very friendly environment. seems everybody is welcome. very roomy showroom and waiting room. complete line-up of their vehicles. it was an awesome experience for me and i am pretty sure it will be the same for everyone.

  • What Customer Service?

    This last Monday (7/27) I came in to the service center around 5:45pm and left my car with Fernando Felix. He let me know that he'd call me or text me when my car was finished. 2 1/2 hours later as I'm waiting in the sales lobby trying to get in contact with Fernando, I decide to walk over to the service center and find it locked up. I then came to a sales rep who told me that the technicians leave at 5pm! The posted service hours are 7am-7pm! After telling the sales rep my story and explaining that I have work early the next morning and I need my car, he told me there's nothing he could do about it. As far as he was concerned it was perfectly fine that I be left stranded till 7 the next morning because he never asked about how I would get home. Luckily I have a wife who was able to pick up and drop me back off the next morning to an untouched car. When I came to drop off my car Monday, no one cared to tell me that no one would be working on my car and that I'd have to wait till the next day, there was no communication to me when I tried reaching out to Fernando on the number he left me, no one cared to check on me as I sat in the sales lobby for hours, and when faced with a dilemma the Hyundai staff was secure to leave me without a vehicle or to meet any of my concerns. Even now, I am still waiting for a call from the Service Manager, that Fernando promised me. This is a complete failure of customer service. *Update* So after the terrible customer service mentioned above Jared R. of Hyundai comments on my Yelp review and directs me to follow up with the customer service manager. So I'm supposed to be calling up someone else to hear my concern? Fernando was already made aware of my concern Tuesday and promised that Suzie Wills, the customer service manager would contact me. I texted him again Thursday with no reply. Not only that, I emailed my concerns to your service department email given on your website Wednesday! Only now on Friday, (4 days from the incident) is someone is reaching out to me and they're telling me I need to go complain somewhere else. If customer service is truly their concern than I would like to see the evidence.

    Let me start off by saying that this is the 5th car that I lease from this dealership. I dont know how they always manage to go above and beyond. I went on the 4th of July. Spoke to Alex Fuller. Great guy. We wanted to look at a specific car so he went and found the car at another lot and brought it to us. while my wife changed our daughter Ax even put her car seat in the car for the test drive. Amazing right ? After the ride we discussed some numbers. The General Sales Manager Javed made me feel comfortable and even offered us beverages. He explained all the numbers and we said we wanted to think about it. NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES HERE !! My daughter was getting cranky so we had to leave. We came back sunday morning and spoke to Alex and Javed. They made me a deal I could not refuse. The Manager Saeed Naderi even took my daughter for Ice cream so we could complete the paper work. Gerardo Dorantes the Finance Manager had us in and out . Over all this has been one of the best buying experiences ive ever had. If you are ever in the market for a new car make sure to give theses guys a call. You will not regret it. A big thank you to Javed Rasheed, Saeed Naderi , Gerardo Dorantes , and Alex Fuller !!!

    Stopped by this dealership one night to find out about the blue link trial for my new 2015 Sonata with the assistance of Frank Martins got setup on the Hyundai Website and was ready to go. The dealer I purchased the vehicle from didn't even take to time to explain all of the new car features. Frank was happy to spent what time was needed to make sure I got setup correctly. Not that is five star service. I will be back.

    I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience thanks to Frank Martins! Going in as a woman alone I was on guard for potentially being taken advantage of by the sales team. I initially sent out an internet inquiry and from his first phone call, all the way through being handed the keys, Frank was awesome. He was patient as I test drove car after car. He listened to what I wanted, how much my payments needed to be, and he worked to get me the best deal. When I said that I would come back the next day and that I was still checking out other deals before deciding on the Tucson, Frank was understanding and didn't pressure me. I love my Hyundai Tucson, and I already know the first place and person I'll recommend to my friends, and where I'll head back to when it's time to buy another car. I'm so grateful that Frank Martins was my guy!!!

  • The [violative content deleted] dealership I've ever been to

    I went in to buy a car I saw on an ad. One of the sales guys told me that it was already sold earlier on during the day and proceeded to put me onto a different vehicle. This vehicle cost $3000 more than the car I saw on the ad. As the salesman went inside the building, I asked a different salesman if I could see the car I saw on the ad, and he took me directly to it! They were lying all this time, just to put me onto a more expensive vehicle so that they could get more commission. I went with the previous salesman to see the General Manager, and he told me that the car on the ad was not for sale, and told me to **** off. Truly the worst experience ever.

    Recently purchased a new Hyundai. Great experience the whole way thru. Jorge walked me thru everything i needed to know prior to getting there so the purchasing process was no pressure and easy. Everyone at the offce was a pleasure to work especially Jorge and Javed R. I love my new car!

