I got no high pressure, no constant calls, No run around, just good solid customer service. Jonny Del La Cruz was great. Answered all my questions, got me a… fair deal on my trade-in, and went through all of the new features of my new truck in great detail. This experience was what I always wished car buying could be. After family discussion, we called Dustin and asked him to get the car ready. The… paperwork was assembled and signed and we were out in less than an hour. Again, no pressure to buy expensive add-ons or junk. One of the best car buying experiences I've ever had.Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. Jonny De La Cruz, our sales manager, extended a TrueCar price to us that we were going to drive to the Bay Area for...but he honored the price & made the trade… in of our old Avalon a seamless process. We could not be more pleased with the service we received, the friendliness of everyone at the dealership, and the respect with which we were treated. Would highly recommend Jonny or anyone from the dealership!Very pleased! Great/easy purchase

Quality Used Car

Talked with Sophia Sayad, gave her our requirements, etc. Because of my work schedule, took about 10 days to actually get to the dealership. Spoke with both Sophia, and Mario… in Finance. Options were discussed, some accepted, some declined, never pressured, either way. Drove off with the vehicle we originally wanted. Great experience, just the opposite of what we had planned for.Thank you for sharing your review of your recent "great" experience at Maita Toyota. Great car, great price

I'm a first-time financer, and the salesmen I worked with were both very helpful in navigating the process. First of all, they had to custom order the car… because the interior/exterior color combination I wanted is apparently not very common. When I was in today to purchase, they made sure I got the college graduate rebate that I had no idea even existed :) While I was waiting for the finance paperwork to go through, I ran into the service manager near the cafe, which is a great addition to the waiting lounge for someone who's hungry every 3 hours (me :) ). He asked if I was waiting for a service, and I told him I was buying a new car, but planned to bring it back to get serviced at this store, and he reminded me of the free services I get for 2 years. (I think that's something I'm getting because I'm financing through Toyota.) Moral of the story, the staff at Maita are the reason I keep coming back and will keep coming back. Thanks for my beautiful new Rav4!!Loyal & Happy member for 17 yrs.
by taszmama on 08/12/2014I have been a loyal customer for 17 yrs. The service adviser I have had is the main reason why I kept coming back but I have my favorites in other departments. Steve Maita is personable and available, unlike other dealerships. Management… takes concerns seriously and they are easier to work with over other dealerships. Another local place in Roseville played games in the sales dept and I have never had this issue at Maita. I have been a part of buying a car directly for myself and family members for new/ used so this says a lot considering customer service is highly valuable to me.Great Dealership

by mamawelder on 08/19/2009Was shopping for a used (original style) Scion XB. Went to Miata Toyota Scion of Sacramento. They had one I thought I may be interested in. It looked good, but I asked about an obvious freshly painted rear bumper and front left fender. I… noticed drips of paint on headlight lens. I was told they were just touching up scratches and that was routine repair work. I asked for the Car Fax and they dodged that question and never provided. They then offered me $2,000 less than the lowest trade in value of my low mile good condition trade-in. When we talked about final price the wouldn't total up tax and license even though I asked repeatedly....My gut feeling was bad so I walked out. Got the car fax later myself and found the car was in an accident, had two owners, got repo'd ect..... Not a trustworthy dealer IMO. I later found the perfect XB at another dealer. They were awesome! I wouldn't recommend Miata Toyota Scion of Sacramento to any of my family or friends.Great Service Keeps Me Coming Back!

This was my first time driving a Toyota and I was so happy with it and with John's service that I came back to Maita a month later to buy a Toyota Tacoma for my husband. John… was so patient and really knew his stuff and after researching, I feel confident I got the best deal at Maita. He made what I saw as a dreadful experience into one that was smooth and without drama. No surprises, just a good deal… presented and finished quickly. Also I notice that the cars at their lot have no new car price stickers on the window. When I bought the car at the other dealer, I need to sign and agree the dealer… to remove the sticker for me.excellent service

My sales person Sarah was very nice & courteous, and very promp in returning my call with answers to my… questions. I wish I could say the negotiation for my trade was so smooth and easy. My "handler," Matthew, who went back & forth between me & the 4 men behind the glass wall, was friendly. However, the multiple low-ball offers he presented to for my trade, in spite of my firm standing based on my edmunds.com research, left me with the feeling that his niceness was a way to placate me, and made me feel like his nice nature was fake. This made me less & less interested in dealing with him, and he seemed to not listen to me about the 'haggling' that I clearly stated I wanted to avoid. As a result of the back & forth, I feel like two hours of my time was wasted unnecessarily. Otherwise, I had an overall pleasant experience, and the final paperwork flowed quickly and effortlessly. Would I recommend them again? It depends on if the person who I was recommending to had a trade or not.Highly Recommended

I have purchased vehicles from 9 other dealerships in the Sacramento area over the past 32 years. Until I met Mehdi I always said I didn't like car… salesmen. Mehdi is very professional and knowledgeable. I would and have recommended him to family and friends. by rafjosrey on 10/26/2011updated 08/02/2025After a couple of months of looking for a 4Runner, I found a nice certified 2008 SR5 at Maita that was listed on Auto Trader. There was no picture up yet, but after inquiring on line, I received a quick response from Mehdi, the internet… manager. He told me the vehicle was being prepared, and photos would be up soon. Later that afternoon, as promised, the pictures were up, and I figured that I better jump on it now that the entire internet community can see how sweet this ride is. We agreed on the final selling price, then Mehdi helped me apply for a loan, appraise my trade in, and find me financing all via email and phone. This saved A LOT of time. The next morning, I headed up from the Bay Area with my wife and newborn. We arrived at the dealership just before noon, and I called to let Mehdi know we were there. As soon as I stepped out of my car, the feeding frenzy began as no less than 3 salesmen approached me. I said, I'm here to see Mehdi, and they all dispersed. Mehdi came out and showed me the vehicle, which was super clean except for some dings in the interior ceiling, and a musty-but-just-detailed smell. Everything checked out so I requested a test drive. He let me install the infant car seat, then let us take off down the freeway on our own as he appraised my old car. Very cool, as it made for a low pressure test drive that really let me concentrate on the vehicle. We got back to the lot and started the final process. Mehdi had good news: my old car appraised at $700 more than the Auto Trader value. More good news, they were able to stretch my loan a little to get my monthly payments down. Even more good news, they got me another 1% less on my interest rate. He showed me the printout of the total price of the car, down payment, etc. When I was comfortable with the numbers, he sent us in to see the sales manager Mario, who had all of our papwork typed up and ready for my signatures. Mario was a nice guy who was sympathetic to the fact that we had an infant in the room, and didn't want to keep us too long. He offered to sell us 3 additional items at this point: Extended warranty, Car alarm, and Gap coverage. I passed on the extended warranty because I got the Certified warranty, and because it's a Toyota. I don't like the fact that they install the KARR alarm on all vehicles and just disable it (as opposed to removing it) if you opt not to purchase it. Gap is always a good idea. Mario got me the alarm and gap for a "discounted" price, so I went for those two. We drove off satisfied with the 4Runner, the process, and the people we dealt with. The moral of the story is to know exactly what you are looking for and take advantage of Internet car shopping! Deal with fleet or internet managers only, and get all the paperwork, loan info, and other details out of the way before you even set foot on the lot. The whole process only took about 2.5 hours.Outstanding!
