    On July 4th, I went to this dealership to finance a 2025 Sorento Hybrid LX with stock number 25v9112. I first spoke with a salesman named Farzan who was very respectful. After I filled out the forms and they handed them over to the sales manager and finance manager, each time they came back with an amount that did not include any of the discounts listed on the dealer's website. After I complained again, he went to the finance manager and they came and I explained to them that your website shows that the dealer is offering $1,533 and if I buy on finance, I will receive an additional $2,500 discount from the MSRP. Initially, the installments were around $700 without considering the discounts. After I complained and considering the discounts, the installments became around $900 per month. The finance manager said, "No, we will either give you these and increase the interest or we will only give you a $1,000 discount." The interest rate is 4.99 and I told them so you are cheating that you don't even accept what is on your website. In my opinion these people are just scamming people and I would really like to meet with the general manager or owner dealer to find out what is going on at their dealership.

I’ve also attached the disclaimer from the listing, which clarifies that tax, title, and license are additional costs, and that the $615 monthly payment assumes those fees are paid by the customer upfront.     Our experience with buying a car with Michael at Kia of Irvine was surprisingly easy and no pressure. Michael worked with us over both days of a weekend, gave us honest advice, and was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. Then when we started working with Aydin for the financing both of them worked with us to make sure we were in our budget.

    Came for a test drive and left with a new car the same day. James was very nice and helpful and we were able to strike a good deal. James was very knowledgeable despite the fact it was his 4th day on a job, we worked with finance team to find the leasing option that worked out best for us. Would totally do it again.

    I had a great experience at KIA Irvine. Ricky P was my salesman. Although he had just started at KIA, he was very knowledgeable of the auto industry and the car buying/leasing process. Whenever I had a question, he was able to answer it and he really worked with me on my lease payments. I felt like a valued customer and he definitely took the time to earn my business. For a car salesman, he seemed like a very reliable and trustworthy guy.

  • Ignore or Not Ignore the Customer

    I caution against any single lady or mother wanting to purchase a car or get work done at this dealership. I wanted to buy an EV9 that they had in stock. I made an appointment to test drive it and went in and was told you can’t test drive an EV9 as the sales guy walked right by me. I asked about the VIN I was interested in purchasing and was told that no sales members were available. Keep in mind there were 6 sales guys sitting around and 1 customer in the store shopping. I went back to try to just look at the vehicle again a week later, with my two teenagers in tow, no sales guy came to help. Again, I had the vin of the vehicle on the lot and was unable to get anyone’s attention as the sales guys all turned their backs. The next day I walked in with my boyfriend and told him he can do all the talking, I’ll just stand back. A salesman came up to us within 30 seconds. We didn’t have an appointment, but that didn’t matter. My boyfriend asked to test drive an EV9 and the salesman left momentarily and came back with the keys, handed them to my boyfriend and asked us to return in 10 minutes. Once we returned he proceeded to stick around and answer any questions we had. Please see note above where I was told they don’t let people test drive EV9s. I ended up taking my business to Car Pros in Huntington Beach where I was able to get great service and an even better deal on a new EV9.

  • Perfect experience

    This KIA dealership provided overall an amazing experience. Starting from when I first called them and was connected with their sales lead Mo about a car I saw online, everything that was advertised or otherwise verbally communicated to me was upheld at the final agreement table. So much transparency with this team, Mo sincerely cared about the outcome. I cannot say the same for another KIA dealership that I tried going to originally, so having had that experience first I can truly say that KIA of Irvine made a difference. I would highly recommend.

  • Excellent Customer Service

    Kia of Irvine is a family-owned business and it shows. When I arrived, I found out the Telluride I saw on their site was no longer available. No problem,..they searched and found another identical model with everything I wanted, a couple of hours away. While their team was contacting the other dealer to see if they could make an exchange, my sale rep Mike, showed me model I wanted, with just a different exterior color. We went for a test drive, he reviewed all the great features and took his time to ensure I understood how things worked. There are so many conveniences that it's still going to take me time on my own just to learn everything, but Mike offered his assistance should I run into any roadblocks. The next day, the car I wanted was delivered and again, Mike and I went over the everything before I headed out. Their finance team was efficient and allowed the entire process to be quick and easy. I don't buy a new vehicle often, but their team made the buying process enjoyable. The sales manager came over to introduce himself during my initial visit, which was a nice touch and Mike followed up with me the next day to see if I had any questions.

