Awesome dealership

by Terry_Kinane on 06/16/2018

I can't speak highly enough about this dealership and the culture of how they do business. I have now purchased three vehicles there over the last 12 years, the most recent being the purchase of a Mazda CX5 Grand Touring yesterday. If you live within a 25 mile radius of Roswell, and you're looking to buy or lease a Mazda, go out of your way and go to Mazda Of Roswell. I worked with Aaron Gillison and Robert Fine on the sales side, and Louis Safdie on the finance side. These guys are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They have a streamlined process to get you into your new vehicle as fast as possible, but you don't feel rushed, and nor are you there all day getting the deal done. The deal that Aaron gave me on the CX5 GT was terrific, and I'll be going back soon to buy another Miata for my wife. I'm someone who enjoys the traditional way of purchasing a vehicle, but I don't want to be at the dealership all day..... and I want a good deal. If that's you, reach out to Aaron at Mazda Of Roswell.

Quality ... Comfort ... Value at a Fanta$tic Price

by zoomin440 on 03/24/2018

Robert Fine gave us a quality and comfortable Mazda of Roswell experience from "Hello how are you doing today" to "Thank You for letting us earn your business again". Robert started by listening to why we came to Mazda of Roswell and what we were looking for and put us into test drives that focused on our preferences. Robert was very knowledgable about the features and details of each car that we drove and the advanced technologies that Mazda implements to put superior driving and safety performance on the road. We've been driving Mazda since 1979, this was absolutely the best most laid back quality fun Mazda buying experience my wife and I have ever had. Robert made deciding on the perfect car for us fun and absolutely stress free. Louis Safdie made all of the finance details and paperwork a breeze to complete and gave us every option he felt would improve our out the door bottom line. We drove off with a beautiful amazing Mazda 6 at a fanta$tic price. Thank You !! zz

CX-5 Bought from Robert Fine at Mazda of Roswell

by emill289 on 02/28/2018

My fiance and I had a great experience at Mazda of Roswell. Salesman, Robert Fine, was extremely accommodating with us even though we came into the dealership as they were nearly closing. He quickly got us into a test drive for the 2018 Mazda CX-5 which we came to see. The CX-5 went above and beyond all expectations. Robert helped us work out a great deal with Mazda of Roswell, and we can't thank them enough.

by saharagal on 03/30/2017

I have bought several cars from Keith at Mazda of Roswell and have sent many friends his way. Keith and Aaron have are always helpful from start to finish on all sales. Service after the sale is very important to me, and Keith doesn't disappoint. He takes good care of me and my entire family - we've all bought cars from Mazda of Roswell. I highly recommend Keith and his associates at Mazda of Roswell!

Go elsewhere

Aaron and his staff were rude and unwilling to provide information. All I wanted was a price via email. No hours spent in the dealership. Other dealers in town could do it...not these people. GO ELSEWHERE

Too bad I can only give 5 stars

by edithcollins on 08/08/2016

This was an excellent experience. Anthony and Aaron scoured the county for my dream car and found it! I wanted a very specific car with very specific features. They were able to get me EVERYTHING I wanted. The car was in Pensacola and they had it brought up.The price was great and the transaction was easy. It took longer to clean the car for delivery than the sales transaction took! They worked very hard for my business. Very honest and very easy to deal with. I would never go anywhere else! Great jon\b guys!!!

Liars

by Harmonie on 07/26/2016

The worse experience I have ever had. I came in with my own financing and they messed it up by shopping my loan. I got over 40 pulls on my credit report from that and after all of that, I kept the car 2 months for them to ask for it back after they jacked up my financing and it had expired. I would never go to then for anything. NOTHING

