt to switch us to something on the lot just to close a deal). He introduced us to a Sales Manager, Danny Canteo and the Service Advisor, Dwight Riley who would take care of our future service needs. Everett's delivery process was very thorough not only showing us all of the cars features and how they worked, but assisted us in pairing our phones, etc. He walked us around our trade-in to make sure we had retrieved all of our stuff and even found and removed our street parking sticker (which I overlooked) and installed in on our new car. In all the many years that I have looked at and purchased cars, I have never had such a pleasant experience without stress or pressure. I would highly recommend Everett Armstrong and Subaru Santa Monica if you are interested a Subaru product. I am looking forward to what I understand will be excellent Service support in the future from discussions with others who have dealt with Subaru Santa Monica.

    The agent that checked me in for service was Christian Duarte and from the start he was very helpful. This is my second Subaru and previously I had service at Van Nuys but decide to try Santa Monica since it was closer to my home. Happy that I did and I intend to continue to use your service.

    Eric Howard made my car purchase experience really easy and enjoyable. I contacted him via the website, he provided me requested quotes with copies of the Monroney stickers attached, and I showed up and bought the car for the quoted price. Eric is very easy to be around, and I really enjoyed buying a car from him. He even personally delivered the car to my residence after the purchase so I don't hard to worry about driving 2 cars home.

    I bought my 2018 Subaru Outback from Michael Johnson. He did a great job from the time we entered the dealership until I signed the paperwork. No pressure. Also, the finance manager Sarah was very knowledgeable and made what sometimes can be a stressful experience easy.

    Though this was a small/routine service, service advisor Bryan Neville really took care of me, and helped me understand a couple of obscure adjustments which I had wanted, which were buried deep in the electronic menus of my Forester.

    I had Bryan Neville and he was awesome! My service had expired in November but I was supposed to have four services and only had three so he made sure I still got my last service! The new place looks great and everyone is very nice there!

    Subaru of Santa Monica has been a very reliable and friendly service location for as long as I've had my car in LA. This weekend, Seth Chadwick was able to help find and purchase a new Subaru on short notice. He was very friendly, helpful, and (most importantly) honest throughout the process.

    I was in the market for a CGK Crosstrek, but quickly realized how hard they are to find. I called Santa Monica Subaru to see if they had any and they told me they had a couple arriving. Ji Song was able to help me reserve the car, and informed me once the car was delivered (early) to the dealer. While I was signing paperwork, she had the car brought into the showroom. When I was done signing paperwork, I turned around and my new Crosstrek was waiting for me in the showroom. Nice touch! She was very helpful with the purchase and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

    This was my first time at the repair shop since it was remodeled. The remodel is very nice and obviously creates a good atmosphere. The service is excellent. The moment you arrive at the shop, you are greeted by someone who's job is apparently to make sure you are directed to the right person, and promptly. I was then assisted by a service associate, Dwight Riley, who's very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. One of the things Dwight did was check to see if any of the services I needed was covered by warranty (one of the services I needed was indeed covered, so thanks, Dwight!). Dwight also noticed my car was subject to a recall. Since fixing the recall would require the car be left overnight, Dwight offered a free rental car which arrived within minutes. At the time I left, the staff was already washing and vacuuming the car (a wonderful courtesy the shop offers, and which is most appreciated)! When I returned to pick up my car, everything was ship-shape; the car was ready, and it took just a few minutes to drop off the rental and pay the charge. As I was getting ready to leave, however, staff noticed that an overnight rainshower had left dustmarks on the car's exterior and took it to rewash. Because I was in a bit of a hurry, and the car washers were temporarily tied up with other cars, Dwight personally grabbed the hose to wash down the car. I'm telling you, this is a guy who's going to make sure his customers are happy!

    Everett was a massive help for me as a first one buyer for a car. He went out of his way to help me out and make the whole situation very easy for me. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a Subaru!

    worked with Jin at Subaru SM it was quick and painless Jin had everything ready to go for me their financing office moved quickly through the process i was in and out in a matter of a few hours, in relation my wife's experience at Toyota took an entire day into the night, big difference thanks guys glad to be a Subaru owner!

    I was assisted by Irawan Soegono. He was very helpful, explained the work to be performed in my car, and was very friendly. The car was serviced in the timeframe suggested by Irawan and the work done was outstanding. I recommend this dealership for any service you need in your car, and Irawan as consultant.
