I'm torn
by KarAnd5 on 08/15/2018I am having a hard time writing this. When I dropped my vehicle off my service advisor, Nicholas Thomas, was very rude. He even brought me to tears. I felt I couldn't do or say anything right and he was rushing me. However when I picked up… my Challenger Nicholas was great, very kind and talkative. My service was completed in a timely manner. Maybe he was having a bad morning, but I left there with tears running down my face in the morning. I even thought about leaving and making an appointment at another Dodge dealer, however I was blocked in by other vehicles. This isn't the first time I have not had a good experience at AutoNation. We are in the market for another Jeep and I can't bring myself to buy from there. I know I will never use the service center. I was going to give 1 star, but I changed to 2 starts since Nicholas was very nice at pick up.Viabration issue

by Payofftradein on 04/25/2018**BE AWARE** I purchased a 2018 Jeep Compass. I was told that I had 21 days to come up with down payment. I brought in a blank check they ran it for a hold there bank did not clear it. Rianna said they will still give me 21 days to come up… with the money. In the meantime my trade 2015 Kia Soul is on the lot and posted for sale. Kia Motors continues to call me for additional car payments. Talked to manager at AutoNation he said they WILL NOT pay off the Kia without the down payment. But Autonation said we had an arrangement???? Since I was no longer liable for the Kia I assumed I did not have to continue making payments. WRONG Kia has contacted the credit bureau since I was not making my payments. So I had to pay Kia to get them to stop with the hasselling calls and credit postings. ????Anyone else ever experience this????Excellent dealership
by salt7 on 01/22/2014updated 06/28/2017We had a truly outstanding sales experience with Syed N. He was helpful, no pressure and knowledgeable about his product. We also enjoyed our time with the credit manager which almost always the least enjoyable part of buying a car . I… would recommend both to a friend who was looking for a new Fiat.We are happy to hear of your positive experience with our dealership. We listen to the needs of every customer and we are happy our team was able to provide you with great guidance and knowledgeable expertise. Thanks again for the positive feedback!

by jordi2 on 01/12/2012updated 06/28/2017After the sale I was contacted by the salesman to sign a waiver for free service from FIAT I never agreed to that waiver None of the papers provided to me have this waiver This one of the principal reasons got the car I have nor been able… to get an answer in writing from the dealer The response is to get me to drive to the dealership for an explanation, even when I was in Las Vegas Due to the distance and to avoid misunderstandings I requested all the communication in writing This was December 20th and now in January 11, 2011 still waiting for a response Terrible customer serviceHorrible used car buying experience
by backinaz1 on 09/07/2012updated 06/28/2017If you want the "typical" used car salesman lies/excuses/horrible service PLEASE visit Fiat of North Phoenix and ask for Dave P.! My husband and I were purchasing a used vehicle for our 16 year old daughter...with a 10k CASH… budget...thought we'd get a great used car for that kind of money. We test drove a car that had a few issues but was assured by our trusted (yeah right) salesman Dave that he would do whatever it took to make the car right for us. It needed two new tires and and an alignment...long story very short...it took four days to get an alignment out of them!!! NO new tires...that were separated (per Discount tire)!!!! The car is now home and SAFE for our teenager to drive...but please, please, please go elsewhere to purchase a vehicle. I'm saddened and disgusted that people can treat others in the manner that we were treated.great dealership-great service
by lonnelle on 09/05/2013updated 06/28/2017I purchased a used automobile with over 100k miles on it. The dealership quoted me a fair price and didnt play games, they helped me attain financing and they also gave me free maintenance and roadside assistance. Highly recomend....WONDERFUL DEALERSHIP!!!
