Near perfect experience

Everything was exactly as expected and described. No haggling and I never felt like I was being messed it. It was an easy car buying experience. My only complaint is that in this time of covid, there were signs on the doors saying masks were necessary and over 1/2 the staff did not wear them and I heard one salesman tell his customers, "You don't have to wear that thing if you don't want to". We did 99% of our transaction outside on some tables so we made it work but had those tables not been there we would not have stayed.

5-Star Experience with Craig Nelson

I highly recommend buying an Audi from Craig Nelson at Audi North Scottsdale. He has a very low-key personality that put me at ease. He scored credibility points with me when I mentioned a preference for certain features that were not available in the Audi vehicle I was originally considering, and Craig suggested I look at a comparable vehicle manufactured by one of his competitors. I took more than a month to make my decision, and during that time, Craig was impressively responsive to my emailed questions but never pressed me for a commitment. In the end, I did order from Craig, and I didn't have to haggle on the price. He told me the MSRP, the dealer invoice, and what I would be paying (which was reasonable according to my independent research). While I waited for my Audi to be delivered, Craig kept me updated on its progress at appropriate intervals without my having to prompt him. Although it arrived a few days later than originally expected, I wasn't concerned because Craig had already promised that he would put me in an Audi loaner at no charge. After my vehicle arrived, Craig took his time explaining all the features and assured me that he would be happy to review the information again (and even come out to my house) if I needed that service. I should also note that Chris Fredlake, who handled all the contractual red tape, was also pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks, Craig and Chris, for a five-star experience!

Highly Recommended

Car buying can be a real hassle and degrading experience BUT Not so at Audi North Scottsdale. My sales reps, Craig Nelson and Cindy Hau were just great. They made the process of buying a new A4 very painless and actually very enjoyable. I got a great deal on my trade and I'm excited to be a Audi owner again. Good buy Lexus.

Disneyland for Car Enthusiasts

Our family has purchased numerous cars form Audi North Scottsdale. Personally, I have purchased three from the dealership and our family has always been treated very well. Our salesman, Steve B., has always treated us fairly and given us deals that we have been more than happy with. The sales experience is quick, painless, and most importantly fun. There have never been any unneeded up-sales, last minute surprises, or hidden fees. Steve has always been patient and guided us to cars that are within our price range and make us happy in the long run. We have been a happy Audi family and will continue to do business with Steve and Audi North Scottsdale in the future.

never again

Dont go to this dealership purchased a car (used )sold me it with a recall major one air conditioning. Failed to tell me about it. Showed me a carfax but it wasnt my signiture!!! I never signed that carfax and they told me everything was perfect with their inspection. Wrong! bald inside tires at 10% on the outside looked great until we lifted car, totaly a safety disaster! No one cared the manager Bill was angry that I showed up in person to confront him because he wasnt returning my phone calls...This is what I get for trusting those sales people. I bet they would never put their family in a car with bald tires and broken air conditioner?

Sales smooth and helpful

We purchased a 2009 Audi A4 from this dealership in early August, having already done our research on what features were essential to us. The purchase process was smooth and hassle-free. We were provided a test drive on Sunday afternoon and took delivery of the selected A4 the next Saturday morning. There was an optional accessory that we wanted to add for the sound system, and the sales representative made the extra effort to locate the item for us. We have been very satisfied with the vehicle and the dealership.

Most Pleasant Experience Ever

My wife and I had been searching for an 09 Audi A4 Quattro in a silver finish. We did all our research on Edmunds and other sites and determined that a fair price to pay for what we wanted was $31,125. I hate car buying and doing all the haggling and we had decided that we would do our business over the internet. We tried dealing with our local Albuquerque Audi dealer and we walked away from the deal when they would not come down on the price of a car that was in a color we didn't want. The Albuquerque dealership was pretty rude and unresponsive and set in not coming off the price even though we had researched everything about the car and manufacturer to dealer incentives, consumer incentives, CARS, etc. They wouldn't budge. When we told them that we would buy the car at another dealership, I got a one word e-mail from their internet sales manager that said, "Okay." That same afternoon, I found Audi North Scottsdale on the internet. I found a car that was exactly what my wife wanted and I sent an e-mail off to them telling them that Albuquerque had a similar car that they would sell to us for $31,500 and I asked them if they could beat the price. Within literally minutes, they quoted me $31,000. A few more e-mails and discussion about trading in our old BMW and the deal was set. Our sales person, Debby Lloyd, and Internet Sales Manager Dennis Goad, were the most professional people I have ever dealt with in the car business. At the time of the deal, my father was dying of old age and ailments that come with it, and they were so pleasant and patient and supportive. Absolutely unseen ever before by me. Within a few days of my original e-mail we had a buyer's contract e-mailed to us and we began our financing process through our local credit union. At the same time that we we ready to go get our new car, my father passed away. After the funeral, we drove to Scottsdale in our trade and spent the night in a Hotel a few blocks from the dealership. The next morning we arrived and our new car was at the very front of the dealership with a sold sign on it with our name on it. We were met by Debby and Dennis and were treated extremely well. Dennis showed us all the features of the new car and took us for a test drive. When we were done with that, Debby showed us around the dealership and the service departement and within a few minutes we wre in the finance department to do all the paperwork. The woman there was very pleasant and when we hit a small snag over an applied rebate, I was prepared to do battle. I believe the Assistant General Manager came in and he listened to our concern. There was no fight or arguing. He just changed the numbers and he asked us if there was anything else he could do for us. The "snag" was over a $1000 rebate that Audi had just offered. They made sure that we got the rebate which allowed us to purchase the Audi Care maintenece program and we actually ended up paying about $400 less for the car than we had expected. I am telling you that I would buy from these folks again in a heart beat. Within an hour and a half of arrival at the dealership, we were headed home in our new car. It was truly a pleasure and I would recommend this dealership and these sales people to anyone considering buying a new Audi.

Internet Sales Same as Car Lot

I have not been on a car lot in 15 years and have purchased four different brands in this manner without any car lot antics until today. I asked for an E-mail quote on an Audi A3 base model automatic with a preferred color. The Internet sales man bantered back and forth over several E-mails without giving me a price as if we were on the lot. He then started quoting the MSRP and asking what model and what options I wanted like he was never sent the request from Edmunds. He then proceeded to say Edmunds was wrong and sent me a retail sheet that mirrored Edmunds, lights on no body home. He then stated he could discount $1200 dollars as he had stated before, this was the first time anything beside MSRP was mentioned. He asked if I want him to find the car and would I buy it for this price. End result he did not have a base model in the color but found a loaded model in that color which is at another dealer. Audi aspires to a higher level but this dealership missed the boat.
