onYou have the best service department! My insurance company was being difficult and the service rep assigned to me was just so polite and let me vent. It was like talking to a friend, which is something customer service is lacking these days. I know I pay extra at Chevy but it’s worth it. I know they’ll take care of me. <3 Thanks Guys

Misdiagnosed

onCheck engine light for emission system issue cost me about $700, mainly labor. After 1 day, check engine light is back on, now they see the real cause they missed the first time. But I still got to pay for everything including redoing what they did the first time. Devin quoted $1,500 I would guess mainly labor again.

Fremont Chevrolet Waste of time

onWorst car buying experience ever. Don't waste your time. This dealership has no integrity and does not stand by their word or offer that they make with you. On Saturday, 12/7/2019 I went to Fremont Chevrolet and met with Salesperson John. John was great and we made a deal to buy a new 2019 Silverado fully loaded. We signed all the paperwork and I gave them a check for the amount in full. (Cash Buyer) $41,674 The truck was at another dealership and arrangements were made to have the truck delivered the following Monday. Monday rolls around and I'm expecting an update as to when I can pick up the truck I bought. At 1PM I get a text from John saying they are "having some problems getting the truck up here but sill working on it." Turns out that the truck was sold at the other dealership despite me already buying it and paying for it. Fremont Chevrolet put the blame on the other dealership and gave me two alternatives. Pay the same price for a 2020 model Silverado with no upgrades or buy another 2019 Silverado with the same upgrades as our first deal, but pay $500 more. Obviously a deal was already made and the dealership failed to fulfill their end or make it right by selling us another truck for the same price. Now I was stuck renegotiating all over again because they did not want to honor their end of the agreement. I also found out that my check had to be reversed as it was already sent out to be cashed before I even got the truck. I renegotiated with John on another truck for $44,489. Granted this truck had more upgrades but the they were not willing to work with me on the numbers to bring it closer to the original deal. The floor manager Sahib offered the truck for $44,000 out the door with all weather floor mats. I ended up walking away because of the principle not so much the price difference. I felt the dealership kept trying to squeeze more money out of me. I was told if I changed my mind to come back. On 12/17/2019 I returned to the dealership to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if they would make it right. They told me the $44,000 truck was still available and would have it delivered the following day. On 12/18/2019 the truck was delivered and detailed. I was told they would honor the same offer of $44,000 with all weather mats. I sat down to do the paperwork but now they told me the best they could do was sell the truck for $46,500. I couldn't believe after all this, they were again backing out on their word. I showed them a photo I took of their previous offer which showed the $44,489. Ultimately they were not willing to honor the $44,000 like they had told me. Now we were $489 away from making a deal because the dealership backed out on their word. I spoke to the floor manager David who told me there was nothing he could do. I explained the entire negative experience we had with them and that I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right before I wrote a negative review. He encouraged me to write a bad review. He also told me that it's not like the old days and cash buyers are not valued because they make more money financing the cars. I asked David to call the General Manager Bani which he claimed he did but got no answer. I left my phone number with David and asked him to have the GM Bani call me. I have not received a call from Bani as of this writing. In total I spent about 15 hours on 4 different occasions at the dealership trying to purchase a new truck but apparently my cash and my business is not valued there. I've yet to receive a call from any manager from this dealership to make it right, hence here I am sharing the experience I had with them as David recommended. Bottom line is they do not value their customers and do not stand by their word. I'd recommend trying a different dealership unless you want to waste hours negotiating and still walk away without a new car.

onTheir services offered was three times higher than what I paid to have my car fix. Even though I have a warranty on my new car I will never deal with Chevy again

onDon’t waste your time coming here. Horrible service every time I have to bring my car in. Brought in my car at 8 am for oil change and 2 other services.. got my car back at 6 pm with only oil change done! The 2 other services I needed weren’t done.

onI took my daughter with me to experience what can be truly awful - negotiating to lease a new car. Dealing with 'Mo' for a new Bolt was straightforward, as he was honest, kind, and helpful. We were delighted by how we were treated, and very happy with the deal we received. I would recommend working with him in a heartbeat.

