I gave the overall rating because it was a overall 5 star rating, However; I am a second time buyer with Capital Ford and I had hope that I wouldn't encounter the same experience that I experienced 7/8 years ago when I purchased my first truck with you. Unfortunately I have, I have been trying to get the registration correct on my new truck that I purchased but DMV indicates that the dealership still has not processed it?? I understand from past experience with you that it takes time and based on my scenario 8 years ago (which was simple), I thought after 8 years this would be fixed. I was also informed by the DMV that the dealership should have provided me a copy of the registration for the new truck even though my plate was transferred, If this time delay for registration is a norm, a copy of the registration for the new truck should have been provided. Makes me wounder if you guys even take these surveys serious??

Bronco Buyer: This place has the potential to be a great dealership but the other departments are terrible. The overall sale of the vehicle went smoothly. But when I received the vehicle it was covered in pollen from when it sat on the lot. Even the interior had pollen in it. So my sales rep took it back for another wash. I waited…and was still covered with pollen in the cabin of the vehicle. At this point I cleaned it out myself while still on the lot of the dealership. While cleaning it out I noticed the soft top had started to fall apart. I made this aware to my sales rep and he said he would put in an order immediately to replace the entire top. SEVERAL weeks later and after multiple text to him he finally told me I could come in to drop off the vehicle for installation. Not only did the installation take longer than what was said… it was performed terribly. I received the Bronco back with metal shavings all over the interior; the top wasn’t secured properly and now I have a strange metal sound sloshing around in the interior while I drive due to some of the small shavings that I can not locate. This was also very dangerous for my toddler as he could have seriously been injured by the loose shavings. I eventually had the time to properly secure the soft top later but I still have metal shavings in the cabin that I find periodically. Another problem to add is I noticed when I took the soft top off that it had deep scratches in the roof rails of the vehicle. I brought this to the attention of my sales rep and he essentially said they will get to it when they can because maintenance is backed up. Overall this dealership needs to get all the departments together and rectify their deficiencies. Because unfortunately it effects them as whole.

After purchasing my brand new 2021 F150 from Capital Ford, I figured I would continue to use them for my service needs. After my most recent experience I am rethinking my decision. My vehicle was experiencing a 12V battery failure on my drive to work and had to be towed to the dealership since the vehicle was telling me to find a safe place to park. I was receiving multiple errors in the truck and on my App. I contacted the dealership immediately to let them know I was having it towed to their location and was told it would be the next day before they could even look at the truck and they could not provide me with a loaner (Truck under warranty). Upon arriving with my truck, I explained all the symptoms of the truck and the service rep agreed that it was strange that my truck was able to be driven initially and the battery was not charging. Late afternoon the next day I contacted the service department and was told the battery was recharged and everything was ok. I questioned the service rep after our discussion, asking if the charging system was checked. He replied it was checked, but if I agreed to leave it another night they would check it the next day again. Late the next day I received multiple error notifications on my phone app and contacted the service rep. He said the technician drove the truck and said everything was fine. When I asked about my error notifications, he said let me check and found the messages on Fords internal system. He said he would call me back. After a few hours I received a call and told again everything is fine. I asked at this point based on the error notifications to speak with the shop foreman. Once I talked with him, he said he was not aware of all the issues on my truck and asked if they could keep it over the weekend and he said he would personally make sure it was looked at and fixed. On Monday I was contacted an that they checked the battery again and agreed it was faulty and received permission to replace. They charged the new battery and I was told the Technician would need to test drive and then if all went well they would get my truck back to me. I waited and later that day right before closing, they contacted me and said the Technician was pulled off my truck and he could not test drive it, they said it would have to wait until the next day and they left for the night. I tried calling and nobody answered the phone even though per their hours they were still open. I finally received my truck back 7 days later and not a single response to any of my calls to the management team about my concerns.

We ordered an F150 truck through Capital Ford recently, and had a great experience throughout the entire process. Even with the supply chain issues that Ford is having, everyone at the dealership helped us with the order to make sure we were able to build a truck to fit what we needed. When the truck was delivered, the rest of the process was just as good. It's never quick financing a car, but they did everything they could to get the process done as quickly as possible.
