No tow package
by Hitchless on 07/07/2025So I drove an hr to buy a $25000 truck. It was night time, thus I had to trust the options listed on the website. The very first option listed was a tow hitch. The truck didn’t have a hitch. They would not put a hitch on or discount the… truck. Their excuse was “it’s up to the customer to look at the pictures on the listing”. This place in no haggle or as I say “set gross”. I needed a new truck so I caved in and bought it. I paid cash and 3 hrs later, I left with my truck. It’s now 11:30pm mind you and very foggy driving home. I turned the wipers on due to condensation and both wiper blades were ripped and flapping in the wind. Bottom line is there’s no way they performed a proper used car inspection on this vehicle. I took the truck to to an aftermarket hitch store and spent $700 on a hitch as well as $40 for wiper blades. If they would focus more on vehicle disclosure rather than controlling tactics, they could improve their operation. The sales manager and sales person were very nice, my issues are with the vehicle, not the sales team. I have the money to make the truck right, others may not. Shady operation is an under statement.Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We apologize for any confusion with the tow hitch and wiper blades. We strive to provide accurate information and will use this feedback to improve our processes.
