Maybe it is because I"m a recent legal immigrant

Parks Chevrolet Kernersville owned by the Parks Auto Group is the worst. I'm a recent legal immigrant from Africa. I bought a Lexus GX used with 60000 miles. It turned out when I had the Lexus inspected after I purchased it, then entire underside of the car was rusted out, and the rust was hidden under a layer of black, sticky, underside paint, to hide the rust. The Lexus dealer in Durham advised me to take the Lexus back to the dealer to get a refund. All this happened in the span of two days. After two days, Parks Chevrolet declined to cancel the transaction, instead gave me a purchase credit $3,350 less than I purchased the car for two days earlier. They said it is my fault, as I should have had the Lexus inspected by the Lexus dealer (a round trip of three hours away, something they wont even allow pre purchase, take the car off their lot for three hours!). They dont believe in the products they sell (even carmax gives a three day return window because they believe in the quality of their products). Parks Chevrolet Kernersville owned by the Parks Auto Group, dont buy unless you have it independently inspected, as they sell bad products, and make customers carry the cost. Buyer be warned

False Advertising

Parks advertised a 2019 new Camaro SS on the Internet with a list price of $38,035.00, for sale for $31,866.00 with no qualifiers or disclaimers. Upon my inquiry it seems the price did not include discounts (most of which not everyone qualifies for) and dealer costs which increased the price by $6,000.00. It is terrible that this car dealership preys on those less astute in the car buying process by offering deceptive and false advertising just to get you in the door for a huge disappointment. Stay clear of this place. Those that participate in deceptive and false advertising are a disgrace to the car industry.

Garr Week 6

My scheduled maintenance was easy to get taken care of. One call to schedule time, and brought my vehicle in and was greeted personally and professionally. I was given an estimate of how long it should take, and within minutes of the stated time, my keys were in my hand and I was on my way. All of this vehicles maintenance has been done through Parks Chevrolet, and I will continue to do so.

Service Department.

I dread calling to schedule the routine maintenance for our vehicle. The scheduling part is fine... It's the fact that they do not offer to come pick up my car when I am less than a quarter of a mile from them. No, I have to bring it in, then wait for them to find someone to bring me back to work. Most of the time they have men waiting around, but can not decide which van to use.... Thank goodness that I bumped into Mr. Ed Eubanks. He works in the Truck Sales. He heard my issue and personally came to me and got my car and brought it back to me once Parks was through with it. He did not get paid for doing it, it was just customer service. I, a customer, will remember that. This was our first (and last) vehicle we will buy from them. We have also purchased the "Top of the Line Warranty" so we wouldn't have to worry about cost to have maintenance done, and they must not remember that... Everytime we bring it in, they try to charge us... They should look at our account when we schedule service, they would see it.

Extraordinary

I can't begin to express my appreciation and gratitude for Harris and the Parks Chevrolet of Kernersville Team. Extraordinary is a good place to start. I have purchased brand new cars from Harris, and His Team of Professionals; who happen to stand with him as The Top In their class, yet work as humble and loyal crewmembers on a top flight mission..it's called Team Work! Friendly and Professional

I went for my first oil change on my 2014 Chevy Malibu. What I loved most is that I didn't understand the terms of my warranty and maintenance and the sales woman explained to me what was covered. So of course I was excited to know I didn't have to come out of pocket. While getting my car serviced, they found that one of my sensors wasn't working and fixed it! No out of pocket expense for that either! This is what took my service a bit lover to complete. I am very satisfied and look forward to my next visit. The folks at Parks did a really good in taking care of Mali and I!!

Wires chewed

Found out critter had chewed wires in my car under the hood. Parks got right on it and made sure i had a vechicle to drive while mine was being repaired.

Awesome Doug!

It's not often that one can have complete confidence walking into a car dealership. Knowing Doug personally, we did most of our deal via e-mail and phone. We purchased our new Chevy Equinox sight unseen except for photos via e-mail. I felt very good about the trade-in value of our Buick. After a short test drive, we spent about 20 minutes at the dealership signing paperwork that Doug already had prepared. We drove away, very pleased with our new vehicle and a full tank of gas. Thanks to Doug Mackey and all of the friendly people we met at Park Chevrolet!

Service at Parks' Chevrolet

They were ready for me when I arrived at my appointment time. We went over what was needed - oil change, tire rotations, check brakes, replace windshield wipers, and detailing. I was driven back to my house and received a call when the car was ready and did I want to get picked up right way and shortly after the car they came to take me back. I was very pleased with the detailing--my car looked like new inside and out! They are always friendly and answer any questions I have.

Unscheduled Service

I had a problem with a windshield wiper on my 2013 Avalanche, and before it could do any damage to the glass I brought it in to Parks Chevrolet. Mike Swafford the Service Manager on duty greeted me, immediately looked at the vehicle and said that it would be taken care of. Less than 30 minutes later I was back on the road wiper fixed no issues or problems. Mike Swafford and Tim McGee always treat me with a high level of attention and make me feel that the organization is if fact working on my behalf and wants to make sure I am a satisfied customer. The result is that I trust them and the organization that they represent.

Had two holees in the side.walls of my tires. With a slow leak. I pumped them up. Had it took to parks in kernersville. Called to see if my car was ready. They told me nothing wrong with my tires. I was upset i called 4 times the last time i ask if they had tryed soapy.water. they said no when they used it they found them. Really cant find holes in tires

Kudos

I wanted to take a moment to give kudos to Todd McGee and Harris Dixon. I referred my daughter, Semantha, to Todd last weekend to purchase a vehicle. Todd spoke with Sami and then he connected her with Harris to find the car. She came into Parks Chevy and found the car, but wanted to think on it overnight. There was no pressure in her wanting to wait. After speaking with her about the vehicle, I pressed upon her that there is a Memorial Sale this weekend and if she waits too long, the car would be gone. When Sami called Todd on Tuesday morning at 7 am (he took her call at 7am!) that she would be there at 9am to work the deal, there was no hesitation in Todd relaying to her that yesterday was his and Harris’ day off, but they would be there with bells on. When we arrived, the car was up front waiting for her to view again and answer all her questions a second time. There were a couple of challenges for Todd in financing, but he got her approved and she is delightfully driving her car today. There was a question of a sound in the steering column and upon our return from a test drive, which Harris insisted she take to satisfy your mind, he immediately put it into service and they began an inspection and repair. Harris followed up with us throughout the day of the progress and at the end of the day he had it spotlessly clean, gassed and ready for her. I can’t say in all the years that I have been purchasing cars that at any time a sales person, let alone, a finance person, willingly, with smiles I might add, came in for Steve or I on their day off to finish a sale! They worked diligently until Sami found the perfect fit and Todd worked his magic until the sale fit her budget! Their loyalty to Parks Chevy is eminent, but their dedication to the customer is prominently outstanding. These two individuals by far set themselves above the average employees and I am extremely grateful for their attention to Sami’s needs and making this all happen.

Great

I love my NEW 2012 MALIBU thank you to Leon Prince and Donny Comardo for making this happen for me. This is the first new car I have ever owned and they made the process of buying a new car a GREAT experience. Leon went above And beyond and washed my car himself so I could drive a clean new car home. Todd McGee was also great he played music I enjoyed while signing the paper work. I am ONE HAPPY LADY. I will definitely recommend Parks to my friends and family.
