Above and Beyond with no pressure
by RPLINLAX on 06/23/2015Their internet department and it's personnel were so easy to work with. The manager, Billy Bejerano, was completely transparent and said exactly what he could and could not do for us. The pricing was outstanding. The closer, Dante'… Winters, was quick, efficient and did not try to sell a bunch of aftermarket items. Also, when our old car died on the way to pick up our new one, Mr. Winters drove out to pick us up and take us the rest of the way. We paid for the entire sale price with no financing. The gentleman who handled the paperwork did have a few aftermarket items - they always do, but he did not put any pressure on us to buy any of them. Delivery was painless, and Mr. Winters explained all of the features of the new vehicle, paired my iPhone to the bluetooth system and let us leave feeling very happy to deal with Toyota of Orange. I looked at Edmunds.com at the last minute having gotten Costco, USAA and Consumer Reports quotes; I'm glad I did because the price Edmunds.com found at Toyota of Orange was by far the best.Tacoma Lover
by oliray on 05/21/2015I came here looking for a TRD pro Tacoma. These are a bit hard to find and we luckily found one here. The manager Reza was able to get me the deal I was looking for. I love my new truck!Great Service!
by charity13 on 05/01/2015Bought my Camry here - great dealership! My salesman was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The process was quick and efficient. Will buy my next car here again!Suitable for Dante's Inferno
by iamkwk on 07/10/2009The salesman was pleasant enough during the test drive. During the price negotiations he played all sorts of games when I asked him not to. I guess because the last 5 cars I have purchased have been at no-haggle places I'm not used to it.… Anyhow we settled on a price and trade in which I though was fair for both of us. The finance guy was something else. He told me a bold face lie. He said that my Corolla soes not have a security system yet the salesman said it did. It does have one but it isn't much. It is an engine immobilizer. I wanted an extended warranty. Well he started playing with numbers and grossly overcharged me for it. He DID NOT tell me that I didn't have to purchase it then. According to Toyota I can purchase a Toyota extended warranty at any time within 3 years or 36000 miles. I also ended up with an aftermarket security system which works if you open the front doors. The finance guy again DID NOT tell me that a Toyota system was available. He left a bad taste in my mouth. I have complained to the GM in a voicemail but I don't expect much. I will never set foot in that place again. I will have all the service, which is where the dealers make their money, somewhere else. Toyota makes good cars. But this dealer does not meet that definition. I may be a naive buyer in that I expect to be treated honestly and fairly. I was not so I will not recomment this place to anyone.Horrible!
by ucisilentbob on 08/12/2007After my second attempt at purchasing a car at Toyota of Orange, I swear i will never go back and when asked for my opinion I will give the honest truth about the car buying experience. 1st attempt: I walked around the lot for about 30… minutes while all of the sales associates sat on benches under a tent chatting. I finally got approached as i was heading for my car in disgust. 2nd: I was greeted instantly when i got out of my car with a good person (Duane) he was attentive and direct without being pushy. While we were looking for a car in my Make/model/color i let him know outright that wanted to be straightforward and didn't want to waste my time if what i was asking for wasn't possible. I told him that i have already received a quote from another dealer and that at the least i would need that quote to be matched if i were to buy. I told him the number and he said that he should be able to work with it. After the test drive, we went in to begin the "negotiations" he claims that their invoice on the car is $1000 more expensive than what all of the car sites say is the true invoice. He goes in to pitch to the sales manager. Comes back telling me that it can't be met, then asks me what i'm shooting for. I tell him and he goes back. I sit for another 5 minutes and then the sales manager comes in. And this is where i am truly disgusted by their service. He begins to insult my knowledge and becomes very sardonic. Behind his words, body language and tone was unacceptable for somebody trying to have my spend my hard earned money from them.Best Toyota Dealership
by xtremerazor on 01/02/2013updated 08/03/2025I want to share the experience I had with the sales department of Toyota of Orange. After several days of haggling with other Toyota Dealerships in the LA County area for the car I wanted, which is the 2012 Toyota Camry SE base Model, I… got a Fantastic deal at Toyota of Orange. The best part was that I was never tricked about the price I was quoted. I called the dealership on 12/30/12 and spoke with Pete W.- Internet Fleet Manager. He quoted me the price on the car I was looking for and his price beat all competitors in LA County. I was so excited to get down there and make the deal. I live near downtown LA and I traveled 40 miles to this dealership and it was worth it. Unfortunately Pete told me he wasn't going to be available to assist me when I got there, but he told me that a guy named Eddie R. would take care of me when I got there. I asked him if he could set aside the car I wanted in the specific color I asked for and he agreed. When I got there I felt welcomed. My presence was acknowledged as soon as I stepped inside this Dealership. Eddie R. was there to receive me and the treatment I got from him was superb. Eddie had my car outside ready for me to test drive it. I'm a really picky person and I pay attention to every little detail, and Eddie was really accommodating. This guy is just really professional and even though he is a salesman, his priority is customer service and giving the customer the best deal possible. That's what I got from him, the best deal and service. My quoted price was honored, I qualified for special financing and there was absolutely no Up-selling. Eddie had me in and out in no time. When my car was ready, he was there to show me how to use several features. I am really happy with the deal I got at Toyota of Orange and with their service. They have definitely gained a long term customer. I recommend this dealership to everyone who wants a new car and is looking for the best deal on their purchase. Thank You Toyota Of Orange, and thank you Eddie for making this deal happen.Love my Tundra purchase
