    Did not receive GFE on phone, was pressured to come in. Was greeted by very executive looking lady and a sales person later. Price offered was one of the highest I received. Did not feel like they wanted my business. I left. Bunch of follow-up call by call center to win me back. (Edmunds does not allow zero rating, hence one. My rating for them is ZERO)

  • What a fun satisfying experience!

    I rolled in to Fletcher Jones after riding 4.5 hrs in a tow truck after breaking down out on the I5 in Coalinga. Ugh. I wasn't exactly looking forward to wrestling with an overeager sales person who knew I had to buy something. But I found each person of the team who worked with me compassionate to my tired state, understanding and focussed on what I needed in a car, helpful, of good humor, and all around a really great group of guys. Justin was terrific in helping me select a car, Mike was easy and pleasant to work out the financials with, Andres was quick with the paperwork, and Dean was totally fun when he explained all the bells and whistles of my new C250. I hope the car proves to be as terrific as the people who sold it to me.

  • Pricy for service

    I called them for to ask pricing to top off AdBlue for my new ML350. They quoted me $165 to top it off. I was able to purchase the AdBlue at other dealership for $75, open the cover and fill-in with a help of a service boy at the dealership. It would have costed even less if my car needed less AdBlue to top off. Based on my experience I believe FJ Mercedes service department has inflated pricing and they do not try to help out customers. Stay away...
  • Amazing customer service

    This is out third purchase from Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach. Can't say enough about this dealership and the incredible customer service we always receive. Our sales manager Mike M. is the best and even had several other folks remain well past closing time in order to complete our purchase. They even delivered our car the next day when it was convenient for us. AMAZING!!

  • Eric & his team are the best!

    I don't know why I ever even try going to another dealership for a car because no one has a team that cares more about taking care of their client then FJ Mercedes. I have bought multiple cars from Eric G. and he always gets the deal done. I appreciate his effort and desire to help me regardless of the situation. I just bought a new E 350 Sedan the other day. I called Eric, said I was ready and on the way and when I arrived we handled business, took a look at some options and was in and out within 2 hours. I can't thank you enough.

  • Bait and Switch

    I know all dealers do this but I just leased three new cars and had the fourth on order for four months. It arrived and we agreed on the cash price and completed the paperwork. On the way to pick up the car the salesmen called and said it had a bad engine and we would have to order another car. When I went to the dealer the next day they said the car was ok they just wanted more money than we had prior agreed. I had no choice but to leave and start shopping all over again. This may be the reason Audi is now so popular.
    • Dear Dennis Our intent to do right by a client is not “bait and switch." As per our conversation, the engine light had come on due to the gas cap not being tightened.     Not discounting the experiences of others here, but I was treated very well. The sales people spent a fair amount of time walking me through the various car options and the closing process was seamless and painfree. I'd buy more cars from these guys.

    My wife & I got my third MB today from this dealership, however it was our first time dealing with Mr. Mohamed Amrani & Ed Kogan. They are very courteous & reasonable ppl to deal with & keep their promises. Best of all, Mr. Mohamed made us feel like family & very comfortable to deal with. The entire process took us less than 2 hours. I would highly recomended anyone to these gentlemen for any MB needs. My wife is very happy with her anniversary gift.     I traded in my cls550 for a brand new cla w. amg sports package, panoramic sunroof , etc. I have never met any car sales man like Eric G. in my whole 54 year old life,. He's amazing. one year ago I talked to him about trading my cls550, -09 for the new cls550, -12 body. it never happened. one year later I decided to get the cla. What I hate most about car sales men is all the BS they give you. Eric never gave me one ounce of BS and truly this the 1st time I enjoyed buying a car, from start to finish. I live close to San Diego and first I contacted Hoehn MBZ in Carlsbad, horrible experience. they dropped the ball completely and never even followed up on my special order request. Thank god I still had Eric's contact info!!!!!!!! Eric gave me and is still giving me unbelievable professionalism and out of this world customer service, period!. Due to Eric's sales man ship, as long as he is with FJ MBZ, I'll buy all my future cars from him.   • Dealer doesn't value your time

    Saw a E350Bluetec from inventory list, email them to inquire availability and lease price. Got a call from sale and want me to drive 40miles in from WLA to FJ to “Talk” thru the deal. I insist providing quote thru email or call since I already know the best price from Edmunds' forum. Sales starting advertising they are the biggest dealer in the nation, sold 800 MB a month etc. etc… and will provide best price. He guarantee to have the best price for me...well, my last 3 MB deals all done thru email and phone. They all took me less than 30mins inside the dealer to go thru the paperwork. After I told sales I will not drive down he simply change his tone…this is the worst conversation experience so far and I thought we are in the internet age.