Rude beyond words

by JKCarsfans on 06/11/2016

My wife and I visited Mazda of Roswell on Saturday looking at possibly test driving a Miata. We pulled into an open parking spot in from of the dealership where the Miata's were parked. Just as we were stepping out of the car, a young man walked up to us in what we thought would be a sales greeting. Rather than greeting us, the sale person told us to move our car this was only for new car parking although the spot is not marked as such. I apologized and said we didn't know because it's not marked. He then responded again by saying get your car out of this sport. The young man didn't greet us, thank us for being there, or even suggest another place for us to part. He just rudely told me to move. I that point I was disturbed by his demeanor and I said I would just leave the dealership and his response was fine...leave. After hearing this response I asked to speak with the General Manager due to his complete lock of basic professionalism. A few minuted laster I was brought in to meet with the Sales Manager named Earl Harris. Earl ask me what my problem was and I explained the actions of the sales person. Earl Harris then questioned me by saying are you sure he said that. I told Earl I would not waste my time coming in here if he had not and he questioned me again if it actually happened. As you can imagine, I was pretty upset at this point. He then proceeded to ask if I was there to buy and car or not! I told him we were here looking at cars and he just smirked and gave out a little condescending laugh. No apology, no concern, no respect. Based on Earl's way of handling this situation, I told him I wanted to speak with the General Manager or the Owner. Earl refused to help me or provide me that information. I advised him I would find out on my own then. I proceeded to go back outside and look further at the new model Miata;s an no one would come out and let us look in one. I walked back inside and asked Earl if anyone was going to offer any kind of customer support to us and Earl jumped up from behind his desk, got in my face and ordered me to leave the dealership. I felt threatened by his actions and left to make a call to the management/owner of the dealership. It took me about 12 calls to finally get in touch with one of the owners of the dealership and explain what happened. He said he would call back in a week but I'm waiting to see the outcome of what happened to me today. I'll post an update soon! Beware, in all my years I have never experience anything so rude and condescending at this Earl Harris and the general lack of care by a dealership about how their employees treat someone.

Lied to get me in the door.

by traceybp on 12/06/2015

I saw a vehicle online that I wanted to view, so I communicated by email & chat with Rachel Underwood. I was clear about which vehicle, so far as to share the ad for the car within the chat box (an option they provide.) She asked me to hold, then came back & told me the vehicle was still available. I made an appointment to go in and see the car & verified with her 30min before I arrived that it was still there. When I got to the dealership, I was greeted by a man who told me the car wasn't available. He said that Rachel "just works the internet & wouldn't know" and that it had actually sold *THE DAY BEFORE.* He had the gall to ask me if he could show me something else - as if I'd consider buying from them after a bait & switch. My family has owned 3 Mazda's, including our current Mazda5 & Mazda CX-5. We've bought the last two from Hennesy in Jonesboro. I thought we could save the drive & buy in Roswell since they handled a warranty issue adequately for us this summer, but I wouldn't ever buy from Mazda of Roswell & will make sure to leave this review everywhere I can online. I *WILL* be buying a 4th Mazda *THIS WEEK* but it won't be here.

Beware! Horrible Car Buying Experience!

