Literally stole my sons, vehicle and graduation present!

First thing to say, whatever you do, do not buy a vehicle from this dealership! The old dealership seemed to care about you, now, the new management is all about greed. We ordered a Ford Maverick for my son. We have been waiting for the vehicle almost a year. It finally came in, but we were on vacation. We told them vehemently that we wanted the vehicle. With only one day left on our vacation I was texted by sales person who by the way we have dealt with for over a decade, that they sold our vehicle out from under us. What they did was totally illegal and just disgustingly wrong. We ordered the vehicle straight from Ford and also had a $200 deposit down on the vehicle. The only thing they offered to do for us was sell us another vehicle if someone doesn’t want one of theirs. Now they told us we could order a 2024 if we want. We have bought four vehicles from this place and referred numerous people there who have bought vehicles. As I said before, now, the new management is all about greed, greed, and greed. oh, did I happen to mention that they also tacked on the largest dealer fee in Florida and also put two aftermarket things on our vehicle that we did not order? Yep, those things also added up to $3095 extra on the vehicle! So whatever you do, do yourself a favor, and go buy a vehicle from anyone but this place. I guarantee you will end up paying at a minimum at least $3000 to possibly even $10,000 more than somewhere else. Hey, if you just don’t like money though go buy your vehicle there and throw it away.

Mad_As_Hell

First of all, I try to stay away from Miami-Dade county because it is the scam capital of the state. With that being said, I found a good deal on a 2007 Ford Explorer with only 65K miles, found the vehicle on autotrader.com, I call the dealer and spoke to Chris at the internet department, I asked him if the vehicle was available, they said it was, I asked them if the car was indeed $9990, they said yes, I asked him what were the dealers fee and any other fees, they told me the dealers fee was $899. I asked him again if there are any other fees, he then asked me if I had a tag, which I told him I did, he responded: all you have to pay is taxes, and tag transfer, ok so I told him if Im doing the math right the car will be around $12000 out the door, he did confirm that this was the ball park figure out the door for the car, Ok so I went ahead and booked an appointment for Sunday. That night I convinced my wife who does not like to drive on I-95, to take the Tri-Rail south, so we could go get the vehicle. Left home at 11am, We arrived at the dealer at 2:30pm, the dealer is under construction, so the Uber driver dropped us off on the Ford side, we had to walk thru the construction site, over to the Nissan side, this is where we met Gene, the salesman. First thing he said to me is I have someone coming down from Jacksonville, I said Ok thats fine but I have an appointment to buy the car, he said the guy had put a $100 down payment, I said Ok so is the car not for sale, he said yes it is but lets look at the numbers, ok, he says to me that the car is not $9990, the car is indeed $12990, because I did not click, a 6pt size link below the price, that stated that this price was if I trade in a 2008 or newer vehicle and I financed the car, so I said to him, im buying a 2007 and you want me to trade in a 2008? He said he didn't make the rules, then he said that Chris forgot to inform me that there was an additional administrative fee of $675, at this point I lost it, I told him that I had not even driven there, I had taken the train there with my wife so I could drive the car back home, he said that he had already a good deal on the table from the guy driving down from Jacksonville, unless I took the deals at $15000 and change it was not going to happen. So here it is this is what happened to me yesterday 5/16/21, this was the most unprofessional business encounter I have ever received and this is the main reason I am writing this lengthy review, they bait and switched me once I arrived, and took an opportunity when they saw that I had arrived on an Uber and not my own vehicle. I will never buy a vehicle from this people and you shouldn't buy one either.

Worst Buying and Service Dealership in the Country

Even getting things in writing and signed off on before buying, they still wouldn't honor their promises. Had my used car in their Service Center for a Month with no loaner car which was part of the deal. I was also the one chasing them to get updates. When they finally finished the work. They refused to provide a receipt for my records! The very worst Sales and Service Team in the Country!! Buyers beware this is your final warning...Don't do it no mater how good the price is or what they promise you. Go elsewhere it's no worth it!!

Terrible Experience

Gross mismanagement at a very unorganized dealership. Beware of being asked to pay several unnecessary and inflated fees at the time of purchase as well as months after a purchase. I strongly recommend others avoid this dealership. I purchased a vehicle and was surprised when the very high dealership fees were added. I feel the difference in vehicle price from the original price to the price I negotiated was bumped back up roughly the same amount, then more, by add-on dealership fees in the thousands. This occurred after price negotiations with salesman Tato. I was told by Tato I had to apply the down payment before talking to the finance guy, and after the down payment was applied, there is no room to avoid the high/inflated dealer fees that Lorenzo Ford increases unreasonably. Tag transfer to GA...already had tag from previous vehicle, just needed it transferred. Was told by Sussette that she would let me know when the tag transfer was complete. I purchased the vehicle on July 13th and was eventually told by Sussette on November 30th that the transfer could be completed by me going to the GA tag office. It took over 4 1/2 months for her to tell me that after multiple follow-ups on the status. This was after I was told I had to pay her (the dealership) $260.80 in order to complete the tag transfer, on top of the $173.00 I paid at the time of purchase (4 months ago) for a total of $433.80 to transfer the tag to GA. When I pressed for answers, I was eventually told I didn't owe anything and could have the tag transfer completed just by visiting the GA tag office. So I almost paid an extra $260.80 for nothing...and had to wait 4 1/2 months for this...the Better Business Bureau will be hearing about this from me for sure. Great Dealership!

It's incredible the transformation Lorenzo Ford has done to a prior Ford dealership I had horrible experience with. I spoke to one of the Sales Manager Luis over the phone in regards to ending my lease and possibly leasing my next vehicle. Sales Agent Roberto assisted me in all the test drives, vehicle questions, and down to the closing deal on my new 2017 Ford F-150. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and dedicated. They treated me like family and showed no interest in trying to make a dime off of me. They made sure I was satisfied and happy with my new car. I got the deal I wanted and neeedless to say I would recommend ANYONE who needs a new vehicle.

Car was out for about a month

I had a great experience working with Lorenzo Ford. The experience was all because of Carlos - he was attentive and understanding. He made sure that I was taken care of throughout the entire process. My car was being fixed for about a month and Carlos made sure that I had a loaner car. This was my first experience with a situation like this and I can definitely say it was a positive one. Thank you Carlos for being so cool and understanding.
