My husband and I sat in your waiting area 20 feet from 7 sales representatives and were completely and totally ignored for over twenty minutes. That doesn't include the 3 we came across outside that ignored us. I guess they didn't want my $25,000.00 in cash that I came with to buy a new car. They were not busy. They just stood around talking to each other. I guess they were too busy selling each other cars to help the two overweight and casually dressed customers. You lost a lot today!

  • Warranty Issue

4 out of 5 starsby azbigdaddy on 03/17/2015

I would like to thank Robert Adams, my service professional, who relentlessly pursued a warranty issue I was having with my 2011 Chevy Silverado. He clearly recognized the issue I was having as a covered repair and was expedient in getting the necessary repairs completed and my truck back to me in a timely manner. Outstanding people create an outstanding dealership. My thanks all around.

Excellent job all around, Robert Diggs and Thomas James in sales, Adam and Tom in finance. Thanks again.
  • THIS IS A GREAT PLACE IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR TREATED LIKE JUNK!!

    1 out of 5 starsby Mr_Me on 01/08/2015

You forgot another very important question! Will I ever be back to Auto Nation Chevy? I definitely will NOT! I brought my 2014 Silverado in for its first oil change and it was treated by the workers like it was stolen junk not a customer truck! The first question I was asked was if I bought it from them. The answer was no (I did look at Trucks from them but they didn't have what I was looking for), so I guess at this point I was a second class citizen and they could treat my truck anyway they wanted. What happen as I was waiting for my truck I was walking around and I noticed my truck had a case of oil and a bottle of oil lying on its side on top of my custom painted tonneau top. When I said something to the workers I was looked at like who are you and what are you doing here. (I didn't go inside the shop I was on the outside looking in). So I went and found a manager and ask him to get the oil off my truck. Now in case you don't know tonneau tops are NOT designed to hold item on them. Now at least once a week I get letters or a phone call asking that I give Auto nation Chevy an excellent review to GM. They are putting pressure on me by telling me that I am rating Tommy my service rep. While Tommy did me a fine job, I am NOT telling GM that I am happy with Auto Nation Chevy service department. When I am so mad at them I will NEVER give them anymore of my business.... OH by the way the oil change took an hour and 40 minutes when I had an appointment for it. Quick lube does one in 29 minutes.....
  • great service

I am a snowbird that finally found a dealership I will go to for any of my auto needs. As you know, here in the valley there are more places that you can list as 'don't go to' but this is the 'only place to go'. thanks for your great service.
  • excellent customer service

5 out of 5 starsby mlombino on 10/28/2014

I have to say that my experience over the past few years with Chevy dealerships has been disappointing. That is until I met Tommy Durante. He has really gone the extra mile every time I bring my truck in for service. It's refreshing to feel like someone actually cares and takes pride in what they do. Good work Tommy!
  • Sttod by their word from beginning to endof deal...

5 out of 5 starsby CWFESS on 10/24/2014

I traded in vehicle(s) for a 2015 Silverado LTZ, the initial deal as told by my sales person; Mark Faridian and General Sales Manager Jerry Castano was identical as promised at the end of the process. They stood by their word. I was very pleased to see that the end result was as promised, my life experience with car dealerships, shows this was unique, therefore, my next purchase will be with AutoNation Chevrolet Superstition Springs, and hopefully with both of them. I will recommend them to friends and family.
  • Warranty work

    2 out of 5 starsby Bad_Chev_Ser on 08/22/2014

Only took 3 times to get my 2014 Silverodo right. Service folks need checklist to make sure the job is complete and all systems are working. Don't worry AutoNation, Chapman has inattentive service staff also.

  • I found my Chevy HHR!

5 out of 5 starsby KermsHHR on 07/29/2014

When the time came to replace my vehicle, my budget told me used was the way to go and my research told me an HHR would be perfect. The vehicle was exactly as described online. Small problem with the side mirrors was taken care of immediately and I appreciate the finance guys working with my budget. Drove it home! I am a very satisfied customer the vehicle and the dealer.
  • Run and don't look back! No customer service at this service department.

