They sold me 5K over priced using my credit weakness
by Julian on 07/21/2023I bought Sportage Hybrid LX AWD from Ball KIA on 4th of July, the day only available for me to go shopping. Ball KIA advertised better price than MSRP online, but When I visit Ball KIA, They marked up 8K more on MSRP. I worried but because… I knew Hybrid car is on high demand, I think I have to pay more than MSRP. Finally they offered 40K as OTD and 5.49APR 32K finance with 8K cash down. I made big mistake thinking that APR is nice against my credit. Later I found that APR is so so. I regret and tried to cancel or change the contract, they rejected all my requests by warning me credit damage. I feel I got ripped off. Be aware this Dealer.Buyer Beware
by donotshophere on 10/03/2010Think twice before you buy at Ball Kia. Research your future purchase , take details along. We had a bad experience at Ball and advise you to go elsewhere. We were lied to,some employees are not trained very well. It was like a "bait and… switch" situation. We were out more money then we were quoted. We did a special order which took 6 weeks, did not get what we ordered. KIA M of A now tells us " there is no such thing as a special order. " Why didn't Ball know this ? We are using word of mouth with friends and family advising them to find another KIA dealership. Ball is ignoring all communication from us, Kia Motors of America is responding. The 2011 KIA Sorento is a great car, too bad the dealership is not the same way. Why did we still buy ? a family emergency directed us to travel a great distance so we needed good wheels, and the auto manager knew this .Our family feels he took advantage of our situation.I wouldn't purchase a KIA anywhere else.
by d2dv on 08/08/2011updated 05/28/2025After a horrible experience at a different KIA dealership, I decided to try and get to Ball KIA before they closed, I didnt make it, but there Manager and crew still took the time to help me an hour after they closed. They explained… everything thoroughly, didnt pressure for the sale, and were the most professional and honest salemen I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. It doesnt hurt that they are selling a great product. I would buy another KIA from them in a heartbeat. Great Job guys.
