Going to a dealer isn't as practical, per say, in today's economy, but it's dependable and I canโฆ always count on the KM Hyundai team to take care. I usually work with Nick, also fantastic for similar reasons, so this really tells me there is a culture of fine service. I appreciate this more than anything, thanks SO much Team KMH, and I'll be back for my next service appointment. Excellent customer service, woefully understaffed service department
by Anne B. on 07/07/2025I have bought 7 cars over my 80 years. As a small, submissive-looking female, buying a car has always been a hassle until I came to Kearny Mesa Hyundai. Oscar Martinez made the process easy and comfortable, just facts, no gimmicks. Iโฆ count him as one of my friends. Isaac and Sean in the service department do the best they can to check in customers, always courteous and friendly even when the lines are long. I have never found the same customer service at other dealers in San Diego when I owned a Kia, a Subaru, a Mazda, or a Chevy. Scheduled a service for nothing
by No service on 07/03/2025I scheduled a service a week out. Showed up for my scheduled service and service advisor told us it will take 4-6 weeks for a technician to look at our Hyundai. What is the appointment for? They would not even look at the car that we madeโฆ an appointment for. I asked if we can just make an appointment 4-6 weeks out for them to diagnosis the our concerns and they said we are too busy. Making an appointment means nothing
by 24 Sante Fe on 05/23/2025After making an appointment 10 days prior and the dealership contacting me at least 3 times to confirm, I arrived for my appointment 30 minutes early only to be told it would be 3 to 4 hours before they would get to my car. I only made theโฆ appointment because the service department.called me to say a part for my car had been received. I wasn't sure what the part was except possibly a key fob. I only guessed this because at the time of purchase, the dealership only had one fob to give me. I agreed to the appointment and was told, if that was the case, it would only take about 30 minutes to program the fob to my car. Once I arrived, the service agent was unsure of what my appointment was for. I repeated the fob story and he went to verify. When he returned he stated that it would take 3 to 4 hours before they could work on it. I, of course, had other obligations, so had no choice but to "reschedule". It is a 20 mile drive to this dealership and when I asked if they could send the fob to a dealership near me, the answer was no. So, I will need to drive another 40 miles to go to another appointment which will probably not be honored again.Hi, we regret to hear that you had this experience with us. She was able to answer all my questions and provide more information to help me understand the servicesโฆ recommended. She also scheduled a Lyft for me when I couldnโt find a ride back: Brittany was on top of it all! Great communication and very nice to talk to. Oil change & tire rotation.

Came in for my 25 Konaโs first service, took no more than 2 hours from drop off, with several cars in front of mine.very pleased with the turn around time on a Saturday. Itโs not alwaysโฆ ideal being without a vehicle for several hours on a weekend, and Iโm glad I didnโt have to experience that. Iโve gone over their work, checking oil filter, drain plug, and I requested a specific tire orientation on the rotation, and they did it as requested. Glad I can have peace of mind moving forward with my Konaโs future services. Thanks again, Kearny Mesa Hyundai. Not helpful at all
by Iunsatisfied on 05/01/2025Went for a recall & they wanted to charge me $245 to wait for a part to open the hood , they wanted me to wait till Friday for the part. When I got into the car, the wire was stuck up inside of the top of the car, and it was intact. And Iโฆ opened the hood myself,there was nothing wrong with it,I left and I will never return to that location ever.
