Dave Wilson's the Best!

Until I worked with Dave Wilson, I had never enjoyed buying a car. Dave was such a pleasure to work with, and I felt like his only client. Working with him was like going back in time. He was organized, knowledgeable, considerate and a good listener. He also brought unexpected, fresh ideas to elevate the process. I never once felt like he was trying to “sell” me something…but rather assist me in finding the right vehicle for me. There was also no sense of a “game” or feeling pressured as with previous experiences. Dave goes above and beyond. After purchasing the vehicle, when most would be on to the next sale, he spent a generous amount of time with me in my new vehicle going through each and every button and programming capability. Learning about his family tradition in car and tractor sales going back to what I believe was the early 1900’s was also super meaningful! I wish all the best to Dave and recommend him to anyone and will gladly refer friends and family to him.

We live in Houston, Texas and are visiting our daughter and her family in Lawrence, KS. The 'check engine' light in our 2007 Toyota Tundra came on when we were about 200 miles from Lawrence. I dropped it off at Crown Toyota and they fixed it up for us - it turned out to be a very minor problem. Service Department was outstanding. When we returned to pick up the truck, my wife and I decided to take a look at the 2020 Tundras and Highlanders to get a feel for what we would like when we were finally ready to replace our Tundra. Myk Barta, in his relaxed and low-pressure manner, patiently took us through the choices. We were impressed with Myk and Crown Toyota in general and decided to give them a chance to find exactly what we were looking for and make us a fair deal. Two days later we drove off in our new 2020 Highlander Hybrid and we're very happy. I would highly recommend Myk Barta and Crown Toyota. Myk made the new car buying experience pleasant.

I heard about crown Toyota through a good friend of mine, when I was looking for vehicles. I felt the difference as soon as I Walked through the doors as their customer service was exceptional. Especially Mr. Zack Krishtalka who took care of everything from selecting to purchasing. Car was in excellent condition and I would highly recommend Crown Toyota for future buyers as well.

launched RAV4 XSE Hybrid from CROWN. Thanks David for expedite shipping because of that I got my vehicle on my daughter’s 1st birthday which was on Aug,2nd. 2017 Tacoma

I found the Tacoma thru a search on Edmunds. When I called Pete James answered every question I had and gave me a price I couldn't resist. We arrived 3 days later and the paper work was ready with my truck sitting out front. I couldn't have went any smoother. Check them before you buy.

Just purchased my 2016 Toyota Camry SE Special Edition. Bryan was a wonderful salesman, very helpful and professional. I felt like he went out of his way to make sure all the questions that I had were answered. I had a very pressure-free and laid-back experience. The cars that I test drove were very clean as well, which I did not experience at other dealerships. Bryan and Chase were very flexible with my husband and I's very busy schedule. I got a great deal for my trade-in and after doing my research with other Toyota dealers in the region, this dealership had the best price:miles ratio along with the cars being 1 owner. My husband and I are very impressed with this dealership, Bryan, and the rest of the Crown Toyota Staff.

Third GREAT car buying experience

I bought a used Mazda from Crown Toyota on Veteran's day 2016. It was the 3rd car I've purchased from Crown over the last 10 or so years. (one new and one used before this) My salesman was David Luedecke and I can't imagine an easier salesman to work with. He had been helping me for more than a month, while looking for the perfect car to show up. NEVER any pressure or gimmicks. The buying processes was fine and I think it was about 2 hours from start to finish and I had our 'new' car. Crown has always been fair and honest. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't check them out when looking for new wheels. b

Easy, simple and well-priced

Drove from Kansas City to Crown Toyota in Lawrence because pricing appeared competitive and the salesman (corresponded through email) was informative but not pushy. Test drove a used '09 Murano without all the jibber jabber that usually goes along with the drive. The salesman, Justin, was not in a hurry and never pressured me. I made an offer and he met it within $50. The administrative and other fees were less than $200. The dealership provides incentives to its mechanics to locate problems with trade-ins as part of their 180-point inspection. Justin gave me a document that provided the details pertaining to the $1,500 in repairs and (mostly) upgrades made to the car. They didn't have the car ready when I arrived to pick it up, but I was able to watch as an employee put the finishing touches on the detailing. Oh, and when I met with the finance manager, it was a pleasant interaction. Did not push any of the warranties on me. Also, important to note that Crown provides a 3-month, 3,000-mile warranty on used cars. The most a typical dealership will do is one-month, 1000 miles, or nothing at all. The entire experience was exactly how such a car-buying experience should transpire. Justin and the others were easy going, accommodating and respectful. I'll be purchasing another car soon, and I plan to start at Crown Toyota. I don't mind driving by the dozens of dealerships in the Kansas City area on my 45-minute drive to Lawrence.

It was time to buy a new car. My husband and I thoroughly did our research and decided on a Toyota RAV4. I spoke to several dealers in the Kansas City area first and then someone reminded me that I might find a better deal in Lawerence. So i reached out via email to the Crown Toyota. Tristan responded very quickly and was eager to earn my business. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, listened to what I was looking for and gave me the best deal. He was professional and continued to follow up with me, asking me to keep him in the loop as we made our decision. He wasn't annoying in his efforts to earn my business. He respected me and my time and was always available to answer questions. Thanks for making our first New Car purchase a great experience! This was the second time my wife and I had purchased a vehicle from Crown Toyota and we couldn't be more pleased. Tristan listened to what we had to say in regards to vehicle selection and did his best to find just exactly what we described. We never felt any pressure to add options or to purchase a more expensive vehicle to get more bells and whistles. Tristan genuinely wanted to find us exactly what we desired in a vehicle for our family. Financing was very open and honest. Tristan and the others made sure we knew what we were getting into and even politely dealt with our shenanigans when we kept asking questions and flip-flopped on our decisions. I would highly recommend this dealership for your next vehicle purchase!

I've been a loyal customer at Crown Toyota since 1998 and today showed me once again why Crown Toyota will ALWAYS have a life long customer in me!! This is my third vehicle with Crown, I bought my first one in 1998, my second in 2007 and now my third one. Both of my prior Toyota's hit close to 300k miles and I knew it was time to go into Crown. Since my last purchase my credit had slipped due to a prior layoff, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get into anything due to this. I spoke to Zac Swearingen and he set me up with David Wilson. David is PHENOMENAL!!! He helped me along the way and despite my past credit issue he was very reassuring that Crown would do everything they could to assist me. David went above and beyond and then some. We just purchased a 2016 RAV4 Hybrid from Crown Toyota. This was our second purchase from Crown, having previously bought a Prius in 2008. We were lucky to get Joe Higdon as our salesperson. He was so patient with our vacillating interest between models and our measuring of cargo space. He was very informative about relative strengths of the Prius V, the Highlander and the RAV4 and especially good at demonstrating the new features of the optional tech package. We especially appreciated the amount of time he took to do set up prior to our driving the car off the lot. It was an entirely satisfactory experience and we would do business with Joe and Crown again!
