Perfect family vehicle

2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT 4dr Minivan w/Rear Liftgate LWB (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
We shopped almost every SUV and VAN even bought a used Honda Odyssey but quickly sold the Honda. Did our research and found no other vehicle fit our
needs. This is the best of both worlds - rides like a luxury car but larger and better capacity than the van. Every vehicle we looked at that had fold down seats
not one of them were flat when folded. All of them had some sort of … slope or had to be removed altogether. This has a perfectly flat cargo area with the seats folded down - perfect for dog crates. I have nothing bad to say about this vehicle in fact I've never liked a vehicle like I do this one. The price is also very reasonable compared to SUV's and Van's. A great wagon with a great price.
Nice Ride

2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT 4dr Minivan w/Rear Liftgate LWB (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
I bought my little van the end of March and am anxious to see how it does with my work .. So far it has been a great van , very comfortable, easy to navigate turns ... Navigation on the dash takes some time to get use to but over all could not ask for anything better ..
Well it's been a little over 2 years now and it still runs as good as the day I bought it .. I took it on a trip … last year to Orlando, Fl and it got almost 34.5 miles to the gallon cruising at 75 mph .. Wish it had a bigger gas tank than 15.5 gallons .. I love my Transit but the resale value is not good .. For a vehicle being only 2 years old I can't get but 12 grand on trade it .. And it's a loaded one not a cargo van ...
Swiss Army Van but a bit noisy after a year.

2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT 4dr Minivan w/Rear Liftgate LWB (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
Roof rack for plywood but a ten foot piece of lumber fits inside (passenger seat folded fwd). I've had it to the dump twice and it folds back into a mini van in a minute. The back seats are a bit hard to get into but with privacy glass give you a changeing room after a bike ride. Very functional, pretty and feels very solid. Holds the road much better than my 2010 TC. OK so months later … I still love this van. It takes me to Home Depot and though it is not a mega truck it is very useful. I'd buy it again. Adequate MPG enough power. About the noise , I started wearing hearing aids and now I really notice the noise. But the roads here in Northern CA are full of pot holes after the wet winter.
Don't buy it

2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon XLT 4dr Minivan w/Rear Liftgate LWB (2.5L 4cyl 6A)
The service manager told me that all of Ford vehicles are defective, because they are built by robots. After I bought it.
Two weeks Into ownership minor problems, paint, wheel covers, battery, none where fixed. I was actually told to go somewhere else to have it fixed.
Battery cover fell off during transport, dealer didn't do a predelivery inspection , found it 6m miles later, damaged … doesn't say anything.
Brakes are no good, 8500 miles still not working properly.
Hall O' Shame to Edmund's for not communicating the true value of this car to the consumers. Edmund's appraised this car at 5k miles at $14,000. I paid $30k
You won't find that In Edmund's review.
Cruise Control no good
Engine is undersized as well as the braking system.
Transmission slips, takes to long to engage from park.
I cannot describe how cheap this vehicle is.
Brand new condition you test drive and will not notice the horrific road noise resonating thru the tires.
If you can find one for 14k go for it, otherwise don't bother with it.
Total disservice to the consumer.
After compiling 500 computer files, mostly complaints, Our Consumer Protection agencies do not protect consumers, The Ford Motor Company refuses to repair any defects on this new car, including a new one discovered by the NHTSA, the side door can unlatch and cause the van to flip while driving. I stopped paying for the car, Ford Repossessed it, Sold it for less than half of what I paid for it, and now wants the balance from me. That will not happen. [non-permissible content removed].
