by A on 03/09/2025I had a fantastic experience at Toyota Pasadena thanks to Manny. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. Manny took the time to answer all my questions and ensure I was comfortable… with every step of the process. His manager was also very supportive and made the experience even better. Both of them were professional, kind, and made me feel valued as a customer. I highly recommend Manny and his team for a smooth and enjoyable car-buying experience!Incredible sales service and price
by Rocket Pete on 08/26/2024The sales team worked together and bent over backwards, staying late to ensure I was able to drive off the lot with a great car at a great price, same day. This is the best dealership I ever encountered. It is well run and family owned.… Normally, I do not like car sales people, but the team here is well managed, knowledgeable, honest, competent, and works together to meet the customer’s needs.

Great sales team
by James Prior on 10/24/2022I went to Toyota of Pasadena, to check on a vehicle, not with intention to buy a vehicle. We met with Jack and he showed us a new 4 runner. Gave us a great deal so we bought it.Sales Review
by Rebecca on 05/19/2022Alex Fernandez was exceptional in helping me make the purchase of my car. I am very happy with the customer service from the sales staff that helped me. I highly recommend Toyota of Pasadena.Great Customer Service
by Bri C on 06/08/2021They are very helpful. If you are one to ask a lot of questions, they are able to answer them. Everyone was very helpful. I didn’t feel like I was being got by the male gender dominant industry. Every step of the was great. The finance guy… was great. I definitely would by another vehicle from them again with the experience I had a young lady.Joseph & Arisela 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport
by JosephandAriselaMedina on 10/06/2019After attempting to get a deal from a couple of local Ventura County dealerships, I just purchased a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport from Sam Khachatrian from Toyota of Pasadena. I realize that the dealerships had incentive's for the 2019, but I had… my heart set on the 2020. Two months ago, I reached out to Sam via emails, texts, and phone calls...maybe carrier pigeons came into play. Anyway, Sam would ALWAYS get back to me within minutes of me reaching out to him. He worked extremely quick to search and find the particular color and options I wanted, along with a GREAT deal. He hit a GRAND SLAM and dealer traded to get my Tacoma. The wife and I went to Pasadena and met with Sam and his associate Max Rozen. FIVE STARS!!! He made the TOTAL experience very enjoyable, explaining every step from showing us the Tacoma, to the Test Drive, and to going thru the paperwork. We feel like we have known him for a long time and consider him a good friend. I am so glad I happened to "STUMBLE" on the CARPRO USA talkshow, one Saturday on 1070 KNX. It was worth the 70 mile drive to Pasadena. Thanks again, Sam. I would recommend you anytime!!!!!Awesome Experience
by Bonnie on 07/18/2018updated 07/27/2018The staff at Toyota Pasadena is truly helpful and attentive. I spoke with the GSM, Chad, who was able to help me find the perfect vehicle that fit my needs and price range. I highly recommend this dealershipReliable
by edj424 on 04/28/2015Anjelica Benitez made buying the car we wanted simple, fast and easy. We're happy with the car we got, at the price and terms quoted. They have the best pricing among some Toyota dealerships around. No Pressure-Decent Experience
by techguy4 on 11/07/2014Dave was great, I came in looking at a Camry and ended up with a Prius, nice car, never in a million years did I think I would drive one, but looks aside, the comfort and handling sold me.Fantastic
by dfrancois94 on 08/27/2014Toyota Pasadena really took care of me during my car-buying experience. Their prices are honest, and I'll definitely be back next time. Also, Jay is the man. He's the guy to look for.Outstanding customer service by Pasadena Toyota INTERNET SALES DEPT !!!!