    I was looking at the Kia Sportage PHEV. The Irvine dealer had the best selection of cars in the configurations I was considering. They had a less prescriptive test drive. Dorian, my sales rep, was new but quickly found a person to help with any questions he could not answer himself. He took all my questions seriously and I appreciated his enthusiasm and friendliness. The person who reviews the car features and functions (long hair, name starts with a A) was wonderful and entertaining. Too bad I was fairly tired after being there all afternoon. A positive experience overall.

    I was contacted by Michael concerning my 2023 Kia K5 sedan lease and he was able to quickly prepare a new lease for a 2025 Kia K5 sedan with an identical monthly payment plan and no out-of-pocket costs. Michael was very courteous, attentive, and professional, and the entire leasing experience was very positive and efficient. I highly recommend Michael as a salesperson at Kia of Irvine. I must note that this is my second leasing experience at this location and both experiences have been very pleasant.

  • Sales Prevention Department

    I’m not trying to be dramatic but this was the worst sales experience of my life. My husband and I are looking to lease 2 new cars and we were deciding between 3 vehicles: sportage, sportage plug in and sorrento. “Top salesman” William reprimanded us that we didn’t have an appointment and could only test drive 2 cars. Somehow it made more sense to him to put my husband with a separate salesman, Ronin, to drive the same car. Ronin would only allow my husband to test drive 1 car per “non appointment policy”. What?? William wouldn’t explain the differences on the trims, left me in the sweltering parking lot to print out the specs, then told me to read the difference. Sent us to the inventory lot and told us to take a picture of the vin of what we wanted to drive and he’d get the keys. You know, on the cars that we didn’t know the difference between. I complained to another sales rep at the entrance about my experience after I was once again abandoned by William, and they literally walked away from me, then pointed at me and made derogatory comments. How is this place in business? As if buying a kia is such a privilege that you can only drive 1 car without an appointment? Come on. I have heard terrible things about the service department at this dealer so I blame myself for thinking the sales department would be any different. You only get a staff this terrible if the leadership is bad. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

    Don’t do it! They stuck a credit sheet in front of us before we even discussed the price of the car. When we questioned it, the guy said it was to get to know us. We finally confirmed the price and when he came pack with the price sheet they had added 3K+ in accessories. Don’t bother! We went straight across to Toyota and bought a used Kia no haggle. So nice!

  • Do not buy a car here

    Awful experience and complete waste of 3 hours today. I walked into the dealership interested in a Telluride. The dealership had a published price that I immediately showed to the sales person upon arriving. I asked him “is this accurate? If so, I’m interested”. He assured me it was and proceeded to offer a test drive. The test drive went great and we told the sales person we were ready to move forward. After 90 minutes of filling out forms and waiting for the finance person to come over, he finally sits down to go over paperwork. Imagine our surprise when the final price was $8k more than the advertised price (which was confirmed by the sales person as accurate before we started this lengthy process). The finance person we dealt with extremely rude and said “take it or leave it”. So we left. I’ll never go back. Stay away from this place. Awful, awful customer experience

    My experience with Kia of Irvine was disappointing due to certain aspects of their customer service and transparency, from Sales Managers to the smallest employees. I felt that my time was undervalued, and there seemed to be a lack of respect for customers. If you're considering purchasing from Kia Irvine, I would recommend exercising caution. While they may offer an initial $4000 discount, it's essential to be aware that they might later include additional services costing $3000, which may not provide commensurate value. I kindly suggest refraining from providing them with your credit information until you have agreed upon all financial terms. In my case, they ran my credit before finalizing the price and financial arrangements, which put me in a challenging situation. Although some managers may respond to comments in a friendly manner, it's important to approach with careful consideration. Prior to my attempted purchase, I had read various comments, but unfortunately, one of the managers I interacted with displayed rudeness and disrespect, which didn't align with the online interactions. It appears that they may be friendly only when they believe there is a financial advantage. Otherwise, the level of respect may be inconsistent. In light of my experience, my advice to others is to thoroughly evaluate their options before deciding to buy a Kia. If Kia is your preferred choice, I suggest seeking out a dealership with high reviews from genuine customers who have shared their experiences. To Kia, I respectfully recommend implementing monitoring and evaluation processes for your dealerships. Some locations, like Kia of Irvine, might inadvertently lead to losing valuable customers. As for me, I have decided not to purchase a Kia in the future based on my experience.