    1 out of 5 starsby pico2 on 10/12/2010

RUN and don't ever look back! I had been going to this dealership since 2002 with my chevy zr2 blazer. Been there 15 plus times. In 2007 I had the fuel pump replaced and had a lifetime warranty, which means they would replace free of charge to me for the life of my Blazer. I moved to San Diego and as of October 2010 the fuel pump went out again. Called Stephanie in service and told her I couldn't find my receipt and asked her if she'd fax me a copy. She said no problem. Didn't receive a fax or a call back so I called the following day. She said sorry but she was busy and she had to go through boxes of stuff because they did something with their computer system. I called back and ask for the Manager (Fernando) . He acted like he was going to help and asked me for the VIN number. I took it right off old receipts from them. He called me back and said he couldn't find any trace of me and asked me to send him a copy of an old receipt. I did and 4 hours went by. I called back and left message. Fernando called me back and said we purged all your files and can't help you. I said thats not acceptable and something has to be done. He said SORRY. I told him I'd take action against them and write a review on the internet about how they do business. He actually laughed at me. I contacted GM and they took a report and said they can't just erase files like that and said they'd talk to Mr Fernando. Well, I'm happy to say I found my receipt so Power Chevrolet will have to pay even though they purged all my files. So, much for the 100 percent satisfaction they print on their receipts. Save yourself and go some where else!!! Who is laughing now Fernando???
  • Horrible sales tactics.

1 out of 5 starsby changochulo on 09/01/2010

My husband and I bought a car from this dealership. We agreed to a financing contract of 24% interest rate. The next day, Luis from the finance department called me stating that Chase bank approved my financing at 15% interest rate. However, Luis stated that in order for the bank to approve the 15% interest rate, we would need to purchase a GMPP Extended Warranty from the dealership at 1800 dollars. I called Chase to verify this information and was told Chase does not require purchasing an extended warranty. I relayed this information to Luis in the finance department, at which point he kept insisting that this was true. I told him that I was not signing the new contract with the 1800 dollar warranty on it. I also told him that we would go ahead and continue with the old contract at 24% which we did. Three days later, Chase called us to verify the terms of the contract. They stated that our interest rate had been approved at 15% interest with out the need of a warranty like Luis stated. In short, I feel like the finance department at Superstition Springs Chevrolet tried to take advantage of us by requiring that we buy something from them that we did not need. These selling practices are wrong, immoral and prey on other consumers that fall for these false tactics
  • Still waiting for the title, poor customer service, and they lie.

1.8 out of 5 starsby rkray on 08/10/2010

I bought a used 2001 Ford 150 from these guys and paid cash. They bragged about the truck being a one owner and that it was owned by the husband of one of their employees. Well it has been over 65 days as of this writing and I still don't have the title or plates. They have since told me a different story about how their employee had to get in touch with the person that they bought they truck from to get a duplicate title and when that comes in, they will file for my title. Not very apologetic and the sales manager was just plain rude. I believe that with the dealers hurting for business and how competive it is for every customer, I would skip Power Chevrolet at Superstition Springs, and maybe all of the Power Automotive Group Dealers as well. I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that they have had many complaints already. To sum this dealer up: 1. Very poor customer service. 2. Failure to disclose pertient facts (they say they have no duty to disclose anything) 3. Outright Lies about their cars just to get the sale. 4. Poor reputation and consumer reviews. There are plenty of Chey dealers out there, I would find a different one with better reviews.

    2.8 out of 5 starsby sam181 on 06/13/2010

I took my truck up to Power Chevrolet Superstition Spring in May2010 to have some work done on the brakes. When I got it back my receiver hitch was gone, not just the receiver part, the entire hitch had been unbolted and stolen off my truck, and naturaly they claim no responsability and will do nothing for me.
  • Buyer Beware

