Gonsalo and his team, really worked hard to provide us with the best. Get us the best price for the new 2025 Explorer. They worked hard to get us what we were looking for I would highly recommend them and would also give them A+

    my experience was very welcoming. As soon as I expressed how much I could spend the dealer was able to meet my budget with a Chevy. I was not pressured into purchasing anything extra,even though I did purchase the extended warranty. The office was warm and cozy. Everyone was working and I was satisfied with the choice I made.

    Very great service with this service department, Ivan Tapia was very helpful with my truck services he explained everything very well. Did not have to wait for a long appt date or time. Highly recommend this young gentlemen with any service issues.

    This purchase was by far the easiest, fastest, stress free experience I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. They listened to my preferences, respected my choices, and were never pushy. The price point was more than reasonable. I very happy with the terms of my purchase. Between the finance manager and the sales associate Christian, it was a pleasure doing business with Porterville Ford.

    We were almost completely satisfied with this experience. We have a low opinion of car dealerships in general (and wish more of them would work to dispell that stereotype), but this one was not too bad. We felt that the salesperson we worked with was very professional, helpful, and accommodating to us, as we were traveling a long distace to purchase a specific truck that had proven hard to find. We were happy with all aspects of the transactoin until we were signing documents, and discovered that we were expected to pay an additonal amount above the agreed upon sticker price, for a lowjack device, because it was "already installed," as well as etching which had been done to the vehicle. To add this on top of the sticker price without pointing it out to the buyer is dishonest. It's also not very smart business, as we likely would not have pushed back had the lowjack been rolled into the sticker price. We probably wouldn't have noticed. But to add it on at the end and then expect us to sign a document agreeing to the extra charge just seems dishonest, and we did refuse to pay it. Thankfully the manager was very nice about it and removed the charge when we told them we had not been informed about it ahead of time. What was ironic about this was, we had literally had this exact experience at a different dealership, with a completely different car purchase, just recently. So, buyer beware, this lowjack bait-and-switch seems to be an industry-wide scheme that dealerships are trying to pull. Don't pay the extra charge.

    By far the best car buying experience I've ever had. I live in Fresno, about an hour away, and it was well worth the drive. I worked with Kenny who was awesome. He was able to get me and my family into the vehicle we wanted for the price we wanted. They were straight forward and open about everything from the vehicle to the financing. Great people and definitely recommend.

    Since I've had my my Ford Fiesta I have had great service. But when I took my car in for a recall part I was told it would take one full day for them to have my car and they had it for 3 full days. That's a long time not to have a car. I do understand that they get busy but I would like to be told up front how long service will take so I can plan better for it. But over all I'm still happy with Porterville Ford. And I love my car. Note, because it was a recall I did not have to pay for its replacement.

    Just left the Porterville Ford dealership from returning a vehicle back to them! My parents were there on Monday trading in a vehicle to purchase a new one. They found a vehicle they loved, a 2015 Toyota Sienna van. After working with the dealership after a while they came to an agreement of taking and paying off my parent's trade and settling on an APR and term that met the monthly payment my parents could afford. Of course after going to finance department they always tack on extras here and there ultimately making the payment a little more than what they were wanting, but that goes along with any dealership. However, my parents were told that the dealership was too busy that night to get the final approval from the bank but that it shouldn't be a problem to get it finalized at what they all agreed upon. They took my parents trade, my parents signed a contract and was given the van to take home. My father is Filipino and came here as a teenager and still has trouble understanding things. However, anyone, regardless of how well they understand things or not would assume that after signing a binding contract and being told there shouldn't be any problems, this is what we can get you, so go ahead and take the vehicle, would assume that everything is going to work out right?! WRONG!!! 4 days later they get a call that they got the financing finalized and it's at even better. Guess what that even better was?! A higher APR, a lesser term, and a HIGHER MONTHLY PAYMENT!!! Yea yea, I understand in the long run they might be paying lesser because it's a shorter term but for those of us that live paycheck to paycheck, a higher monthly payment then what was promised doesn't seem like it's a better deal to me! I also understand that by law this whole method of giving customers the vehicle and seller can possibly take vehicle back and cancel sale is not against the law to some dealerships, and for sure this specific dealership, it's A-OKAY! In most cases, these things work out they told me. Well yea but not in all cases right? So it's ok for you to tell customers this is what we can promise you, this should work out no problem, and now all you have to do is pay $75 more or you can give us car back after you've had it for a few days, after you've fallen in love with it, after you've shown all your friends and family your new vehicle, it's ok because it's not against the law. I think that's complete bull! It's not against law but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth! It makes the people who have to return the vehicle feel [non-permissible content removed]! It's such a tease and should not be practiced! A vehicle shouldn't be given to them until everything is finalized, set in stone! This is the second time something like this has happened to my parents but luckily enough the first time, that dealership was willing to work with my parents and lower the vehicle price enough to accommodate the payment they all agreed upon. Porterville Ford said they couldn't do anything more and literally left us sitting for over an hour to have my mom sign papers to return the vehicle. All in all, I think the whole situation was handled poorly. If you make a promise as a business, you should keep it, and not get your customers hopes up on a maybe. And if what you promise falls through, you should do everything in your power to fix it or maneuver it to work out for the customer. Stay far away from this dealership if you don't want to deal with shady false promises!!
