Car warranty service
by Ewat123 on 03/19/2016Claude was a big help during my last oil change service under a warranty. Very hard work, fast and courteous.Great BMW servive
by saileshr on 02/25/2016I took my car there for service a few times. I got great service every time. Polite and competent staff. Work was done in the time frame promised. Even if it was late, it was not a big deal because they give a loaner car. Just remember… to reserve loaner in advance; it generally takes 2 weeks to get one.Stevens Creek BMW - Very Pleased
by Stanfeathers on 02/08/2016I'm very pleased with the performance of Stevens Creek BMW. I highly recommend them. They're pricing and performance is excellent.Overall excellence
by Kendogg56 on 01/30/2016They were able to find a warranty through bmw that I did not know I had. Which covered all expenses minus $50. And put me in a brand new loaner till it was completed.Really good service
by Seemonster on 01/23/2016Found the BMW on their website I wanted, as was quoted a great price.. When I showed up TJ was very straight forward and did not try and change the price. Awesome service.Great experience, friendly staff
by RajSingh on 01/21/2016I came for the free BMW maintenance with appointment. The only minor complain I have is that I had to wait for 40 minutes in the service lobby for the assigned assistant who did all the paperwork and took the car in. It was a weekend (… Saturday ) and the guy told me that today it was crazy, other than that it was all smooth and easy. The staff appeared very cooperative and professional. Since this was my first experience with this dealership and that too for the free scheduled maintenance I cannot comment on how they charge and stuff. overall my experience was very pleasant and nice.Love Stevens Creek BMW
by GHowell2533 on 01/12/2016I was due for a New car Called Ashley Bunce who works in the offices at Stevens Creek BWM to check what was available on the lot.. Wow did I get hooked up. 2010 Cadillac Escalade low miles, mint condition. Car was being detailed when I went… to check it out so back in a few hours for the test drive. This car rode like a Dream. All the bells and whistles..Yes, yes I want to buy it, Went home unloaded my trade in and within a couple of hours I was the proud owner of a New car. I even got a picture with a Bow on top. Great Finance Dept Thanks Bill, and Nasser and the management team, And Romeo Salesman and a Big shout out to Ashley "Your the Best" I just want to say this is not my first experience with Stevens Creek BMW My son needed a car a couple of years ago and Ashley helped us find a Jeep Grand Cherokee for him. It was the first car he financed and it was a smooth process for him too. I can't say enought about BMW. I will be loyal to this dealership and Yes, I am telling all my FriendsProfessional Treatment
by Despina3829 on 01/11/2016One of the cylinders of my car was not firing. That was on New Year's Eve when I drove into the dealership. I was advised to not drive the car and was given a ride to my residence. On Saturday, Jan. 2nd, I was contacted by a… representative of the dealership in order to perform a diagnostics test. After the test, I was contacted again both by phone and e-mail detailing all was wrong with the car and with dollar and time estimates to take care of the problem. I was given a loaner car for the duration my car was in the shop. When the car was ready, I was given a break down of what was done and why, with savings in gray areas, where parts were not directly covered by the warranty, but could be considered as quincitential damage. Overall the service was great. The employees very polite. A very professional establishment to do business with.First time at Stevens Creek BMW
by Marklim on 01/08/2016I took my BMW to have a complete check up and worked with Julie. There was a short list of items that needed fixing. When I was called with a quote and list of things to be fixed there must have been miscommunication . I thought I only… approved 1,860.00 worth of work. When I arrived I had a bill of close to 3,000 dollars. I was floored. All of the work that was done was amazing. My car runs much better and I appreciate how quick the turn around was. However, I don't think I will be returning to this dealership bc I feel like I might have been deceived into doing services when I wasn't ready yet."DON'T COME BACK"
