Authorization codes out the window, hidden dealer options
by Taylorr on 02/14/2025The 2024 model was not available to see after driving across the city for scheduled appointment that it would be there. The 2025 was repeatedly told was the same price as the ’24 and that for the same money it only makes sense to get the… newer model. OTD price for 2025 was ~$7,000 more than expected: Didn’t include the $2,500 online customer cash that got us to come see the ’24. Didn’t even initially include the $1,000 online customer cash available for the ’25, and was only added in 2nd OTD price as a counter for not honoring other discounts. Included $4,000-$5,000 dealer options that was not advertised on website, significantly increasing the price that got us to come across the city, also lack of value in what these options even are. Did not honor our healthcare provider authorization code we presented to them. GM Employee discount had no effect, cheapening its stature, though more an issue with Chevrolet/GM. No repeat customer loyalty discount.We understand how frustrating it can be when expectations don’t align, and we apologize for the inconvenience you faced during your visit. Our goal is always to be transparent and provide the best value for our customers, and we regret that the situation didn't reflect this. Regarding the pricing and incentives, we understand your concerns with the OTD price for the 2025 model. We do our best to ensure that all rebates and offers are clearly communicated upfront, and we apologize for any confusion in this case. We also regret that the dealer options were not properly explained and for not being able to honor your healthcare provider authorization code and the GM Employee discount as you expected. Daniel Toole is the finace very pleasant and fully explains everything making sure if… there are any questions they are fully answered. by drd on 01/04/2021Found a Tahoe I was looking for with the options I wanted. I went through the internet sales department to purchase the vehicle. I drove to Midway to sign the purchase agreement and leave a deposit since the vehicle was in transit. After… arriving at Midway I asked about a more definitive delivery date, I was informed that the vehicle I was purchase was not available as the General Manager was purchasing the vehicle for his son. I am totally confused at the ineptitude of the sales team as well as why this would even show as available inventory. I even asked to speak to the GM with no call, text or email. I will now order exactly what I want through Van Chevrolet. I highly recommend seeing Scott Daly. Not only will he find you the best deal but is honest as well.buying a new vehicle
