Bait and switch
by Jay on 03/13/2025I don't even know where to begin I have been searching for over 6 months and I found it called and spoke to Wesley he was incredibly reassuring and kind and told me the 2017 model S 75D was in stock so we went back and forth n the price I… was willing to pay cash but Wesley convinced me to finance to receive an additional $300 off we settled on a price and believe it or not this is where the nightmare began i signed 3 different contracts digitally and was told I needed a liquid signature and they would be sending me more paperwork to print off and overnight to them I agreed and then waiting for over 4 hours I had enough and I called.... system updates.... it will be to you within an hour.... 2 more hours post office is getting ready to close so I call again here's a qr code to scan and you can sign this way Wesley assuring me he would be in contact updating me waited and waited for an update so called back the next day Wesley is not in today but the gentleman that did the research to find out what was going on was super friendly honestly the only reason I clicked on recommended this dealership and gave the dealership a higher rating but enough about that I find on Monday that it has finally been listed to be shipped and would be picked up Wednesday and delivered Thursday..... today I get pictures of said car getting ready to be shipped and to my surprise its a diffrent car white interior... this wasn't the car I ordered and guess what ?? The right car just sold yesterday called Wesley immediately and told him it wasn't right that this was bait and switch.... his response.... "if that's what you say I did then I take full responsibility" im giving Wesley 21 hours to make this right he is well aware but still has the no care attitude and even laughed at me the last time I told him I would give him one last chance to go above and beyond to make it right.... I mean they already have my money its all paid for plus im a man that believes in second chances and everyone else there has been super nice and respectful but this is the worst salesmanship I have seen in my 20+ years as a retail manager the biggest slap in the face the correct vehicle is still listed for sale on multiple sitesCharles is the man!

by Flautiger on 12/20/2017updated 12/26/2017Deserves a zero rating. They made offer. I accepted next day in discussion with general manager. He told me what to bring and what time to be there. Showed up with certified check at appointed time. Sales manager said deal was off because… value changed. Advised I had an appointment and an agreement with GM. Melvin said if that were the case they would do the deal. After disappearing for a few minutes he comes back as deal is off. Advised we had an agreement. GM Bill and Melvin refused to honor. Their word is untrustworthy. Stay away they can't be trusted. Next stop file state complaint and litigation for breach of contract.Wonderful car buying experience!

Very efficient

I also want to commend the gentleman that cleans up the cars. He was… very helpful in going over some parts of the car. 2013 Honda CR-V

We visited probably a dozen dealerships and test drove several suv's. I found one online… at Birmingham Luxury Motors that hit all the marks and at a great price. I spoke to Stephen Whitlock and he answered all my questions with honestly and an openness not always provided in a car shopping experience. We drove 130 miles one way to see the car, and it was everything Stephen promised, and more. He went the extra mile to make sure the deal was one I felt good about. Outstanding place to purchase a car

Jack was a pleasure to work with, many times in car dealers you feel like you are just a… target for a salesperson. Not here, the entire process of purchasing the vehicle only took 2 hours. No long drawn out haggling or negotiations, no up-selling just open, honest (and refreshingly low-key) business. The entire staff was courteous and welcoming. Amazing from Start to Finish

However, Birmingham Luxury Motors was not just another dealership. I was test driving the vehicle I came to see within 10… minutes of arriving and test driving another (the one I took home) as soon as I returned with the keys from the first. Jack was amazing during my purchase and made everything easy and stress free. All commitments were honored that were agreed to prior to purchase and even a couple that I didn't notice until I got home. From prius to outlander

I am enjoying my outlander. It is a major change from my little gas saving… prius to a sporty vehicle that takes a little more gas then my prius did. Great product for the price

Although, the dealer had cars w/o an accident they were upfront that this car had been involved in an accident,… based on the car fax report. William: You've unfortunately misrepresented the facts in your review just as you did during the conversations with different salespeople at our dealership. Please allow us to clarify: On Monday, you came in to trade in your truck and we offered to buy it at greater than the dealer trade-in value. Melvin emphasized that the offer was valid for that day ONLY. You chose not to sell then, and thereby rejected that offer. On Tuesday, you called back to speak with Melvin. Melvin clearly advised you that since the offer expired the day before, that we could no longer buy that vehicle at that price. You then called back several hours later and spoke to the other salesperson, Bill, and misrepresented to him that Melvin has inspected the car and made you an offer to buy today, when Melvin had clearly told you just that morning that we can no longer buy that truck at the original offer since that offer expired at the end of the previous day. Bill had no reason to suspect that facts were being misrepresented to him; so instead, he made you an appointment to come in and complete the transaction. It's not until you came in and all parties came face-to-face that the confusion you created was clarified. Even so, we offered to figure a solution out that would be favorable to all, and you clearly refused.