by pegr on 10/30/2010My husband totaled his 08 Toyota Corolla LE and I used Edmonds.com again to find a new Corolla Le with Comfortably options at TMV. I negoiated online with several dealership Internet sales depts. and received the lowest price quote from… Pasadena Toyota. PASADENA WAS THE ONLY DEARERSHIP TO OFFER THREE OPTION PACKAGES BELOW TMV. I applied online through Toyota for financing and qualified for low interest loan. I did this all in the comfort of my home while relaxing on my bed with laptop on my bed tray watching TV. I downloaded my price quote before walking into the dealership. We spent an hour at the dealership finalizing the purchase and were treated in a very professional manner with special attention to our personal needs ie, coffee, calling our insurance co. giving new vin number of vehicle. I've never received such comprehensive service at a dealership before. Peg Pasadena, Ca.the reason dealers have such a bad rep
by dhaas1 on 01/20/2009I thought we were beyond the typical slimy sales tactics used so often in the past but Toyota of Pasadena has taken slime to a new level. EVERY car - even the Scions are pre-installed with a GPS security system ($1500 added to sticker) and… Bluetooth hands free system ($1000 added to sticker). So you have to get them to take those out but they REALLY want to buy them - and taking them out would be a "huge hassle". Of course - the prices of those items are flexible. You might even get the Bluetooth for $500! Or you get buy your own at Best Buy for $20.I said I would buy the Prius if I could get it at sticker (when the were going for over sticker) and the salesman said OK. They peeled the sticker off and the price negotiations started - and guess what - I ended up paying more than sticker - because they used the the old 'negotiate on payments' technique instead of the bottom line price. You don't get to see the bottom line price until you are in the finance department - and by then your head is swimming with number so you don't rememebr what the sticker price on the car said. And if you have a trade-in vehicle - be prepared to get screwed. Avoid this dealership! They are truly [violative content deleted]. The industry would be better off without them.Don't buy here
by lindafantastic on 12/30/2008Pushy salespeople, deceitful sell tactics. I came in, told them the total price I wanted to pay. They kept coming up with monthly payment plans that resulted in figures higher than the price I told them. When I told them I couldn't pay that… much, they would tell me to wait and they would talk to someone higher up. Three people ended up coming out to try to convince me, and two hours later the price they quoted was still 500 above what I wanted to pay. With good credit, as well as cash in hand, they still wanted to squeeze every penny out of me. Over a week later, they are still calling me. I ended up buying an F-series truck from a Ford dealer instead. When a Toyota salesperson called me, I let him know and he said "Oh, you should have never done that!" What, excuse me? They try to manipulate the buyer saying things like, "I need to sell a car to keep my job" (which is probably true) and "What did I do wrong?" and "You're not going to get a lower rate anywhere else." The total price they quoted me had an unexplained 600 fee. They said it was part of the taxes and paperwork, which were roughly 10%. I pointed out that the fees they were quoting me were well over 10% and then they made up that the 600 fee was for an alarm system. No matter how awful a price they give you they come back saying "Great news!" and completely disregard anything you say. Reluctant to answer questions. They write down the numbers they want and write and write and talk and talk in an attempt to confuse you.Awesome / Outstanding Sales and Services
by Upanddownman on 08/26/2013updated 08/03/2025I proudly declare my five TOYOTA purchases from PASADENA TOYOTA (Sienna, PriusV and Prius for my daughters, PriusC and Sienna for me and my wife). I found CECILLE B. to have a very pleasing and sincere personality together with the rest of… the PASADENA TOYOTA STAFF.easy deal
by mike746 on 02/26/2013updated 08/03/2025Called the internet department and made a great deal! They were very nice. Very pleasant and got the car I wanted at a great price.Beware of Toyota of Pasadena...
