  • Victory Chevrolet and Cadillac

A pleasant encounter. Price of service was a bit more than going to an independent mechanic but knowledge and quality of team outweigh cost.

  • New Purchase Horrible Experience

1 out of 5 starsby CGodfrey on 05/26/2017

Bought a brand new 2017 Silverado and the truck has been in the shop more days than we've been able to enjoy it. Experience with how Sales Manager, Damien, has handled this was below average. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Truck has already had multiple repairs and dealership unwilling to work with us to resolve all issues. Won't even offer a rental for the time necessary to fix all repairs. The multiple issues have not all been resolved and we're expected to drive it with what they think is a "transmission" issue on top of having a door latch and switch replaced, bad brake fluid switch and a high speed shimmy issue. Huge safety concern for a Mom driving her children! Complaints will be filed with the States Attorney and the Better Business Bureau. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

  • Outstanding Service Department

My 07 Tahoe has been serviced always at Victory Chevrolet - where I purchased it in 06. I'm at 200K and nary a major problem yet. I attribute this to my adherence to the recommended service schedule and the quality of the work that is provided. Dennis P is my service liaison. He's polite, on time and knowledgeable. He never up sells which is a quality I appreciate. I'll buy my next truck at Victory and you just might be able to guess where I'll have it serviced!

  • Victory Chevrolet Rick Magliari. Best Sales Experience.

5 out of 5 starsby shamrockmike on 02/20/2016

I went to buy a used truck I saw online. I liked the price but in person it was missing some things I really wanted. That's why it was cheaper. Rick Magliari my sales rep was helpful not pushy. I said sorry this isn't for me. He said lets look at new. Nope. I haven't bought a new truck since 1988. The reasons are I liked the better price of used and the service was always a disaster. Once I was out the door don't bother us. I purchased a new BMW in 2013. My mid life crisis gift to myself. I thought my luxury car experience would be different. Not much. The only time I hear from BMW is to try to sell me another car. When I went for first service they said I should get an alignment. The car had 3000 miles. Are you kidding. And it was over 300 bucks. I said why so much. Because we are computerized. Really..... Well I don't think Wheel Works uses a hammer and eyeballs it. Pass. My BMW sales rep. Never a phone call. Just emails and cards to buy again. Rick Magliari was the best. No BS just a pleasant experience. So as we walk to see the new ones the truck that was exactly what I wanted was there. But of course lots more $$$$. He said let me talk to manager and I'll be back. Wow I didn't get stuck in the dreaded cubicle that I hate. He came back said here's our best price. Well considering I was getting a new truck that had all the options I wanted and the color I wanted it really seemed fair. I have a little business so I'm not going to brow beat the sales reps. I want a good price but I can't stand people who will spend an hour over a few hundred bucks. I'm not going to spend days driving around either. Here is the reason I am writing this review. This was the best new car experience I've had. And I waited a month to write this review because I wanted to see what happened after the purchase. Rick has followed up on everything. He is the best. BMW didn't impress me at all. I may have purchased a Chevy truck. But I got Cadillac treatment. Oh. And Chevy gps. Runs circles around BMW. Truck rides better too. And no " I - Drive " me crazy knob. If you have a Beamer you know.
  • Good service; facilities not up to par

3 out of 5 starsby spartycal on 02/17/2016

This was my second service visit to Victory. It's primarily a Chevy dealer, and I have a Cadillac. Staff is friendly, and car was delivered on time. My only issue is the facility. The service entry and check in is small, crowded, and somewhat disorganized. The waiting area is awful, especially for a fairly new building dealing in luxury vehicles. Two old couches and two small chairs between the door and the service desk. Doesn't compare to BMW, MB, Lexus very favorably. That said, the wi-fi was good, and that saved my day.
  • Very good buying experience.

They were very pleasant, timely, and courteous. For the purchase it was great, no pressure, easy test drive, no games with the sales team. There was a little confusion about some exchanged email negotiations, but as soon as I pointed out the oversight they immediately honored it with no attempt to wiggle out. I've bought several new cars in my life, and this was straight forward and honest, as the process should be. Do your homework, know what you want, set a reasonable price expectation and go in and negotiate, or use True Car or similar, and save your self the 'poker game' process, either way, high marks for Jose, Rick, Mark and Christi. Thanks.
  • Great service

The dealership fulfilled everything they said they would do, and where we've always had a great experience with them.
  • Problem free purchase

    5 out of 5 starsby rusty4 on 10/01/2015

Aside from some confusion regarding an email exchange dealing with details of price and configuration of our new Volt (and I don't think it was anything nefarious, just a function of dealing with several different people) we got the car at a great price, and basically how we wanted it. The salesman Jose was very helpful, and Rick, Mark and Christi in the office were all very pleasant. No pressure, no problem. Just be sure you know what you want, and what you expect to pay - lay it out, use edmunds or truecar or such if you hate negotiating to set a price. I've had my truck serviced there as well, and they found the problem that two other shops failed to sort out.