onUsually pretty scared about taking my cars into dealers for repairs/maintenance, but this was a good experience. Service rep was quick to get a foreman in my car to find the noise coming from front suspension, car only has 3k miles and was also seemed to have an issue. The foreman knew exactly what it was within a few seconds of hearing it. Did my routine maintenance as well. Painless and easy, thanks fellas

onThe deciding factor in selecting Fremont Chevy was that Fremont provided a TrueCar price on the Chevy Bolt I wanted to buy. I was actually ready to buy at a different dealer but they did not provide a TrueCar price and they annoyed me with their price negotiating games and tricks. Getting a good price was important but getting the best price was not. Knowing the price before I came in was most important. I wanted a quick efficient transaction when I showed up in person and Fremont delivered. The only way the experience could have been better was by having the paperwork ready for me to sign sooner. onAfter a disappointing experience at another local dealer, I called Clark at Fremont Chevy. He was able to find the exact Chevy Volt model with all the features and options I wanted and have it delivered and prepped in two days. He worked with me to get the price and lease terms I needed. He gave my wife and me a demo drive and explained all the car's features and got us signed up for OnStar. Go buy your new Chevy from Clark at Fremont.

why so bad

onOMG, how can worse become worst? You should go to this dealership if you are first one in line and 2 customers after you get serviced before you. Then service manager came and tried to diffuse it. You should give your car for servicing here if you don't want to be informed after the servicing is done. Service advisor doesn't care to inform you that your car is done. We are going back to San Jose. It is OK to drive all the way from Fremont to San Jose to get a good service instead of getting a bad going on worse. Didn't dare to go to the restroom again since last time experienced it was the worst smelling one. Didn't dare to ask for shuttle since the shuttle driver made us wait over 2 hrs before. Once we used his services and I was the last one to drop off, so offered him a tea and he came in and sat for 1 hr just chatting. No wonder, his this habit is making other customers wait for hours.

Bad Service, Very Disrespectful

onThis is the worst dealership I have ever been to. I have been shopping for a new vehicle for the past few months and have never been treated so disrespectfully by dealership until I arrived at Fremont Chevrolet. At first, I was dealing with Joel, who was nice, but pawned me off on June. June was pleasant, funny, and easy to deal with, and he would get 5 stars, if I wasnt reviewing the dealership. That being said, Joel, internet sales, Jason, sales manager, and Chris, finance manager were nothing short of condescending, manipulative, and downright [non-permissible content removed] who couldnt keep their stories or policies straight. They were pleasant until they had me on the hook to buy the vehicle, but when I refused to run a credit check with them, and attempted to get my private loan officer involved to purchase the vehicle, it suddenly became unavailable. I was talked over when I asked questions about their Homeland Security OFAC check, that is supposedly mandatory (even though NADA and NIADA say that it is not), and was accused of being a liar by Chris, when I called them out on the misinformation that I was receiving from them. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone ever and am greatly disappointed in the disservice I received. Dealerships like this is the reason why car salesmen get a bad report.

onI came in for an oil change I said I thought I smelled burned oil about a week ago.. Quan in service told me after 4 hours that my car had 3 leaks and wanted to charge me $2600 plus tax to fix it. I took it to 2 other mechanics of which one was my friend and they checked it and said I have NO LEAKS at ALL. This is by far the WORST dealer experience I have ever had. I was planning on getting 2 new Chevys by June but not from this dealer group!

Nice Experience

onThis place made my purchase very comfortable. I got a good deal from Cody and Kenny, to which, I agreed in just few minutes and got home the car in 2 hrs!!!. The experience was as easy as buying a water bottle from a gas station. They gave me the moon roof, worth 1000 dollars, for free.

Bad Dealership - Switch and Bait

onThis is a bad Dealership. They play dirty tricks and try to cheat their customers at every opportunity. We had a deal and agreed on all the terms. I even bought the cashiers check as they requested. Then I went to the dealership and after waiting a while, I am told that they are changing the deal, needless to say in their favor. I was unbelievably upset since I ordered this Camaro with a unique combination of color and options and it finally came in. Anyway, I was not going to let them rip me off even though I was quite disappointed that I could not drive home in my new car. On the way home I stopped at another dealer and told them exactly what happened and they not only matched the exact deal but even made it $200 lower because they appreciated that I am not giving up on Chevy and only on the dealership. Do yourself a favor and spare yourself the agony of shopping at this dealership