    My husband has been looking for a car for a while. We made a phone call to Cerritos and luckily Jorge G. answered. We told him we had several pending deals and were ready to buy. He said that's great nothing better then a well prepared customer. We told him our number and within 5 minutes he had an approval from his manager. Javed R. We came down and purchased without a hitch. We have actually gone back a few times and gotten help with our Bluetooth and no matter how many times we have gone back the service hasn't changed. To all the bad reviews I say do your research and get the right salesman !

  • Good Service Experience

    Took my new Azera in for service and to purchase an additional spare key. What should have been a 30 minute job lasted 4 hours. Had to wait for the man and equipment to arrive to lazer cut and program the key. Because of the long wait the service manager gave us a free oil change. Thanks we appreciate it.

    CERRITOS HYUNDAI called us to inform that the vehicle we had inquired about (I was very specific about the model and color I was looking for) was ready and that we can come down to their dealership to sign the papers. We traveled for more than 2 hours only to be informed at the dealership that they don’t have the model they had confirmed 3 times just a couple of hours ago. THEY ARE NOT HONEST & THEY DON”T SEEM TO RESPECT OTHER’S TIME. I WOULD NOT EVEN THINK OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!! WOULD RECOMMEND OTHERS AS WELL TO STAY OFF THIS DEALERSHIP!

    From the moment I met Vito B., I could tell he wasn't your average car salesman. He was a very humble guy that took the time to provide exceptional customer service by explaining my options without being pushy. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. He set the standard for what buying a new car should be. Even after the sale, I received a follow up call to make sure I was comfortable with my car and that I was familiar with my new Sonata's many features. I appreciate the extra effort from everyone at the dealership, especially Vito. Kudos!

    Cerritos Hyundai is a great Dealership. My wife and I just bought a new 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited Edition and we love it. Jorge G. was a great salesman that provided us with a hassle free buying experience. We got the car we wanted at a great price. The whole process was quick and painless. Javed R. (General Sales Manager) was very nice and thanked us for the business. The entire staff was very nice and extremely professional. I would buy another car from this dealership.

    We were really impressed by the seamless transaction that happened with us when we purchased our new Elantra from Cerritos Hyundai. It also helped that Jorge G. was there to guide our way. He was honest and very knowledgeable. We were certainly treated like long-time customers even though this was our very first Hyundai purchase.

    I was very much prepared to buy from this dealership using the internet sales department whenever they got in the particular car I wanted based on the quote I was given. The problem with them is that they don't follow up, or actually have any idea what they are doing. Perhaps they are so busy they can't keep up with all the people that want to buy from them, but even the Sales Manager who emailed me personally doesn't know what he is doing if that's not the case. Sent me an email saying he hoped he had answered all my questions when we had never spoken and he had never responded to my reply of the first email he sent me. The lack of organization and follow through at this dealership is pathetic.

    I just purchased my second vehicle from this place and I love it. the first time the salesperson Jorge G. came to my house and even paired my garage door opener. GUESS WHAT the second time I bought the car Jorge did the same thing. Came to the house on a Saturday Afternoon, PEAK BUSINESS HOURS just to connect my mirror. I have purchased a few cars but I have never ever had service this great. I send all my friends and family to Cerritos Hyundai. Also thank you Javed R. the General Manager for always giving me a great deal.

    Our dealing with Cerritos Hyundai was very good from the first email to the face-to-face contact. Our salesman, Ray Leiva, treated us with professionalism and consideration. High pressure or bait-n-switch tactics and double talk WERE NOT seen or heard. Enough time was given to us and we were not pressured. While waiting for a dealer trade to take place, Ray kept me company. To please my wife, he drove her in A CAR OF HER CHOOSING to a local nail salon; and, picked her up when she was done. All of my questions from the salesman to the financing manager were answered to my satisfaction. I didn't feel I was wasting their time while becoming a more educated consumer. Time spent with staff was very worthwhile. Overall, I recommend this dealership and in particular Ray for your future consideration when looking to buy a new Hyundai.

  • They have your vehicle... wait... they don't

    Called them to get the inventory and quote on 2012 Velacruz. They quoted it at MSRP and said that the vehicle is in stock and on their lot. Before driving to them, called again to verify they have what I want. Drove two hours to the dealership only to find out they don't actually have it. I wasted four more hours sitting around waiting while they suggested a few other cars at higher price and lowballed my trade-in vehicle for HALF of what KBB reports its trade-in value should be. They just wanted to bring me in the dealership and convince me to buy what they have in stock without regard for my time. Never again.

    I took my 75 year old mom to this dealer and. I told the sales man that we just wanted to browse. I told him not to follow us. He insisted on following us. He followed us around for approx 30 -40 minutes. I did not do business with this dealership because they were very pushy. I may be female but I do my home work with EDMUNDS. I know what i should pay for a car. I finally told the man to [non-permissible content removed]. lol then I took my mom to another dealer.