    1.7 out of 5 starsby sam181 on 05/31/2010

I purchased a used truck in May 2010. The truck appeared to be in very good condition and the salesman assured me that it had gone through an extensive inspection. But, when I test drove the vehicle it had a "check engine: light on,and the tailgate straps were broken. The brakes also were making a grinding noise and appeared to need service. They did clear the "check engine' light and replaced the talegate straps but only to get me to buy the truck. The salesman also told me to call him the following week and they would set up an appiontment to look at the brakes. The following week I called for 3 days and left several messages for this salesman, but never got a responce. Finally on the 4th day I was able to reach him and he very hastely told me to bring the truck up any time and hung up. So on Saturday I took the truck up to them, the service dept called me back a few hours later and told me that all 4 brakes needed replacing at the cost of $400 + and that all 4 rotors needed to be turned at $200 + and that the sales dept had instructed them that I had to pay this because the truck was sold 'As Is" I filed a complaint with the BBB and the next day the General Mang called and said they would repair the brakes. Three days later they called and said my vehicle was done. When I picked it up they handed me a receipt that satated they used "after market brake pad" with no warrenty and they did not turn the rotors. I drove the truck around the building and took it back to the service dept and told hime it was still grinding. He said alls he was authorized to do was brake pads. I asked him what was the point of putting on pads when the rotors are bad, he told me I had to talk to the General Mang (who was not in) At this point I was getting angry and I got into my truck and left. I again contacted the BBB, and low and behold, Mr General Mang wrote an e-mail to the BBB that stated I was free to bring it back up to have the rotors turned. When I took it back up and they looked at it again, they said that the rotors were to thin to turn at would have to be replaced at the cost of $200+ x 4 and of course I would have to pay it because all they agreed to do was turn them. The BBB refuses to take any further action and I am stuck with a vehicle that is unsafe to drive. My only other option is to sue.. Since that time I have found several other problems such as a short in the turn signals, the power streering growls, the check engine light has came back on etc. If this truck was inspected it was done by a blind man. Save your money and go else where!!!
    • I wish I had read some of the reviews of this dealer before I bought from them. I have since written my own review. I also had a negative experience.

  • Horrible experience

    1.5 out of 5 starsby usmc513 on 09/08/2009

I am disgusted at the service we received at Power Chevrolet dealership. We purchased a new 2009 Suburban at the end of July that started to stall on us while driving (we almost had two accidents as a result). The dealership attempted to fix it, but agreed with us that the vehicle was unsafe and they said they understood I didn't want to put my family back in it given the nature of the problem. The first stalled incident almost caused me to rear end a car with my three kids in my car. It happend twice after that. They agreed to put us in a new Suburban with 0% financing (just to be nice), but what they didn't do was apply our paid off Tahoe trade in ($8100), the $3000 cash we gave them or the $2000 rebate we received on the first one. They said they "fixed" the car with the upgrades GM sent them, but no one could guarenntee it wouldn't happen again. After hours of us waiting in the waiting room, they presented us with loan for thousands more than what we paid for the other one and did not take off anything since it was being considered a "trade in." We signed reluctanlty because the safety of my family was at stake if we continued to drive the vehicle. I'm sickend that they would do this to us. They had us over a rock and a hard spot that forced us to choose being taken for over $10,000 or keep a lemon that jeopardised the safety of my family until the Lemon Law kicked in when they would of had to return our money. I really thought they were working for us to help us and sell us a quality vehicle, but in the end they sold us two Suburbans and made a killing off us. Shame on them.
  • No High pressure tactics, stuck to upfront price.

It was a pleasure to do business with Autonation Chevrolet, Superstition Springs in Mesa. They gave us an upfront, out the door price and stuck to it. No surprises, add ons, or high pressure tactics. Once we purchased the car, the salesman, Christian and the Finance Manager, took time to explain and make sure we understood everything. We recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a Chevy.

We went to AutoNation looking at new trucks " Just Looking ". Received great information from Ryan W. Took our time to process the purchase and finally decided on the 2014 Silverado. Ryan was fantastic! He took his time with us and discussed all of the options that would fit our needs.

Joe Lopez of Power Chevrolet is the top salesman for me. This is the second vehicle that Joe has helped me with. Each time he has done everything possible to assist me in my quest for the perfect car, and the finance staff was outstanding. They strived to meet my needs and request regarding monthly payment requirements. The entire dealership has treated me with respect and politeness. I have enjoyed doing business with them including maintenance of my other vehicle purchased from them. I look forward to our friendship and long lasting relationship.

I was very impressed with my service. I called and was able to bring in my car the same day. Robert, my service advisor, was nice and listened to my concern. I was offered a shuttle ride but it was not needed. A few hours later I got a call that my car was done. I love that they always wash my car before I take it home. Would recommend this place!

I brought my car in for an oil change and my dash was cracked. My oil change cost lower than I thought and my dash was replaced under warranty - No questions asked!!! I am very impressed; normally you have to fight to have warranty work done. My car was ready the same day! Thank you Tim!!!
