Love the truck, been doing research and comparisons for two years now. Also had my eye on Gateway and chose the dealer for its customer service history. I had a great salesperson.

Mike was amazing as our sales person. He answered all of my questions and went… over everything that the truck could do and all the options that it had! RAZZ was our financial person and he also was amazing and made the process very simple and smooth! I keep getting messages that O need to roll down the passenger and drivers windows before driving. Yesterday 10/02/204 I recevie the same message " Service… Transmission, you may soon not be able to shify\t gears" This was the orginal message that cause me to take my vehcielie in for service. I call ed the service department this morning to let thm knpw. The service advisor who answered the phone told me a manger would call me back and so far no one has returned my call.Great experience

by dirg1223 on 08/14/2017Quick rundown with explanation below. Overall typical sales tactics and dealership haggling. Called to confirm first service appointment, got routed to voicemail after having someone answer second time, person finally just confirmed it… themselves as no one was answering. Communication between their service department, shuttle service and cashier/front attendant non-existent. Bought a new Truck, waited to do my review because the entire sales process hadn't been fulfilled. Had an add-on item negotiated into vehicle sale. Made cash offer, took all afternoon to get finished, typical. Week later took vehicle into service to finish sale fulfillment. Arrived at 7:15 a.m. to make sure I could get on their shuttle service, waited 35 minutes was told shuttle service just left after asking what was taking so long after confirming with multiple employee's they'll announce over the speaker. Ended up waiting another 15 minutes and just ordered an Uber to work. Buying a vehicle is the 2nd most expensive thing most will do in their lifetimes. The customer service and communication should be on par with this. Unless you really need a vehicle here and have all day to wait on them, look elsewhere.WOW!!!!!!

From the greeting I received at the front door upon my arrival, to the moment a picture was taken of me with my new car, shanking hands with salesman 'Alfonso'… just before departing, was a fun and wonderful experience! The owner, Joe, GM 'Howard' and Alfono treated me like I was a VIP buyer, making sure I was pleased with everything from the over-all deal to the cup of coffee they brought me. These guys are experts in knowing, and more importantly, 'providing' excellent customer service second to none! I have already told my friends and family about this dealership and it's caring staff.Great customer service

Provided links to current inventory vehicles that met our requirements. Delivered the new Chevy Spark to our home. Helped us setup On Star, My Chevy… and Sirrus satellite radio. Explained the car's features and expedited paperwork. In 50 years of car buying, this was the most deluxe service ever! Gateway Chevrolet is awesome!AWESOME PLACE

And we still have not resolved this issue. : Mr. Jackson, this is Mr. Hnry, you helped me with some issues that i had with a 2011… Impala that bought from Mr. Wilson. I picked the car up last night and there were some repairs that still have not been completed. The windshield still have a chip in it and the 2nd Key is still not made as of last night. I spoke with Mr. Wilson last Saturday, and he insured me that the key was made, and the Windshield was repaired. I truly don't know what is going on here with your employee after this sale. But i cannot trust anything that he is telling us anymore and his actions is making it hard for me to do business with Gateway in the future. It was dark outside and i did not pick up my vehicle until after 7pm last night. So I did not notice the windshield until i got home. Our vehicle was there for about 3-4 business days and was still not repaired as promise by Mr. Wilson your sales person. Mr. Wilson did not even go and check the car to insure the repairs were completed before calling and lying to me on the phone and saying it was ready to be picked up last Saturday. I want to have these repairs done in a timely manner as promise to us when we bought the vehicle. Mr. Jackson, I know that you talked to your employees about customer service during the sale, But maybe Mr. Wilson is miss the point about the customer service after the sale! If he worked for the corporation that we work in (Health Care) and his type of customer service that he has given to us is normal for him. He would not have a job and would get fired very quickly. I hope this is not the person that you use to rep your company name and the industry that you have chosen to make a career of. My Wife not only was left in the cold and rain with a disable car, when Mr. Wilson would not return my calls or emails. But this don't make any sense for him not to check and insure that ALL the repairs were complete before he call us and said it was ready for pick up. My wife is at work today and i truly expect this to be completed today. They can send the Glass Company to her job and repair the windshield, also you can deliver the new key to her today. P.S. by Thomas301 on 01/20/2016I would not buy a car from Gateway. On 01/18/2015, I called Joe Wilson of Internet sales. I inquired about a car they had advertised. He quoted me a verbal and written price for the car. The ad even states that the price would be good until… 2/1/2016. Today I called him and he increased the price by $1,000. These guys are rip off and I would be very careful when dealing with these [non-permissible content removed]. I would not give Gateway even 1 star. There is something to be said about dealing with an honest dealership and sales person.DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
by criccobono on 01/17/2016We got a car in October it immediately starting showing signs of engine trouble when we tried to call to schedule a service call they notified us there is no warranty and we would have to pay, and that there was no warranty at all, here we… are 3 months later with a car with a broken rod in the engine we never got a test drive they had it in the service department until we picked it up. Never thought a dealership could sell a lemon without having any type of liability. I will be telling everyone and anyone I can to not use this dealership so they don't have the same problem we do, a nice car payment with a huge money pit.Good Experience

Hes said it would be an hour or hour and half. But after the… hour and a half my truck had not been touch. I went to John and told him it was still just sitting behind the lube rack He immediately said what I take care of this. And he did wasn't long and the work was done Thanks to John and I was on my way.
