    A. L. was outstanding... got us the exact vehicle we wanted and the best price possible. They beat all other dealers prices that I shopped and then went above and beyond. Honest, fair, and fast!

    Seriously! Weeks of research paid off. After all of the test drives, we knew what we wanted. Found the exact vehicle we wanted from the edmunds new-inventory page. Clicked through to the dealer website. Referenced the VIN number and gave a number to beat. Within minutes had a written quote from DCH. This dealership is serious about moving inventory. Anthony did not waste a minute of our time or his with any noise. Yes, there was due diligence: the options checklist was covered with a quick and adequate pass. We told him that we knew EXACTLY what we wanted, and he respected that! Answered every question we had, but didn't push us. Gave us service, not a hard sell. When we were passed to Max, the finance guy, it was a marvel how quick and efficient he was. He found out what we wanted, then did the limbo... how LOW can he go? My wife and I are still giggle happy about Anthony, Max, and this dealership. The way that DCH does business raises the integrity bar for the whole industry. Thank you!

  • Worst Experience Ever

    I decided I was going to use the one line service to get competitive quotes for the Honda CR-V EX my wife and I were ready to purchase. I contacted 4 dealers, Honda of Oxnard being one of them. Although in the past we haven't gotten a warm and fuzzy feeling from them. But I'd give them another try. This was the first time internet price war game for me. I got a quote right away from Oxnard and was very impressed to say the least. $21,832.00 is a great price for a CR-V EX. But there was that feeling again. Moving forward and doing my homework with all the dealers, Saturday came and it was time to buy. I called Honda of Oxnard because they came in lowest & spoke to Shane who assured us that the price was right and all was good, just come on in. We got there ready to sign our names, hand over the $ and drive off. What? You can't find the car? But you can get us another one if we want to wait till tonight or tomorrow. WRONG. We're ready now! You don't do all this work and not get your vehicle. While sitting there watching Shane look at his computer through the glass wall, here comes a tan jolly looking man wanting us to smile and said the car was there and he has 3 people working on getting to us right then and there, and then he was gone. Shane calls us in and pretends to scrutinize his computer and has keys on his desk that match the model # of the car I was quoted, but the car was sold 2 days ago apparently. Confusion and anger start setting in as I realize that the BS has just started. Shane is actually trying to pretend he just now discovered that the quote he gave us was for a SE and not the EX. He wanted to apologized and said he would gladly sell us the SE. I don't think so...... We want the EX and that was that! Plus who knows how much they were taking us on the SE. (Which Shane tried to tell us in the parking lot meant Special Edition, but really it's the model below the EX. Needless to say I was very angry and my wife was very quite which is worse than angry, so Shane excused himself and came back with the General New Car Sales Mgr. whom immediately apologized for Shane’s error. Explaining that it's was a mistake and that they would gladly sell us the SE at the quoted price. I explained again that that was not an option. So he said they would get us an EX model and match any other dealer quote. We felt by this time something more could be done maybe a bit of a better offer. But NOTHING! Based on the fact that we were QUOTED a price by Honda of Oxnard for an alleged EX, and were told to come on down and get it, they had the keys to an SE and clearly our car was gone. We were knowingly brought down under false pretenses. And the fact that they were unwilling to budge just didn't seem right with us. A quote is a quote is a quote. When we mentioned this to the manager he could only look at us and snidely say "haven't you ever made a mistake"? Well it wasn’t very hard to look him in the eye and tell them both, YES we have made mistakes, but we back them up. At that point we left and went to #2 on our internet list and bought a beautiful Blue CR-V from Galpin Honda. There is a 100% difference in customer service and we will never go back to or refer anyone to Honda of Oxnard. It was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. A little bit of caution when dealing with Honda of Oxnard internet dept. Be very, very clear on what you want, and get the quote in your emails, because we had it all and they didn't have a leg to stand on. Oh but remember these are professionals you are dealing with……. It was way too easy to say they made a mistake because they had us there in their office with all these wonderful new cars around. So to them it would have been so easy to just sell us another car, right? But they lost our trust when they lost our car.

    My husband and I have purchased many cars from Ron A. and we will not buy from anyone else. He is superior at his job. He doesn't treat us like customers he treats us like friends. We will and we have recommended your dealership many times.

    If you want a new Honda or a used vehicle of a different make/model, DCH Honda is the dealership you must check out! Just this October of 2012, I had my first "all on my own" car buying experience. Let me tell you, there is no other place I would recommend more! Believe me, I checked out many dealerships and looked at several cars online before making my purchase. DCH Honda of Oxnard was undoubtedly the best dealership of choice. If you don't plan on reading any further than this...just know they're excellent, be sure to check them out and talk to Jim W. and Jose R. Otherwise, this was my recent experience buying a used car from this dealership. First off, I never felt like I was being hassled to buy a car that day or even pressured to make a purchase in the next few days. Second, they were very considerate of my wants, needs and budget. They found some vehicles that I was very interested in. Ultimately, they had one deal I would eventual find I could not pass up. I won't go into details of what it was, but after 2 more days on the lots and plenty of research, I came up with nothing of equal value within my immediate or even relatively distant area. They were able to knock down prices on a number of the vehicles I had expressed interest in. However, for the one that really caught my eye, they supposedly already bottomed out and simply could not go any lower. Considering I saw older models with more miles than this one online, at other dealerships and even on their own lot, I could tell they were being honest with me. Quality control and carfax all checked out perfect too. I bought the car. To compensate for not being able to lower the price and to quench my thirst to bargain, they offered me even better financing than my credit union (who already approved me at 2.9% for a 12k loan). Added to that, they also threw in a few little extras here and there and gave me a rather generous discount on tune ups, oil changes, fluid refills, tire rotations and general check ups for the next 5 years. All in all, the staff working there honestly does have a genuine desire to uphold maximum customer satisfaction. The salesmen won't give you a hard time at all. DCH owns dozens of other lots, so if they're not making money in Oxnard on any given day, they're making up for it at one of their other locations and vice versa. Not once was I pressured into anything I didn't want. That includes additional purchases, warranties, etc. that all dealerships offer customers while purchasing their vehicle. So go out there and get that new Civic, Accord or find that high quality, well maintained used care you're looking for. Jim W. is the salesman you want. Jose R. is the other guy you want to talk about financing. I’ll be certain to write a follow up review of my continued experience at Honda of Oxnard a few years down the line to detail how the their services turned out. Happy car shopping everyone!

    Good car buying (leasing) experience. Took two days and didn't feel pressured at all. Traded in a used one and leased two new ones. Worked within my finances (within reason of course as every car dealer wants to make a bigger profit). Overall good experience.

    While many other dealers refused to provide me with quotes for the purchase or lease of a new 2013 Civic, Rudy A. presented quotes for multiple purchase scenarios. Each quote from DCH Honda either met or beat other internet offers. Additionally, DCH gave me a fair wholesale trade in allowance for my car. When I arrived at the dealership, Rudy was already arranging for the new car to be prepped. Everything promised was delivered. There were no surprises. I highly recommend DCH Honda and Rudy A. Both made purchasing a new car a pleasurable experience.