by gaurav1 on 03/01/2015"Don't come back !" Seriously this is how you deal with your customer. It is such a weird customer service that I experienced today from BMW. I was trying to understand, was it really my fault that bursted that sales person into saying… 'don't come back' I went there to trade in my car and get new BMW .. Now series of event - - we liked one car - sales person quotes one price that they call it "true value" - they inspected my car that is well below kbb value, - now BMW sales person, manager they were trying to offer me a great deal and took 2 hours and for me waste of time as they were just coming with pennies when you were dealing with 40k+ car - they quoted their car as 2k less than invoice price by their mistake and call it as true value, once realized stArted negotiating on that.. Is this mistake my fault ? - I was there to buy the car when I realized BMW could offer a good deal as you guys were forcing the deal tonight - after two hours if you could get us a reasonable price and we said no for our hard earned money, your response was "DONT COME BACK" This is not the service that one can expect from world leading car.Excellent service
by bmw2015 on 12/14/2014I was looking for a BMW 550i for my husband . I contacted mountain view dealer first but sales staff was not interested in finding my what I was looking for. I contacted Stevens creek internet department - TJ Singh & he not only found one… for me but gave me best price too!! This was my fasted car purchase ever - done with test drive, paper work in less than three hours.Horrible car purchase experience
by rayray209 on 10/31/2014On 10/13/14 I purchased a 2008 M3 from their sales associate, Sergio. Because I live 2 hours away (Manteca, CA) I made it clear that all negotiations would be confirmed via phone prior to me coming in (to prevent time wasted). These were… all confirmed via phone: 1. Price of vehicle 2. I will pay via outside financing (USAA) and I will be able to drive off with the vehicle. 3. 1 and ONLY 1 credit inquiry (to ensure backup financing) Very simple. All 3 of the items were confirmed so my family of 4 took the drive there to close the deal. Unfortunately, it did not go as planned. Upon seeing the finance manager, Kim Nguyen, she stated that I did not qualify and tried to get me to use your banks. WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, she ran my credit 5 additional times to other institutions. I MADE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR PRIOR TO COMING IT THAT I WAS ALREADY APPROVED WITH USAA. This was unacceptable to me, as I am in the middle of purchasing a home, which took a hit on my score ultimately affecting my qualification for a mortgage. Furthermore, Sergio disclosed that the Navigation Disc was stolen. He promised that he would send me the disc the next day. It is almost 2 weeks later and I have yet to see this disc. Initially, I was a bit leary with going with Stevens Creek BMW, given the mixed reviews. After my own personal experience, I can say that some of those reviews are accurate. I emailed this narrative to all parties involved during this transaction to seek resolution, INCLUDING the General Sales Manager. I did not receive acknowledgement or a reply. This is how much they value customer service...THANK YOU, STEVENS CREEK! NOT!Dear Ray, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, as a valued customer your satisfaction is extremely important to us. I apologize for the inconvenience that you have incurred regarding the navigation disk. I would like to speak with you on order to better understand your concerns and work to ensure your satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience, I can be reached at 800-297-4804 or my email chip.irwin@stevenscreekbmw.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Chip Irwin (General Manager)
Bad Service Experience
by madsm3 on 07/16/2014Wanted to express my experience on a recent visit to Stevens Creek BMW. I had serviced my 545i and 550i for 7 years and this time around I went for my BMW M3. The difference this time is my M3 had to be towed and I don't have BMW 4yrs… service warranty. Earlier I was covered under the warranty, I was treated like GOD and now they hardly look into my eyes and talk. They behave as if I came with a cheap car for service. I would not have gone there as I was very happy with Fremont BMW. Since my car stopped closer to their dealership, I asked it to be towed there. Since I have no choice, they charged me $210 diagnosis fee and it is not waived even after I have done $1500 worth of repairs. They might have hardly spent 1/2 hour to figure out it is a starter problem. Initially they denied for loaner car and I can understand they are always out of loaner cars. Trevor who is my service adviser, supposed to contact my warranty company to arrange for rental and he forgot. When I repeatedly called since morning, at 4pm he says I have arranged for a loaner car. Fremont BMW never charged me diagnosis fee when they have performed repairs and it's true wherever you go for repairs. I wanted to order my new M3 from them, now I will not even consider. I requested so much about diagnosis fee to manager Scott but they are all very blunt. Overall the treatment was horrible, they have grown too big I guess. I suggest folks going to small dealerships to get better attention than these folks.Excellent experience