by ANGELPUP on 09/20/2013updated 06/28/2017I went to AutoNation Fiat in North Phoenix, looking for a Used vehicle. Rob P was wonderful! He worked very hard, looking for the vehicle I wanted! I have purchased many cars from many different dealerships and I had the best experience… ever with Rob, John in Sales and David in Finance. I would highly recommend AutoNation Fiat to anyone looking for a vehicle! They are the BEST!!!! I LOVE my new car!!Great experience
by kshaffer63 on 10/23/2013updated 06/28/2017I had the best experience at North Phoenix AutoNation. I came to the dealership after leaving another Tempe dealership mad because they lied to me. AutonNation in every aspect was awesome and I know I am a difficult customer. I even brought… the car back as part of their 3 day money back guarantee to get a model without the moon roof and they never hassled me. Everything was easy and I never felt like I was a bother. I would buy another car from them in a heartbeat!!!!!!!Still not fixed after 3 tries
by mlb_22 on 01/20/2014updated 06/28/2017In November 2013, I bought a Â’97 Escort from AutoNation Fiat North Phoenix for my 17 year old son to drive. The buying experience was fine – everyone was very friendly, there were no high pressure tactics, and paperwork was processed… relatively quickly. One week later, after filling the tank, fuel started leaking – a small but steady stream. Because I live in Chandler and the dealership is in North Phoenix, I took it to AutoNation Toyota at the Tempe Auto Loop. The service manager there told me the bottom of the car was banged up and it had obviously been driven over something. This fact was not in the CarFax and although it was obvious to a mechanic, it had not been revealed to me prior to purchase. In addition, the fuel filler hose was kinked, other hoses were improperly attached, the gas tank was the wrong one for the car, and a bracket was loose. He told me AutoNation Toyota never would have put it up for sale in that condition, and he arranged to have it taken back to AutoNation Fiat so it could be repaired. It took a while, he said, because initially no one returned his calls. The AutoNation Fiat service department is shared with AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Phoenix. The rest of this is about that service department. The service manager for my car was Erica G. Once my car was at her location, I tried to contact her to discuss the issues. She never returned my calls. When I picked the car up 7 days later, the paperwork said I complained about a fuel smell (no, it was a leak), and that they replaced a fuel pump seal, adjusted the tank strap, and rerouted the filler neck hose. Although I had just filled up the tank, the car was returned with ½ tank. One week later, after another fill-up, fuel started leaking again – once again a small but steady stream. This time I had the car towed to the service center. Whenever I called to describe the issue and ask about my car, I was transferred to Erica G, who again never returned my calls. This time they replaced the tank. My son picked up the car after 7 days, and the gas tank was only ½ full. I was out of the country at this time. My son indicated there was still a strong fuel smell. He took the vehicle to a nearby mechanic who said the filler hose was kinked (although AutoNation claimed in writing to have fixed that the first time) and the gas tank was leaking. Since I was out of the country, I told my son not to drive the car and to just leave it in the driveway. Upon my return, I confirmed there was still a strong fuel smell. I filled the tank completely to see if it would leak again, but no leak was visible (not enough to pour onto the ground). I called the service center, and was again transferred to Erica G. In my message, I explained the issue and pointed out to her that the previous two times she had never returned my calls, so if there was someone else I was supposed to speak to, please let me know. Lo and behold, she called me back, only to tell me they had replaced everything they possibly could replace, so I should bring the car up to be detailed since the odor was probably just stuck in the fabric of the car. She said they would also check it out to make sure there wasnÂ’t another problem. The odor was so strong it came into my laundry room and pantry, just off the garage, so I didnÂ’t think a lingering odor in the fabric was the case, but I agreed to bring the car back a third time. Later that day, I noticed a puddle under the car which I thought was oil, although it was at the back of the car, so I had it towed instead of driving it myself. When I stopped by the service center, Erica and a mechanic showed me a hairline crack on the top side of the tank they had installed. They had also checked for an oil leak, but didnÂ’t see anything. The mechanic pointed out a sticky substance on the tank near the hairline crack that he thought I could have mistaken for oil. I now suspect that someone at some point in time had tried to repair the hairline crack with epoxy, and once I filled the tank and the gas came into