The easiest buying experience I have had!

Firstly, this place is awesome! They didn't try to upsell me, Dave, my sales person took his time with me, he explained the features, how to use them, and then he did it again ( to make sure I understood). I do appreciate this. I was drivings a 2020 gas powered Rav4. It's a great vehicle, however, low in tech. The Sportage Hybrid was like being in a spaceship compared to that. It's a lot, I was a bit worried, a little stressed on the test drive. Dave, he was calm and not worried that I was going to smash into a tree ( I was). I appreciate his calm present and gentle reassurance that everything‘s gonna be OK. I loved the car and I still do. They worked with me until we came to a price that was beneficial to all. The entire staff is welcoming. I get they are trying to sell me the next 4 years of my life. However, they aren't pushy, they don't come off as sleazy, or phoney. If you want a great vehicle, at a decent price, with a cool staff come to KIA of East Syracuse. If you want an overpriced car, a fat guy chewing on a tooth pick, trying to oversell you, and not listening to Whay you want, go someplace else. I will always come here from now on. Thank you KIA of East Syracuse!

EAST SYRACUSE KIA Awesome experience! Matt , Dave and Stephanie are the best ! Our 3rd sportage. We love it . 2 tone interior, ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES! Service manage- Mike is super! Awesome service just like the sales staff!

Car buying made easy!

Car buying made easy! This is the third car that we have bought from Matt Miller, Sales Manager at Kia of East Syracuse. We live in Rochester and followed him to Syracuse for our last purchase! Matt has always made everything super easy and provided us with a great car at a great price. Ila assisted me with my new 2023 Hybrid Sportage Prestige. We complete as much as possible online, drove to Syracuse, did our test drive, went to lunch while they finished the paperwork, and drove the car home. Ila was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She went through the cars many features, answered my numerous questions, set up our phones and Kia connect.

Straightforward transparency beats bling!

Purchasing a car, especially a brand new car, with a modest budget can be a major life-changing decision. Even before I go for test drives, I spend several hours of research on the cars including the dealership. Then, I compare at least 3 or 4 local dealers to decide who I will be committing the next 3, 4 or 5 years of my life with. I went to Burdick Mazda, Burdick Kia, Romano Mazda, Bill Rapp Subaru, Matthews Kia Clay and Kia of East Syracuse. Bill Rapp was ok but the Subaru Legacy’s dash was much too busy. The Mazda hatchbacks lost my vote based on poor visibility. The Kia K5 fitted my style and budget. Burdick Kia and (worst of all) Matthews Kia may have fancy showrooms and customer “meeting” areas but their sales styles were outshined by Kia of East Syracuse. There was no pressure to decide then and there. The salesperson didn’t have to do several trips back and forth to the sales manager. The “numbers” were clearly and logically explained. I was “allowed” to bring the calculations home with me so I can compare with the numbers from Matthews and Burdick which I wrote on post-it notes and even taken a picture with my phone because they won’t give the print outs to me. I would highly recommend a visit to Kia of East Syracuse. Ask for Mark. He’s a good salesman and I believe is a decent guy.

awful and dishonest service dept

treated like an empty checkbook .towed into the dealership. 3 days and 700$ later the problem was not fixed, it happened again. another 700 to fix the problem that should have been diagnosed the first time. told they could fix it that day, was not fixed until 2 days AFTER they said it would be completed. no loaners, no customer service to fix the situation, just false promised, misdiagnosed problems that put my kids and family in jeopardy due to the nature of the problem that was not diagnosed correctly the first time. awful!!

horrible place not recommended

This place is a horrible place to buy a car. First of all, the customer service is absolutley the worst. They are extremely rude. You can't talk to a manager (the ones who make or break the price). They send their workers who don't have anything to do with the price of the cars to do their dirty work. Second of all they are completely unreasonable. They had a trade in there that was so over priced and wouldnt take less than $10,000. We offered them $9,000 cash and the totally refused. We made two offers after that and they wouldn't budge. With the economy as bad as it is, you'd think that they would negotiate but they are so greedy that they refused. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I would go to any other place except KIA of East Syracuse. Worst customer service and prices.

Purchased a used 2008 Kia Sorenta

I purchased this car in May of 2009, The sales man Tim Vincent was wonderful, along with the new owner Dan, who was probably the only owner of a Dealership that was hands on and very professional, He saw to it that you were satisfied. This Sorento I purchase was the owners that he drove. There are a few little hick-ups in it, we took it over to the Dealer and again they were great. It would not do what it did when they were driving it., they said wait till it duplicates and we will take care of it. My husband took it over when it did duplicate the noise service man drove it, and sure enough he heard the noise. It will go in Wednesday of this week. We have purchase many other vehicles locally in the Syracuse Area, and Kia of East Syracuse have been the best to deal with. The finance manager was great, he explained everything to me, and if I had questions he took his time and explain what I did not understand. I would give this dealer and their personnel five stars if I could, and we will go back and buy other cars from them. My husband said for years he would never a buy foreign, This dealer changed his mind. We have owned in the past Dodge, Chrysler, Jeeps,and Fords and never got the treatment that Kia of East Syracuse, gave us. THEY ARE WONDERFUL !!!!!!!

worst place to buy from

This is the worse place to try to buy a car from. They have screwed me so bad. The sold me a warrentty that can't be used any wheres. I bought a Toyota Carolla there about a year ago. I have had nothing but problems trying to get any work done on the car. I was told when I was buying my car that I could go to any Kia deal and have my car fixed. Well apparently not I have an O2 sensor out of my car they don't have the equipment to work on it and no Toyota dealer will work with this warrentty. All I have to say is they are [violative content deleted]. They have messed me over so bad. Also worst customer service ever they are rude and couldn't give two flying [violative content deleted] unless you are buying a car from them right then and even then it is only till you sign the paperwork. DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!!