    • After few emails exchange with Eric (sale associate) and Mike (mgr who did finally quote the price over the internet, so Heather Lewis, you are WRONG.) I will never go to FJ for any MB. Very unprofessional on replying emails. With Eric, 1st time when I indicated asking buyer must go down to dealer is so 80s and he responded with "Cute". 2nd time after I puchased my 2013 E350 with $10k discount from other dealer and he want me to go trade in my new car. Thank you but no thanks.

    • dl-amg: I had a similar situation but the dealer did make it worth my time and I purchased a vehicle from them. I drove from Calabasas but when I arrived I did not have to haggle, the car was ready for a test drive, it was everything they promised, they dropped the price significantly and I got an amazing finance rate. My advice: You should have made the trip.

    I bought a CPO Benz here 2 weeks ago and am extremely satisfied with the vehicle, the price and treatment I received. James S. and his team Ari K. and Christian as well as general sales manager Chris L. took great care of me. Aside from being top notch pros, they were courteous, patient, and made the purchase a breeze. While I was shopping for my Benz, I had checked several other authorized MB dealers to confirm I was getting the best price. What blew me away was when I visited a non-dealer which was suppose to be much more competitive on price because of their lower overhead; they had the vehicle model with similar specs but their prices were higher and so was the mileages. At that point, I knew not only was I getting the best price but also best value as my car was CPO by the nation's top authorized MB dealer. My last car was a Benz and I've had a Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and my mom has a Porsche. I've taken them all in for service, MB blows them all away hands down. You cannot put a price tag on the level and quality of service and treatment from an authorized MB dealer. Every business (not just other car makers) should be taking notes from MB, especially Fletcher Jones, they set the standard when it comes to service, period. Great price, great car, world-class service during and after my purchase. This is why I purchased another Benz.

    Saturday I traded my 2008 ML350, which I initially purchased from Fletcher Jones in 2010, for my second Platinum Certified Pre-Owned ML350. My salesman was Dan D., and he did an very good job in listening to the features I was looking for in my next vehicle. I felt no pressure whatsoever in purchasing a vehicle, and I appreciated the fact that Dan was focusing on what I wanted and contacted me when he thought there was a vehicle I would be interested in. He also showed me a vehicle that had more features than I asked for as a comparison, and I actually ended up buying it. I couldn't be happier with it. The entire process went smoothly, and I am glad I returned to Fletcher Jones.

    Had a fantastic experience. The car i wanted to see was sold that morning, prior to my arrival. However, Brad C. showed me several others and test drove couple of other E350. He was informative and explained in details of the vehicle as well as FJNewport's customer benefits. I ended up with a car that I really do enjoy. I would highly recommend FJNewport as their inventory was significant, cars were very clean and pricing was very competitive.

    My purchasing experience at Fletcher Jones was delightful. For a such an important business decision to be met with the utmost respect and consideration took me a little by surprise. My concerns were addressed, options were eloquently presented to me by the staff and I was treated with outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this dealership, their knowledge and the quality of the staff at every level was extraordinary. The pricing and finance options were competitive. My GL450 is a very special vehicle for me and I love driving it. Makes perfect sense that FJ is the number 1 dealership. They know what they are doing.

  • I got insulted by FJM Salesman

    I am currently in the market to purchase a SUV and in process of comparing GL450, ML350, X5, RX300 and MDX. Since my daughter and our church members bought several Mercedes from Fletcher Jones, I went to Fletcher Jones to check out the GL and ML. A salesman approached me as soon as I arrived at Fletcher Jones and asked if I needed assistance. I told him “I am just looking” but he continue to haggle. The haggling did not bother me too much because I understand he is trying making sale. However, as soon as I completed the checking out of both GL and ML and turned around and leaving, he start singing at my back “My day is going down to drain because of you….” What an INSULT!!! I almost blow up. Guess what? Fletcher Jones is not the place that I am going to purchase my next Mercedes. BTW, Mercedes is excellent car and we love enough to currently own two of them and plan to add one more.