contact with the epoxy, the gas dissolved the epoxy and it dripped off the tank onto the floor of my garage. They located another tank, and we picked up the car after 8 days. This time the gas tank was full, but I had told Erica I expected it to be. Once we got the car home and put it in the garage, we still could smell fuel after a short period of time. I replaced the fuel cap and then sprayed Febreze on the upholstery and took it to a car wash to have the undercarriage cleaned, but the fuel smell persisted. I then took it to a nearby mechanic, only to be told the filler neck hose was loose and it was a heater hose instead of a proper fuel hose. He re-installed the hose, but couldnÂ’t get the proper hose at that time because it was a holiday weekend. He indicated it might last about 6 months and I would need to have it replaced. Information I found online regarding using heater hose in place of fuel hose was pretty consistent: DonÂ’t do it. Here is an example from Motor Magazine, Feb 2010: When replacement time comes, one of the first questions should be, WhatÂ’s the correct hose material for this application? How many times have you seen, for instance, a piece of 5⁄8-in. heater hose drafted for duty as a fuel neck vent tube hose? According to every manufacturer I contacted, this is strictly prohibited. Even silicone heater hose, widely—although incorrectly—considered the most chemically resistant bulk hose available, is a very poor choice for such an application. You really need a hose specifically designed for this sort of use. I have now owned the car for just over 2 months and still isnÂ’t fixed. I can still smell fuel in my garage after the car has been parked there for a short period of time. It has been in the shop for 23 days, and has been unavailable for my son to drive for even longer than that. What would make me happy? Nothing, really. But, IÂ’d be satisfied if AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram or AutoNation Fiat either paid to have the car fixed at an alternate, non-affiliated garage, including taking it there and back, or, if they donÂ’t want to fix it (which seems to be the case), allowed me to return the car under the Lemon Law for its full purchase price. In addition, I expect them to reimburse me for the fuel cap ($14), the car wash ($20), the diagnostic and re-attachment of the fuel hose ($38), $40 for the two half-tanks of gas that disappeared from my car, $20 (so far) for bus passes my son had to buy when I was unable to let him use my car, and $151 for mileage to drive one car 30 miles to the north side of town to pick up the “repaired” vehicle and then drive two cars home (at the IRS 2014 standard business mileage rate of $0.56 per mile). Last but not least, they need to apologize profusely for repeatedly putting my sonÂ’s health and safety at risk. Well, never mind that last one – they can never make up for that. We, sincerely apologize for your negative experience. We never want any customer to feel like this at the dealership. We would like to find an appropriate resolution to your concerns. If youÂ’d be willing to give us another chance, please call (602) 896-2199 and our General Manager will assist in helping to correct the experience you have had thus far.
Used car serviced by idiots
by C_est_la_vie on 01/26/2014updated 06/28/2017Autonation Chrystler, Dodge and Jeep N. Phoenix service department personnel bring incompetence to new heights (or lows). Do you not understand that gasoline is explosively flammable and that gas tank fill hoses should be self-grounding,… or do you not even care?We are happy to hear of your positive experience with our location. Exceptional deals and positive customer service come standard with the dealership. Thanks again for the great review!
Very nice, but slow
by AzJAL on 09/03/2014updated 06/28/2017These guys are very friendly to deal with. After we came to an agreement on price, we were kept waiting for longer than necessary to complete transaction.Satisfied
by GoArizona on 10/07/2014updated 06/28/2017Having given up on buying a vehicle in Tucson we searched the Phoenix area and found Auto Nation Fiat in North Phoenix. They had a new 2013 Fiat Lounge that was loaded with almost every option. The car had less than 200 miles on it all from… test drives and was deeply discounted. I was alble to negotiate a trade-in value via email and a single phone call. We fell in love with the Lounge and traveled to Phoenix to take a look and test drive. Matt at Auto Nation was wonderful, very knowledgeable with no pressure or hard sale techniques. He answered all of our questions honestly and took very good care of us. My wife and I ended up "adopting a little Italian" that day. We got to know each other on the drive back to Tucson. We are very happy with our "adoption" and with Auto Nation and especially Matt. We will make the drive to Phoenix when we look at other vehicles in the future. We are glad you chose our dealership! Thank you for the great review and we sincerely appreciate your business. Hope you're enjoying your vehicle, and as always, drive safe!