by jeffbrown on 02/16/2013updated 08/03/2025Just got my new Tundra Dante and Stewart exceeded all my expectations just love this dealership.salesman there is awful
by Nyxnyx on 12/04/2013updated 08/03/2025I contacted the dealership online. A salesman claimed he is the manager there contacted me. Then I emailed his three times to ask about the warrenty about the car, but he didnt reply. When i'm talking about price of the car with him, he… told me the car is sold. Which is not true. Because I found out he just lowered the price of the exact same car on edmunds. I think that is very rude. Not a pleasant experience at allToyota Prius 2013
by aw1331 on 03/12/2013updated 08/03/2025Never dealt with a better salesmen than Robert H. Communication via email and phone was fast and to the point. Received the best offer from the 10+ Toyota dealerships I contacted. Robert honored his price and even did better. He had both… colors parked and ready for me to look at when I got to the dealership. I would recommend him to anyone of my family and friends from here on out and for anyone looking to purchase a Toyota. His customer service and no BS, quick transaction is truly like no other.Painless Purchase
by jimborock on 02/17/2013updated 08/03/2025They sent us email quoting a price. We came in and got what we expected for the price they had quoted. No trying to jerk us around after we got there. The transaction did not take long at all. It was not the usual marathon car buying… session.Dante W. and Internet sales
by evolutionx08 on 02/17/2013updated 08/03/2025This is my second time going through toyota of orange and dealing with Dante W. Brought a friend the first time and my g/f today. As always the transaction went great. Was able to trade in her car and lease a new corolla in a matter of… hours. Had every color in stock for her to choose from, he helped with every step of the transaction, and my g/f left 100% happy and satisfied. We never felt pressured or taken advantage of at anytime. If you want a new or used toyota i highly recommend toyota of orange and dante w. Will definitely return in the future.Among the worst I have encountered
by lai_di on 11/15/2011updated 08/03/2025I was interested in a Prius II. These guys had 15 listed in their Sunday ad. I emailed them and asked them to send me an out the door quote. I had a spreadsheet and asked them if the total price was correct. The sales person replied that it… was and that he would hold a vehicle for me if I came in that day (this was at about 1PM on a Sunday). I arrived at 3PM and showed the spreadsheet to the sales person. He confirmed verbally that the total price calculated was correct. After a short test drive, the sales person wrote up the quote and took it to the "Manager". The sales person came out and stated that the car had been sold the day before - even though the ad ran on a Sunday only and I had confirmed with him at 1PM that the vehicle was still available. The manager came out at this point and gave me a "counter" offer that was $2000 over the ad price, and $1000 over the Costco quote. He became more and more condescending as time went by. Long story short, I walked out of there and took my business elsewhere. The other reviewers are correct - the managers are arrogant and condescending. They use old school bait-and-switch, good-cop/bad-cop tactics. Don't these guys realize how much the internet has changed things? My mom wants a Sienna XLE - guess which dealer I am NOT recommending? When my old Camry needs servicing, guess which dealer I will NOT be taking it to?Rude, rude, pushy people.
by Christinac423 on 01/03/2014updated 08/03/2025My experience here was the classic "bad dealership" experience that I half only believed existed. Ugh. The salesmen were actually rude when negotation prices, rolling their eyes, ignoring what I was saying. They actually took my husbands ID… and did not give it back until we remembered and asked for it. I think they do this so you can't just leave. I only noticed because 2 other Toyota dealerships did the SAME TRICK. Shady people. Would not buy a car here even if it were cheap than elsewhere. If you think you are getting sales with those tactics, think again. No one likes [non-permissible content removed].Our Best Car Puchase Experience To Date
by terrywhalin on 02/23/2013updated 08/03/2025Billy B., a fleet manager helped us. We came through our AAA membership. The experience was straightforward and excellent.Good purchase experience
by vchheda on 02/19/2013updated 08/03/2025In short, talk to the dealer Moses, he talks for you to the sales manager and gets you the deal or gets you the man who will make you the deal. I went in after 3 years purchasing my First Toyota Camry 2010 and this time my buying was very… smooth and fast. It took me 2 hours to get my car from the sea port to me, get the finance nailed and get me introduced to my car.
About our dealership
I spoke to the GM and expressed my concerns. He agreed to rewrire to contract to lower the price of the warranty. I am waiting for the paperwork and will update later. To his credit, he did listen to me.