by wonderfull on 12/28/2009Very professional dealing with the sales person. Sales person was persistent, was straight forward. No pressure from manager, etc to offer. I dealt only with the sales guy who came through in the end.Best Car Buying Experience Possible
by rayaapp2 on 08/16/2009My Wife and I were looking for a gently used 330i with all the options for a good price. We were Jerked around by [several other dealerships]. We made the drive from Sacramento Ca to Santa Clara(San Jose area) to drive and buy the exact… model we were looking for. Our Salesman was Greg Stone. With him and the Finance Manager Nasser Massis we were able to work out the best possible deal on the 330i we wanted that worked for both us and the dealer. The Finance Manager came in and greeted us and worked out a deal right there in front of us. No hiding in another office and leaving us by ourselves. It was all straight forward. We did our research on the car. Greg Stone is a stand up guy and he is very straight forward. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED You will probably not find a better dealer in all the Bay Area to deal with. Even The Finance Agent Kim was easy to work with. The Finance agent is the person you dread talking with because they have all the extra Warranties they tack on after they "lock you in". She was very quick, knowledgeable, and not pushy. We knew our options, but did not feel obligated to buy them. We have the exact car we have been looking for over the past 7 months, we bought it at the price we wanted, and we loved the experience that we had with Stevens Creek BMWthis is a bought article. These people are nothing nice. just go to yelp and get the real skinny about Stevens Creek BMW!
Bad service poorly trained mechanics
by braco on 05/26/2009First of all appointments mean nothing to this dealership. It is really a first come first serve deal. On one occasion I had to wait an hour to get processed, even though I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. Second, be prepared… to call to ask the status of your car they don't bother to call you to give you an update or to tell you that your car is done. 3rd service advisers argue with customers, yell at them and are generally rude. This hasn't happened to me but I've had the pleasure of listening to my adviser call a customer a lire over the phone on two occasions, and telling them to go to a different dealer if they didn't like their work. Which by the way is an excellent suggestion, and I recommend that you do the same. Lastly my biggest problem with this dealership is their lack of knowledge or ability to diagnose and fix BMWs. I had a loud noise coming from the rear of my car, think very, very loud tire noise. The first time I took my car there, the "head mechanic" took me on a test drive. First he asked how many miles I had on my tires, when I told him 25K that he immediately told me that it was the tires. Never mind the fact that there was plenty of tread left. Than he proceeded to tell me that the noise was normal and that I should turn up the radio to fix the problem, and that no matter how much money you spend your car will always have some noise. I replaced my tires and surprise the noise was still there, so I took my car to another dealer and they told me that it was my right rear axle hub and bearings that had failed. If you value your car and time don't go to this dealer, there are better choices in the area.nice cars don't make up for bad service
by _enthusiast_ on 05/07/2009brought my 2000 M5 in for service in Jan 2009. My car was out of warranty so its an out of pocket expense unlike all the BMW's no older than 4 years with less than 50K miles. I like to keep my cars very well maintained. I arrived 5… minutes early for my appointed 7:30A service Monday. Rather than process those of us waiting to get to work the service team decided that they should process the early bird cars (they started this at 7:30). the result, i sat in my car for 20 minutes to get processed. I finally got to work (10 miles away) at 9AM. this was just the start of a bad experience I was having a service 1, some steering hoses repaired, repair a broken oil filter bracket, had them look into an oil leak and quote a burned out fog lamp. my expectations were I'd get the car back in a day or two (i was carpooling that week) so i had no urgency. I was contacted by service coordinator regarding foglamp cost ($150) and a request to drive the car "up to 30 miles" to diagnose oil leak. I declined the fog lamp and approved the oil leak diagnostic and was told the car would be done in 2 days. I went to pick up car when i was told to and was told it wasn't done. I received an apology for not following up and resetting my expectationsand was I was offered a free loaner; I didn't want to spend any more time with paperwork etc, fortunately my carpool was agreeable. i came back the next day and picked up my car, the coordinator again apologized and knocked 10% off the bill for my trouble. when i went to leave i realized and my