  • Great Customer Service

5 out of 5 starsby petaluma on 08/13/2015

I bought my truck at Victory Chevrolet and have it serviced there regularly. The service staff is courteous and attentive to requests, the job is always done on time. If there is a hitch in the service they give you a call right away to talk things over. They know your time is important and that you have other choices for service - they appreciate that and provide great customer service.
  • Nest Cadillac service I've ever had

5 out of 5 starsby JonMarchant on 05/15/2015

Took my Cadillac in to fix an electrical gremlin. The service department called me daily to update me on their progress, which is VERY different from two other area Cadillac dealers. Problem solved.
  • I would not return to this dealership!

1 out of 5 starsby sophiawinter on 05/01/2015

We just purchased a 2012 Cadillac Escalade from this dealership. The sales guy we had was new, so we were patient with him. However, the car had some minor issues, and so they were supposed to correct them before we picked up the car after purcahse. This took approximately 7 days to correct. There was no communication between the dealership to update us on when the car would be ready. During the sale, they were basically unwilling to negotiate on the price. We agreed to pa y the asking price as long as the items were fixed. Of course they wanted us to purcahse an extended warranty and the cilajet fabric and paint protectant. When we picked up the car, the door was scratched, there were no covers on the valve stems on the tires and the windshield had a small chip in it. I'm thinking, doesn't someone look over the work before you deliver the vehicle? Of course we will have to go back to get that all fixed. On top of it, the car was on empty so when we drove away, we had to immediately go buy gas. I had to call the next day to find the other set of keys. I told the manager about the fact it was left on empty. He told me that they are "not allowed" to fill used cars up…really? No apologies and made me feel as though I was being picky or a complainer. Another woman in finace told me, "you know the car is used…it's not going to be perfect". I didn't expect it to be perfect but I did expect for them to fix the things they said they were going to fix. When you spend $50,000 plus on a car, you expect to at least get gas with it! I will not be returning, their customer service is completely lacking to say the least!
  • Very Happy with Service Department

I was leaving in two days for a 2000 mile trip, and realized that I needed my truck serviced. I called Josh and he really helped me out by giving me a next day appointment. He was very nice and helpful, answering all of my questions and having the work completed at the time promised. I was impressed and very satisfied.
  • The Worst, a service contract with no service

1 out of 5 starsby mrpaultee on 10/14/2014

I don't usually vent out loud about poor service but the service at Victory Chevrolet in Petaluma, CA was so bad I'm thinking going to court. We purchased an Equinox and bought an exterior sealant called 'cilajet' and purchased a 'dent and ding' warranty. We purchased the car on July 23 and filed a claim to fix a dent on August 27. The insurance company denied our claim because Victory had not purchased the insurance in our name. Our money was not appropriated as it should have been. They kept our money! It subsequently took 16 days talking to eight people (several calls not returned). Then we met with Victories Sales Manager after being kept in wait for almost two hours.. He agreed to return our money (pro-rated). That did seem fair since the product 'cilajet' had been applied. That was Monday, Sept. 15,2014. He called us that evening and would have an answer for us the next day. He did not call the next day or the day after but avoided us for one week. " He just left," "he is not responding to his page" or "he is in a meeting". We called five times the rest of that week finding his behavior rude, unprofessional and a game. He finally returned our sixth call on Monday September 22 @ 9:05 and we came to a standstill but he was to call us back by 10:am. He did not.. By 2:30 I gave up and sent him a letter outlining as I have above. He still hasn't called.
  • They really impressed me!

Yesterday I was driving down 101 going 65mph and my steering wheel seemed to lock up with no warning. My power steering light came on on my dashboard and the next several minutes were slightly scary as I worked to maneuver myself off the highway. Luckily, I was able to get off the road safely. With some research online, I learned that my car had a power steering recall from Chevrolet. I called Victory Chevrolet based mostly on the fact that it was the closest dealership to where I was. They dispatched a tow truck, came and got my car and made sure I had a safe ride home. Within a few hours, they had diagnosed the problem, fixed it and sent a shuttle to pick me up and take me to pick up my vehicle, which is now working perfectly again. They did all of this (tow truck and shuttle included) with no hassle whatsoever. I was super impressed by the level of professionalism and speed with which this matter was handled. And, they did a full inspection of the rest of my car and determined that it was in full working condition before they gave it back to me. The next time I'm in the market to purchase a vehicle, this place will certainly be high on my list.