Duct Tape holding a part together!
by paajaa on 10/08/2014updated 06/28/2017Bought a car with duct tape holding a part together! Really. Here's the story. Bought a used Ford Expedition from them on Saturday afternoon, September 20th. Three salesman sat in the air conditioned office watching my husband go over… this vehicle for 45 minutes in 100+ degree heat. My husband knows a thing or two about cars. He seemed satisfied and we completed the sale late in the day, near 5:00. On Sunday morning my husband continued his inspection at home and found a loose idle pulley (about a $35 dollar part). He could see a definite mechanical issue, a small one, but still. Auto Nation Fiat said "NO" to that repair, saying we bought the vehicle "as is." So much for being proud of selling a vehicle in proper mechanical working condition right off the lot. BUT here is the kicker…and this is not a joke. We found loops of duct tape holding the cowl (the black vent-looking piece that sits between the front hood and the base of front windshield) onto the vehicle. They were across the whole length of the vehicle and there was evidence of duct tape that had been there but removed. By the time we processed our decisions about this vehicle it was about 3:30 on Sunday afternoon and tried to call our salesman, who had just left for the day. The voicemail box we were directed to was not his. We had been in email contact so we sent him an email saying we would be returning the car the following day, as per the 3-Day satisfaction guaranteed policy of Auto Nation. He would have had that email as soon as he checked in the morning. And he was at work on Monday, at another location. We returned the vehicle on Monday afternoon, to find out that our salesman failed to inform the business office of our intention to return it, so they went ahead and processed our partial credit card, partial personal check to the total sum of $12,000+. The woman in the office told me directly that had she known we were returning it, she would not have processed the transactions. This point was later contradicted by the "manager of finance" who said they processed everything immediately. The credit transaction was refunded on the spot, but I had to prove that my check had cleared my bank before they could initiate my personal check refund. I did that on Thursday, September 25th and was assured a check would be sent immediately. I called and asked to speak with the "finance manager" on September 30th, who knew nothing about this. He assured me that he would look into it and get back to me the next day but he didn't. So I called and asked about the status of my money and got a very vague "I'm sure it is in the mail answer." As of today, October 8th, I have not received my $7000+ dollars. We regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Please call our General Manager directly at (602) 399-7003 for ways we can work towards resolving these issues. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Very Good Car Buying Experience
by MarcusCarefree on 11/06/2014updated 06/28/2017I have owned multiple Bimmers, Benz, Audi, and Ranger Rovers so my expectations as to dealer experience were not high. Especially after attempting to deal with Scottsdale Fiat where a straight answer is akin to speaking Mongolian. Tom… Blessin was absolutely straight-forward and totally absent of bs. Wow, what a refreshing change. Just as with my other European car buying experiences, when I arrived to test drive the specific vehicle we had been negotiating, it was washed and sitting inside. Tom took the time to go over the vehicle, a 500L TREKKING with every option imaginable, from front to rear and in-between. We proceeded to embark upon a ten mile test drive which was the final point in my decision process. I was not expecting an X1, but the 500L exceeded all of my expectations. The seats were supportive and comfortable, The sightlines every bit as good as any vehicle I have every driven. The Beets stereo, though not a Bose, was darn good and the navigation screen about as large as can fit. The sunroof portion of the panoramic roof was amazingly large. We reached a deal in about two minutes. No bs, as I said earlier. In fact we were about $300 below my targeted price. Save yourself time and hassle and simply seek out Tom Blessin at AutoNation Fiat. Can't wait till the Alfa Romeo 4 door arrives as I plan to buy one. For now, the 500L Trekking will be my secondary ride for about 12 months when I will be making it a birtday present for one of my children. Thanks so much for sharing your story with us, Marcus. We are happy Tom was able to help and that you are now the proud owner of a FIAT 500L. If there is anything else we can do for you, please give us a call.
Best Car-Buying Experience I Have Had
by awaldon on 03/12/2015updated 06/28/2017I did not think it would be possible for me to get a new car ... I have poor credit and I was way in over my head in my expenditures per month on the vehicle I was driving. I went to North Phoenix FIAT and was assisted by Matt. I explained… my situation and Matt helped me find the right car that fit my budget and worked with me to make it happen. I ended up with a car that was more than what I expected! The sales experience was painless and Matt's customer service made the whole experience stick out in my mind as the most pleasant car-buying experience I have ever had.Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate your recommendation of our location and we hope to be of service again in the future.