car was driven 90 miles. I got out of the car and asked the service coordinator about it, he was polite said, "what do you want me to do?" and asked me if i wanted my tank topped off, needless to say i wasn't happy, this would mean it would be a bit more wait, i declined. When i got home i did a once over and i noticed the passenger seats were repositioned indicating to me someone had gone along for the ride, my engine bay had oil stains. My full tank was down 5 gallons of premium. And i found a air return hose with a crack in it. If you have to pay out of pocket stay away from this service team whose reliance on the funds from BMWNA does nothing to incent them to delight the customer. Make sure you check your mileage going in and coming out. i sold the car a month later, and replaced it with a carrera.Overal Excellent Service
by daedalus34r on 02/27/2009My 3 series needed an engine repair. I used the simple online interface and booked my appointment. Showed up on time and dropped off my car to my service adviser. All went straightforward until he tried to sell some bodywork service… [small door-ding removal]. First offer was like $200... then after i declined twice price dropped to $125. I feel bad for anyone that actually takes him up on the first offer. Kind of shady. The courtesy shuttle dropped me off to my residence quickly, i was at the dealership for no more than 5 minutes after i dropped off the car. Due to my scheduling conflicts, i couldn't pick up the car that evening [ they had completed all the work in one day], and I was able to pick the car up no problem the next business day and received a complimentary car wash. for those that book their appointment about two weeks in advance, you CAN get a loaner regardless of whether you purchased from them or not. If you're short on time they have an in-dealership car rental agent if you really need some wheels. Overall I was really satisfied with this dealership, its very large and is probably the biggest in the bay area. Lots of staff an amenities like cafe in the service waiting area. -------- Another story:: I had to buy a car cover. i called [another dealership] and their phonelines weren't even working. id get some default 'this number is not in service' response. I called up Stevens Creek right away and got quick responses, turns out they had what i needed and i picked it up shortly after.Best ever new car buying experience
by dbinetti on 10/01/2008What a phenomenal experience! My best ever for a new car by far.... My wife and I are having our first child and needed something a bit bigger to make up for all the baby stuff. I have to say that I wasn't looking forward to the new… car buying process -- yuk! But from top to bottom it was exceptional. Seriously, like it was great. The single most important thing was that the SCBMW guys listened to what I asked. For instance, I asked them to respond in email -- they did that. I asked them not to go through the whole 'back and forth' and just tell me what I needed to knwo --they did that. I asked questions on the phone and they got back to me quickly. It was super. I shopped around (quite a bit, in fact) and the Steven's Creek guys were the only ones who didn't pull the whole standard "you gotta buy right now" stuff. They just gave me a great price right out of the gate, and then took the rest of the time answering questions -- not trying to put me into a different car, not trying to sell me other stuff -- just answering the questions that I asked. I mean, it was like seriously that good. In particular, Franco Karzag who sold us the car, was an easy-going, "how can I help" type guy. And then, when we came in, the manager (Paul Carruba) was also great. When we went to the finance person he was the same way: "here's the extras: want anything? OK, cool" I kept waiting for the situation to go bad but it never did. So I'd recommend checking them out. Really great experience....Efficient, straightforward buying experience
by stevep7 on 01/22/2012updated 08/05/2025I worked with Ron Ryan. He promptly answered email inquiries. Unlike some other dealers, he did not provide pressure to visit the dealership until after he'd provided a clear expectation of what he had in stock and what I would pay. I… appreciated the straightforward nature of the buying experience.WAY OVERPRICED !!!
by innajl on 04/23/2011updated 08/05/2025I leased my X5 from them 2008. Time for me to lease a new one. This time I did a bit more research on the internet in BMW forums. I found a nice quote and had 3 other dealesrhips in the area matching it. But Stevens Creek refused to… match. I ended up paying LESS for my lease for 2012 BMW than for my 2008 one. And in 2008 the cars were in the lot and did not have to be ordered 5 weeks in advance. I feel stupid for getting my first X5 from them. Do your homework and avoid them as they have enough gullible people to keep them going so they don't have to really compete.