  • Shady & Unethical

    This is dealership is no better than the unethical ones you would find near LAX. I emailed and spoke with Anthony the internet service manager about a certified preowned Kia Soul I saw on their site. I wanted the car. Spoke to Anthony, I filled out the credit app and was approved (he ran my credit which was 811 FICO), I have my own financing at a better rate than what the dealership can offer. He asked for a $500 deposit to hold the car and take it off the market, as the vehicle would not be ready until the following day because it needed shock/strut service. I gave him the deposit. That evening, I received an email saying, "As it turns out the Soul was sold to another customer and we refunded your deposit of $500." WTF?! That is the entire point of a deposit was to ensure this didn't happen! No explanation, apology, or restitution. So now I don't have the car BUT since they needlessly ran my credit, my score has gone down 10 points for no reason, so I'm the one who suffers to get another car. This is unacceptable and would expect more from any legitimate dealership.

    WARNING WHEN YOU MEET A MAN NAMED SAMMY. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Check Yelp reviews for this guy and how this place treats their customers. Btw you have any urgent questions on a 30k+ car you purchased from here? If it’s not “ someone dying “ it’s not considered urgent. And you have any questions ? Don’t expect them to get answered. Once you sign; you’re dead to them. Don’t ever purchase a car from this dealership

    very bad experience the person that was helping me out his name Rabi Chehade I saw the price for the vehicle that I wanted online it was a good deal but when I got to the dealership They run my credit everything came up good And then when I saw the paperwork they were adding some maintenance plan I always take my cars for oil change at the dealership that I'm comfortable With & protection plan That's just waste money That's why I have full cover insurance and anything happen the car is fully covered But when I refuse I will not be buying any protection plan he Say we are Not gonna be selling you the car I was like OK I will pay the car cash he say if you're not gonna buy the protection plan we cannot make any money Always confused because at this point I was willing to pay cash I left the dealership Mad When I got to the house I called the dealership try to speak to a supervisor or a manager but when I told the front desk about the issue she transferred me directly to him And he said I am the manager how can I help you ask a transfer me to supervisor , It was waste of my time , Go to another dealership Save yourself time and headache now this days they have everything online you can buy car online like carvana or driveway Or anything else the side of this dealership you will be getting ripped off .

    Kia of Irvine is amazing! I recommend going to this dealership for anyone that is car shopping. Rabi was wonderful! He made sure I got the best pricing and the perfect car to fit all my needs. He was very informative, and efficient to work with. I be appreciated all his help from beginning to end. Sebastian hooked it up with a great warranty package which made me feel like I was actually being taken care of. THANK YOU FOR THAT! Sunny was another BIG help with making sure I got the best rate and was matched with the right finance company. And Rosie was another angel that walked me through signing the documentation needed.   • "Gone to far"

    On 11/25/18 I purchased a vehicle from Kiev Irvine and that was the worst mistake I ever made. First of all the people in finance are conducting illegal contracts with their "payment packing" methods (adding on products to your contract without disclosing them to you) . What they are doing is illegaland I don't understand how they've got away with it for this long.on the maintenance contract the service contract and the theft deterrent those three items is where they scam you. they even went as far as to forge my signature on the maintenance and service contracts, they then added them to my loan without my knowledge ,submitted the contracts for payment from my loan company and they we're paid $4000.00 from my loan company. They totally committed fraud. for the next two weeks or so they wouldn't take my phone calls or return my voicemails. Find me with the forged contracts in my hand I was able have the contracts voided. The theft deterrent for stay charged me $1,495 scanned the same wayadding the amount to the loan without disclosing it. But they won't give me my money back on that. By far the best thing to do is stay away from this dealership, can you people over in sales your hands aren't clean either you might not be directly involved in the illegal scams that are going on over in finance without a doubt you all are perfectly aware of what's going on, and yes Anthony that means you too. The owner of the dealership knows exactly what's going on but he turnes a blind eye for the financial game. "HE KNOWS"…. Troy Vandever