by JMo015 on 04/18/2015

I bought a used low mileage dodge truck at this dealership in March of 2015. The sales associate was nice and focused on customer satisfaction, but the used car sales manager, Ed (heavy set gentleman with glasses and a goatee) was a different story. I drove the truck off the lot with a missing driver's side rear view mirror, which was on order and scheduled to be at the dealership the same week. When it arrived, I brought the truck back to get it installed, and during installation, it was dropped and broken by the installing technician. No big deal... accidents happen, the dealership put another one on order, albeit at no rush. Then, upon arriving home, my exhaust system, downstream of the catalytic converter fell off the car. Got a tow truck out to the house to bring the truck to the dealer next morning. The towing was at my expense, dealer didn't offer to pay. When we got it there, the dealership personnel came out to inspect and started mumbling about how I probably hit something. When confronted about this, the sales manager said, well these things happen at 45,000 miles. Really? I guess everyone's exhaust system falls off their vehicles at that threshold and I've just been lucky with all the cars I've owned to date. Despite this, they did the right thing and replaced the system the same day. They test drove it and returned it, stating the suspension is squeaky but the car is in tip top shape mechanically. Come to find out after taking it to a local repair shop, the truck has the following issues: heavily corroded sway bar and busings which need replacement ($1200) and a leak in the radiator at a point that would require radiator replacement in the near future. I’m not naive. It’s a used car, these things can happen. However, given the series of events I thought to go back to the dealership and see if I could work a trade out, realizing I was going to take a loss. I called daily to talk to Ed, the used car sales manager, about the whole situation. Amazingly, every time I called (which was at different times of the day), he was in a meeting. I left messages, and he never called back. So, I decided to go in one weekend. I sat down to talk to him and he half paid attention to what I was saying but told me we could try to work something out. However, he harpooned me on trade in value and penalized me for the replaced exhaust. I expressed that I didn’t think I should be punished for something that should have been in decent condition at the time of purchase and furthermore I questioned that the vehicle could have even passed inspection. At that point, he started yelling at me for calling him a liar and told me to “get [non-permissible content removed] out of the dealership”. Customer service for you. All I wanted was to see the emissions inspection report and work out another vehicle sale with him. This sales manager is [non-permissible content removed], childish, and ignorant. An underlying story to all this is when I purchased my vehicle, I traded in a honda accord. They gave me trade in value for it, but turned around and marked it up 3.5 times the trade in! In hindsight, I realize I made a hasty decision and didn’t do my due diligence in fully inspecting the vehicle upon purchase. Lesson learned on my part. I bought a vehicle in poor condition, but someone sold me a vehicle in poor condition and charged me like it was in very good condition. I got taken to town financially and got treated like garbage when I was confronting them and trying to work out a deal that still would have gotten them another car sale. Hopefully, their new car sales department has better leadership, but I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere when buying a used vehicle. I would hate for this to happen to someone else. Last item of note: Still don't have my rear view mirror 4 weeks later...

After 3 weeks of communication and negotiation, I had the bank cut a check to Mazda of Roswell for the agreed upon amount. All the pictures sent to me (a few day after each request) showed a truck that should be in a showroom. After I flew in 550 miles, I was introduced to a piece of junk, it was not roadworthy. I had to rent a car and make a 10 hour drive back home, missing two day of work. They [non-permissible content removed] and are dishonorable.

Dishonest, avoid at all costs

by MiniXP on 09/18/2014

Avoid this place at all costs. I am from about 5 hours away and bought a 2008 BMW 335i from them. Summary: Car had preexisting issues that were unnoticeable when I purchased the car. After 2.5 weeks of ownership the engine fails and needs to be replaced. I am left with over $9,000 in repairs. For this reason I had to work with them over the phone. They were extremely hard to get a hold of and generally rude on the phone. As the car was a high maintenance car, I wanted to get an independent pre purchase inspection before I purchased it. At first they suggested a shop that they work with for an inspection and told me they would not take it anywhere else. This was all around pretty shady and I told them things would not work out that way. After that another salesman calls me back and tells me they would take it to a shop I selected if I put down a deposit, which I did and they took the car to be inspected later that week. I almost got the feeling they did not want to sell me the car I was interested in. I would have walked away, but they had the exact car I had been looking for for over a year. Finally I work things out with them over the phone, had gotten an inspection done at a shop. The shop found a few things wrong such as an oil leak and rear brakes close to being worn out, which Mazda of Roswell assured me they would fix and that the car would need nothing when I purchase it. I put a deposit down and drove down later in the week. I take the car for a short test drive, during which I am told to not drive too fast as I do not own the car yet (reasonable, but it is a sports car that I am buying with the intent of doing some performance driving events). I take the short test drive; car has a few more scratched then disclosed, but overall looks pretty good. I buy the car and drive 5 hours home. That night after the car had a chance to cool, I start it up and instantly hear what is known on these cars as waste gate rattle. This issue only appeared when the motor was cool, so the inspection shop and I were unable to notice it previously since the car had been warmed up both times. This is an issue that eventually has to be fixed, but does not have any immediate effect on the car. A BMW shop charges about $3,000 for this, with some dealers charging up to $6,000 (as the engine needs to be removed to replace the turbos). The next day I was driving the car around and took it up to about 5,500 RPM a few times. The car quickly goes into "limp mode" which means there is an issue with the motor. I look up this issue and find it is not a major fix, but an intermittent problem that can show up. Two weeks and a half weeks later I am driving and the engine develops a knocking sound. I take it to a shop and they find the knock is internal to the engine and the oil is full of metal particles. This means the engine is completely shot. Now on my can I purchased 2.5 weeks prior, I need to put a new engine in it. I have not gotten the final bill for that, but it is going to be over $9,000. I called Mazda of Roswell and their response to all these issues was that I should have purchased a warranty. This car clearly had preexisting issues that I mentioned earlier, trying to have a warranty fix these would have been fraud as warranties do not cover preexisting issues. Not to mention the fact that the dealer assured me the car needed nothing.