by junkdude1 on 07/09/2012updated 08/03/2025I recently purchased a car from Toyota of Pasadena and I must say that they are shady... Even after I told them that I was going to write a check for the car, they financed the car without telling me and basically used my check to pay off… the loan, probably so that they could get a kick back from the financing bank. I only found out about this when I met with the Finance person to sign all of the paperwork. And even then, he didn't tell me about it...when I saw the paperwork and told the Finance person that I was not financing the vehicle but was going to write a check for it, he said "no problem, that's your choice. You can write a check of it and we'll pay off the loan or you can finance it.". I think this all began when the salesperson asked for my SSN and the types of information that would be used to apply for a loan. When I asked him what this was for because I was not going to finance the vehicle but write a check for it, he said that they have to run a credit check to see if they can accept a personal check from me. And all this was before we even began discussing the price. And the salesperson was [non-permissible content removed].... They had an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times that day so I took it in with me and when I showed it to him, his questions were: 1. "Are you sure this is our ad (even though it had 'Toyota of Pasadena' on it)?"; 2. "Are you sure this is in today's paper (even though it had that day's date on it)?". And after they agreed to match a previous quote that I got from another Toyota dealer (which I should have gone to thinking back now...), the salesman told me "oh by the way, we installed an alarm system on the car which wasn't listed on the window sticker so it will be an additional $695. Right. I told him to remove this alleged 'alarm system' because I didn't want it and they were able to remove this 'alarm system' in about 5-minutes... Hmmm... And the delivery process? The salesman drove the car up from the car wash area, handed me the two sets of keys, and told me to read the owner's manual and let me know if I have any questions. Oh, and to give him all high scores when Toyota contacts me with a survey. Right. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Toyota of Pasadena for anything, not even the complimentary Toyota Care service, even though I only live 10-minutes from them. I will gladly drive further to not have to deal with Toyota of Pasadena. Beware of Toyota of Pasadena.Very Nice Experience
by MMPasadena on 07/11/2013updated 08/03/2025Phil S. in internet/fleet sales is a sweet, very knowledgeable guy. No pressure, just a little back and forth and we hammered a deal pretty quick. Before we concluded he showed us the car inside and out, made sure we were familiar with it.… The whole thing from arrival to drive off, including test drive, took maybe 3 hours -- and that ain't bad. Love our Prius! Not What I Expected
by Meritcavs10e on 08/24/2013updated 08/03/2025Buying a car for me was never easy. So, the previous times I bought my cars, I went through brokers. I felt the extra cost was worth it. Now that I'm retired, I decided to save the fee. Since I wanted a hybrid, I contacted Toyota first. The… experience was totally not what I expected. Cecille was very friendly and professional. She listened to my requests and limitations. She didn't push her own agenda. She explained the pros and cons of leasing a car against buying. I am now a happy owner of a 2013 Prius.Great Dealership
by lakingsdodgers on 08/21/2013updated 08/03/2025I was shopping around for a Toyota Camry and ended up contacting Andy B. from the internet department. He was very helpful with my questions and I ended up leasing a Camry SE from him. I will return to him and when my lease is up.Unprofessional Internet Sales Group
by cannonball3 on 05/22/2013updated 08/03/2025I've never transacted with any internet sales staff as unprofessional as Jeff at this dealership. Bottom line, the sales staff was outright rude and presumably the dealership's prices were not competitive (I will likely never know because… they would not share prices via email, which means one thing--only--to me). Other than that, I don't really care to say anything more than I have... I'll let Jeff's email responses speak for themselves (see below). In my first email response from Jeff, he concluded his email with (direct paste) "In another note... i dont practice giving my lowest price via email. If you wish to visit the store i will be here today all day." In a subsequent email from Jeff where I let him know I would only visit the dealership if I knew if they had the vehicle I wanted at a price that I would consider, he responded with this (direct paste, totally outrageous)... "Once you get your lowest offer, email me it with the vin # and then i will tell you if it makes any sense. Otherwise, Thank you." I responded, "No, thanks." Our final correspondence was his return email "Sure no problem. Have a wounderfull day." I'm not sure what was the worst: the rudeness, the sarcasm, or the grammar and spelling. Bottom line, based on my interaction with Jeff, I would go far out of my way to stop anyone I know from buying a car at this dealership.
