Stay away ! Bonnell sold a used car w/o clear title

onBonnell sold a used car without holding a clean title and then did nothing to fix the situation; excuses and no action. They offered no alternatives and they did not care at all about the customer. I urge potential Bonnell Ford customers to go somewhere else.

Disappointed in used car purchase from bonnell ford.

onBEFORE leaving the car lot after purchasing 2017 ford edge, had the salesperson, Richard King, listen to the am/fm stereo, we BOTH heard all static on the radio stations. Asked him that I would liked that to be fixed, considering I just paid over twenty thousand dollars for the car. He kinda of shrugged, mumbled and gave me a non direct answer. 4 days later, I looked out my driveway and noticed the "shark fin" antenna was NOT there anymore. When I immediately called Richard, first thing out of his mouth was " it was on there when u drove off the lot ". So....after having no idea what happened to the antenna on top of the car, but knowing there was a problem with radio reception/antenna , and Richard telling me I would have to pay close to $700.00 for it, I was NOT happy. This was 4 days after purchasing the vehicle. After going back and forth with this "salesperson", who was acting like he didn't want to bother with me since he already made his sale, i decided to get the repair done so I could have the antenna, radio stations. After having to pay for the part up front, $280.77, had the repair done today 5/1121, they called and said my battery was going and should be replaced, another $185.00. Again, this is just 42 days after purchasing this vehicle. To say the least, I am NOT a satisfied customer. The service department didn't want to hear anything bout the radio problem i had either , even though I also told them that there was NO reception BEFORE I purchased the vehicle. Again, how would anyone else feel after pay twenty thousand for a car, being somewhat pressured to buy a protected extended service plan for $2,600.00 for which I still don't understand what it actually covers and then having to pay ANOTHER $857.53 on top of that.

onI cannot say enough about the great service department at Bonnell Ford. They are over 20 minutes from my home, but I always go there because they are cheerful, efficient, and do high quality work. Their nice waiting room and restrooms are cleaned and managed well during the COVID pandemic.

Great 60,000 Checkup

onI needed a 60,000 mile checkup and had some other minor issues that we covered by the protection plan. I knew I was going to need new brakes and the Service Manager did mention that. There was no hard sell to get it done as I had to wait to get paid, but I didn't feel pressured at all. The vehicle seat was covered in plastic and there was a plastic shield on the steering wheel, so I really felt safe from Covid.

onWas notified of 30K service. Service dept set up appointments, made arrangements for loaner car. Was met at entrance to service dept, all services to be performed were explained in detail. Was in the loaner car in less than in an hour and on my way. Next day pick up went just as smooth. Was met at service dept entrance, returned loaner car. Service manger, Jeff, went over what services were performed and explained conditions that I should be aware of.

onI scheduled some minor regular maintenance but was interested to know how it would be handled in the COVID era. From masks and hands-free drop off to pay over the phone and convenient “distant” pickup, Bonnell was its usual efficient, friendly self. The seat, floor and steering wheel had been covered and I even had a surprise $10 off coupon to add to the mailed coupon I used for service. It is a pleasure to do business there.