I had a HORRIBLE Experience at Mazda of Roswell!

by ID44_J055 on 09/17/2014

I had a very bad experience with Mazda of Roswell, I purchased a new car, returned my lease, I was told there would not be any wear / tear or disposition fee. 3 weeks later I get a bill from the bank that I had leased the old car through. Mazda would not assist with the bill (that included a disposition fee and wear and tear), even though they had told me there would not be any disposition fee's or wear & tear. I called for 3 months straight every couple of days, always an excuse from mgrs at Roswell of Mazda, I even tried calling the General Manager on 10 occasions, each time I was told he would call me back, many times he did not, when I was able to get ahold of him, I was told many '“stories'”. Overall, I had a horrible experience and I will never buy a Mazda from Roswell of Mazda, I probably never buy a Mazda again if Mazda does not have any oversight of these types of dishonest dealerships.

Bait & Switch, [non-permissible content removed]

by milly822 on 08/05/2014

I emailed around to several dealerships prior to selecting Mazda of Roswell based on the price that I received from Aaron via email. When I arrived at the dealership they switched the model that was negotiated for a model year older vehicle, When I pointed this out, they refused to honor the deal and engaged in typical car salesman trickery. I'd even go so far as to say that while I was there my iphone's ip address was kicked off the wi-fi as I initially had no trouble showing my emails to the salesman on my phone confirming what was emailed to me along with other offers from additional dealers for the same price, however, after there was an issue, my cell phone would no longer access the internet. I obviously can't confirm this, but I don't doubt they had something to do with it. I would avoid this dealership at all cost, unless of course, you are willing to get beaten up by the salesman and overpay for a vehicle.

Great Salesman, Horrible Managers

by want_fair_deal on 02/03/2013

This a long review, but I want to forewarn those who are considering going to this dealership. First off, I went to the dealership only because the salesman had gotten my name and number and called me. I should have hung up after the first 5 minutes, but it became obvious that he was immensely more knowledgeable than the salesmen I'd talked with at 2 other seedy Mazda dealerships. Long story short, he kept me on the phone for an hour, countering every one of my arguments with facts and figures about a new 2014 Mazda. When I told him I would only visit the dealership if they would use my trade-in to waive all up-front fees. Although he made no promises, he was incredibly enthusiastic in assuring me that they could do a great job of getting me into the car. As others have noted in their comments, when I met this salesman he was very friendly, personable, and had an incredibly in-depth knowledge of the vehicle. My wife and I were taken on a test drive, and we were very, very impressed with the way the salesman used the contours of the road (in rainy weather) to demonstrate the power, handling, and safety features of the vehicle. By the end of the test drive we were 100% sold. However, after the test drive the rest of the experience was a nightmare. Sadly, we ended up walking away from this fantastic vehicle that we believed outperformed all other manufacturer's vehicles in its class. The trade-in assessor and sales manager came up with numerous 'rationalizations' designed to make our trade-in appear absolutely worthless. Our car (from a different mfr) has been extremely well-cared for, with all recommended maintenance performed by the mfr, always with all genuine parts. Mazda of Roswell offered us only $1,400 for our trade-in. Later that night I went to the NADA website, entered all my car's stats, and NADA reported that even if my car were categorized as a "Rough Trade-In" (means car in horrible condition, requires considerable repairs, might not even run, has a myriad of body defects and permanent interior stains, etc.) -- which it's not -- its trade-in value is $3,700. My car has none of these defects, and it runs/drives smoothly and dependently. I ran the same info on the Kelley Blue Book website and got the same trade-in value, give or take 50 bucks. MOR also greatly de-valued my car because a Carfax report said it has had 6 owners (that number shocked me). When I read the report, it showed there had only been 2 'customer' owners (i.e. folks who had bought the car for personal transportation): the person who bought the car when it was new, and me. The other so-called 'owners' were wholesalers and dealers who had taken possession of the car to try to sell it. When I pointed this out to MOR, I was told that buyers and wholesalers only look at the number of owners and stop reading if it's greater than 2, abandoning any interest in looking the car over to determine its current condition. This morning I wrote to Carfax asking if they're in agreement with my interpretation of the 6 reported owners, so I can have documented accountability when I next try to use my car as a trade-in or sell it myself. I was so frustrated when I learned all of the above that I wrote to the salesman and told him I'm going to contact Mazda USA to see if they can set me up with a dealership whose managers are willing to deal with me fairly. If you want a great test drive to get thoroughly acquainted with a Mazda, I highly recommend going to Mazda of Roswell. But if you decide after the test drive that you love the car, make your purchase elsewhere.

Best Car buying experience to date

by robin327 on 10/19/2012

I just bought a new Mazda CX5 and worked with Aaron G. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the features of my new car and how to operate it. I had several questions during the negotiating process and Aaron was quick to respond to my emails and very pleasant to work with. I had been to several area Mazda dealers before going to Mazda of Roswell and have to say that I would definitely recommend Aaron G. personally and Mazda of Roswell as well, over the others because of their exceptional treatment of me as a customer before, during and after the sale.

Great Experience (but bought a Ford)

by thewymers on 06/13/2012

I didn't buy a car from this dealership, but I sure wanted to. We ultimately decided on a Ford Flex--it was just a better fit for our family. However, my experience with everyone at Mazda Roswell was wonderful! I met with sales person Aaron twice. Both times he has personable, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. Manager Sheldon gave me a very fair quote on my trade, and was respectful of my time. Finance Manager Mac was a pleasure to work with. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is that I don't feel I can accurately assess what it's like to buy a car from them. I did get as far as picking out a specific VIN and working out financing.

Be Carful! take precaution steps before buying...

by asherh on 09/15/2011

First deal I had with this dealership was at Dec 2006, when I bought 2 used cars. I was naive and didn't checked their pricing well and fell into not that great of a deal. Recently I traded in one of these cars with a newer 2006 Mazda 6 with 70K. The sales person almost "begged" me to buy that car which was sitting on their parking lot for more than 4 months... after I got the right pricing I eventually bought it but the next day the engine warning light turned on and I had to pay deductible to fix the problem (good I purchased insurance) and they lost my spare key and now they ask me to pay $300 to buy new one... bottom line - use extreme precaution and check and double check EVERYTHING before you sign the deal. BTW, they try to save money and not provide you with CAR FAX (they use cheaper version of Auto Check, which is not robust like CAR FAX) - Ask for the CAR FAX and don't settle for less.

nothing but lies and deception here

by dontbetaken on 07/06/2011

I lost count of how many times we were lied to and purposely deceived during our transaction with this dealer. Get whatever the say in writing and anything you sign get a copy of immediately or your never going to see it most likely. And then you'll be told you never signed anything and that they are just trying to help you because they are the good guys. If you are there and the person you are speaking to has the initials TB you need to turn around and walk out. Actually you just should never go into this business. There are many other reputable businesses in Atlanta that will treat you honestly, this one is not it. Check BBB and other reviews. You will not find just isolated instances. Any positive you find is always vague and oddly perfectly timed after someone leaves a negative review. I wish I would have done some research before dealing with them. It's not worth the trouble to do any business with them. I ran into a former employee who was not surprised to hear my story when told. He said he left the business as fast as he could when he worked there. Oh and don't buy the little old lady traded in her car and it was barely driven and taken care of. They apparently use that story quite often as I've found out. And $500 for a dealership fee on a used car? !! What for, washing it? 125 point inspection?? it's a joke. This dealership is a joke. Support someone else who will not lie to you and deceive you to make a buck.
